    Yamaha acoustic guitar
    Ashleigh P.

From the moment, Brandon took my phone call to the minute I stepped in the door, I experienced great customer service at Stage 1 Music. Robert did an excellent job, restringing my Yamaha acoustic guitar. He even went above and beyond to polish the fretboard because he noticed it was looking a little lackluster. This guitar is special to me because it is my first. I also purchased a new strap. Robert was very helpful and addressed my questions professionally and even gave me suggestions on how I can alter my guitar to use my strap more efficiently. I am currently using the string method, because I only have one notch on my guitar at the moment. I am happy to support a local business like theirs and I am grateful for the service I received today. I will definitely be back very soon to tune my electric and purchase a new microphone!

I've been coming here since they first opened regularly... Best studio rehearsal rooms I've ever jammed in. Thanks studio One!

Great store with nice people working there. Not much to say but we will be back as my daughter grows in her musical "career."

Clean studios with hands down the best maintained drums I've ever used. The staff is also nice and helpful.

Hello, I'm interested in learning how to play the ukulele, could help with that?

Yes! We teach ukulele. You can learn more about our music lessons and teachers on our website as well as register online: https://stage1music.com/music-lessons/

I sing, write, play guitar and a couple of other instruments. I'm looking to jam, possibly put a band together. Anyone interested in meeting here for a jam Sesh?

Hi Josh, Thanks for your interest! Since we’ve moved to our new location, we’ve scaled down to one rehearsal studio, which is booked solid between our regulars and our… Read more

So I tried to contact Teac parts department to order a replacement set of ear cups. They never answered my emails. So I decided to buy a new pair of headphones while I hold on to my Tascam model. I saw the Warm Audio HeadRoom headphones onsale for 29% off. Best part about the headphones are there frequency response of 10Hz to 30kHz and their included extra set of interchangeable ear cups. Plus I called Warn Audio and asked them of you can purchase ear cups separately. They said yes and they are $20 a pair. Which means that this is a long term investment. As when the ear cups wear out, I can use the included extra pair or buy new ones from Warm Audio. The Warm Audio HeadRoom headphones come in black, tan, and orange. I had to have the orange pair. But no Guitar Center within my area had them in orange. I needed them right now. Saw this Guitar location with stock. Drove out there. Got the orange pair. They sound nice and flat. Weekend mixes came out great. Im sure any future mix will sound great as well. Also, this Guitar Center location had the 2026 generation Live Wire Advantage TRS to TRS cables in stock. I can always use a nice pair of TRS to TRS. So I grabbed a pair of those too.

But still so few quality basses for those of us who play regularly and have the means to purchase new gear when we have a desire for something else to play. I'm astounded by the lack of follow through by anyone in a position to facilitate change with this issue. I'm guessing there are a few hundred guitars hanging on the walls and less than 50 basses. What gives, GC??? You make it very easy to spend my money using one of the online merchants. But here's the thing, I'd rather spend my money locally and keep the locals working. Do better. No more lip service...I run a company, you so or you don't. There is no try... Guitar Center is failing bass players. If I could write a review giving only half a star, I would.

During my first visit, a worker with gray hair approached us and told us that if a manager came by, we should act like we were buying something. I thought it was a strange and unprofessional comment, but I brushed it off and didn't think too much of it at the time. About a week later, I returned, and the exact same employee approached us again and made the same comment, telling us that if a manager came in, we should pretend we were going to buy something. At that point, it no longer felt like a joke and came across as completely inappropriate. While we were trying out guitars in one of the practice rooms, he repeatedly walked by, stopped, and stared at us through the glass. This happened multiple times and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. At one point, he commented on one of the guitars we were looking at and said, "You're not going to buy that guitar, that's an $1,800 guitar, right?" I found that comment extremely disrespectful and dismissive. After continuing to watch us, he eventually came into the room and asked, "Are you guys going to buy something or what? What's the plan?" By that point, I told him that the constant staring was making us uncomfortable. Instead of listening to what I was saying, he continued talking and insisted that I listen to him. I've been to many music stores and have never been treated this way. Being repeatedly watched, questioned about whether you're actually going to buy something, and being told that you're probably not going to buy a guitar because of its price is not acceptable customer service. This experience felt disrespectful, unprofessional, and made us feel unwelcome.
