Super bummed been almost a year and a half and still have not received my wedding pictures or album. At first I was super excited and knew i had made the right choice getting them for my photos and video. Transactions went smooth, even the wedding day everything seemed amazing, although I did receive my video, no word on the pictures only got them thru email, mind you i payed over 3k for what stated id get an album and a big pic. :-( all my emails have been ignored so far .. which really sucks. I shouldve stopped trying to budget and went with a girl photographer, as im sure she wouldve done a way better job capturing some of the moments that matter, they got NO pictures with my daughter me n husband... no real amazing pictures with my long veil!! Which was super long and amaziing, i wish i wouldve gone with a girl photographer who knows what a girl wants.. Anyway!!! I guess ill be creating my own wedding album on shutterfly :-( supper sad. read more

Highlight video was great but a BIG let down on the final video. My sister had an amazing wedding and paid for the best package that Robert had to offer. He failed to keep his end of the contract by not providing 2 videographers, missing key shots of the ceremony and quality of the recording was less than HD-720. In the end, it took him over 1 year to complete the photo album. He was difficult to work with on resolving the missing footage, missing videographer and poor video quality. NOT what he presented, nor was it what they paid for. You will not find a business license in LA, OC or the IE. Neither will you find him or Godina Production registered on the Better Business Bureau. read more

Our wedding was so perfect and I could not imagine what I would feel if the moments weren't captured on film. My budget was already set for specific details for our wedding. Originally when my husband and I discussed the details for our wedding, we decided to leave out a videographer and just have a photographer. Our thinking was that our family and friends could capture the wedding. Of course, as the wedding got closer I kept thinking "am I making the right choice?" My cousin had a videographer for her wedding and the video was amazing. I wanted someone local to the wedding venue and that wouldn't charge a grip load. I came across Roberts page on Yelp and read the reviews of how helpful he was. Let me tell you, Robert understood where I was coming from. I talked to him on the phone and explained my situation. He was able to put me on a payment plan and we agreed that I would receive the video when full payment was complete which is only fair. I was able to finish payment a couple months after the wedding (not many people allow this, usually full payment by the day of) and the video came out better than I imagined!! Overall, he provided quality work that gave us a lifetime of memories from our special day that we get to share with our children and even grandchildren. The drone was epic, our whole family teared watching the highlight film and the payment plan itself, allowed me to finish payment even after the wedding. Our family and friends tell us how our wedding was the best that they've been too. Thank you Robert! http://godinaproductions.squarespace.com/blog/2016/7/12/brittany-antonio-wedding-highlight-film-vitagliano-vineyards-winery-at-lake-oak-meadows read more

I found Godina Productions on yelp, I had a meeting with Robert Godina, he was very nice and understanding about the budget we had for photos and video. Right off the bat I had a good gut feeling. I'm glad I followed my gut because the video and the photography came out beautifully! I posted one pic on Facebook and got more likes and comments then ever before. He did a gorgeous job! I ADORE the photos and video! Couldn't ask for anything better! Thanks again! I am definitely recommending Godina Productions to everyone I know! I might need you in an year or so! read more

Beautiful photos, flexible photographer, timely service We had a small budget for our wedding and Robert put together a very reasonably priced package. He showed up before our scheduled time and got right to work. Robert was very flexible, patient and creative when taking our photos. He ended up leaving later than our scheduled time to capture us in the light of the setting sun. The photos turned out very nice. He posted a few of them online right away, and got the final product to us shortly thereafter. Even though we had a small budget and didn't purchase a fancy package, we still felt like Robert put a lot of effort and detailed attention into our wedding. My husband and I really enjoyed working with him. read more

We were very impressed by Robert when he did my cousins wedding and immediately knew that we had to have him do ours. I even had a special request to include some footage of me proposing to my wife in the photo montage that that they created for us. Everything was so perfect. I could not have asked for anything more, all the pictures and videos were beautiful and we received everything on time, when he said that we were going to get them. I was shocked to see the negative reviews on here because i cant picture them doing that at all. Im sure there must have been something that went terribly wrong. Thanks again for capturing such a beautiful memory for us! read more

After researching online for wedding photographers I came across the then, Godina Video website. Their photographs were beautiful and prices were reasonable so we made an appointment and ended up booking them over a year before our Oct. 2, 2010 wedding. They worked with us for both our engagement session and wedding day. They communicated well through email, were professional, on time, in my budget :) and also very nice people. The photographs that Veronica and Robert shot truly captured our wedding day. It was a beautiful day and I am soo pleased with the outcome of their work, photos and video. We received our photo cd very quickly, I think about a month after the wedding. The video took a little longer. And I do recommend getting the highlight video and the photobook or album, they tell the story of our wedding day just as I remember and since the day went by so quickly and was so much fun, I love reminiscing. Everyone that has seen our photos and video thinks they are just gorgeous, I really have some great photos to remember our happy day! read more

After they said they'd politely be willing to work with my budget, I gave them my budget, and then I never heard from them again!! Horrible courtesy and etiquette. You would think they have the decency to get back to you in a timely manner, instead of leaving you hanging. Nicely done. read more

We had found them on Yelp, thanks Yelpers! It's hard to find quality photographers & videographers when on a tight budget for the wedding overall. When we contacted them for pricing and information, Robert was gladly to meet with us in person. He showed us some of their work and went over their packages, we knew we had to go with Godina Productions. We're so thankful they were available for our wedding which was over Memorial wkend. Working with Robert was easy, we mainly communicated via emails & text, gave him the wedding day schedule and locations of events and his team showed up on time. The team were such a great bunch, gave off a great vibe for everyone and they were all SMILING through out the entire event. You can tell they actually LOVE their job. We will be getting the final photos in a few days, but Robert was nice enough to show us a sneak preview and they are amazing. They truely captured the moment PERFECTLY. We can't wait to see the rest of our photos and the video, we'll update this review on the video soon ;) read more

Robert and his crew were professional, always on time, and so creative with the looks and poses we did. Our short film was amazing and having him and his team capture our wedding day made it even more special. Pictures and DVD turned out fabulous!!! read more

I called Robert one week before our wedding because I didn't plan on getting a videographer. He said he already have projects on our wedding day but he gladly took it and gave me a good quote. He answered the phone immediately when I first called him, which is a good sign of good customer service. On the day of the wedding day, he was on time, very professional, respectful and very quiet. When we watched our video, he took good videos of a lot of scenes where we didn't even know he was there. Kinda like a quiet ninja, hah! We were impressed with his work, we liked the music he paired with our videos. Because our wedding was outdoor, he has a lot of background noise that he has to clean up. We also like the idea that he stands behind his work. He sent us the video and said he will edit some scenes if there are areas we don't like but we didn't feel like there needs to be edited and we are happy with the result so we recommend him to everyone. read more

I wasn't sure if I wanted to get a videographer but I'm glad that I did! I contacted Robert a week before my wedding and luckily he was available for our wedding day. He was really professional and our video turned out great! His prices were quite reasonable compared to others too! read more

First off we felt that Robert was a straight forward kind of guy. We trusted our wedding video to him because he said he would be there. Unfortunately, after we finished paying off our package we did not hear from him anymore. He text me a day before the wedding to get addresses and he did not even show up. He sent some other guy I had never even met. My wedding was in november 2011 and here I am, May 2012, waiting to hear from him on the progress of my video. I have called him several times and his mailbox is full. I would really just like my money back but unfortunately I can't reach him at all... read more

I found Godina Productions here on Yelp. Based on their excellent reviews and positive feed back, I gave Robert a call just a few days before my wedding. I had not initially planned or budgeted for a wedding videographer but as the day grew closer I knew I would regret it if I did not have one. I checked out Robert's website and sample videos online. They were beyond gorgeous. I looked over at least 20 other videographers websites from LA to OC but I kept coming back to Robert's. I called him the next day. He returned my call promptly and set up an appointment time. I explained my situation and how badly I wanted a videographer. Robert was beyond understanding, patient and willing to work with me.I felt very comfortable with him right away. He was available on my wedding date and had ironically enough shot a wedding at my venue the weekend before. This was an added plus. The day of the wedding, he was there on time. He worked well with my photographer and was very kind and gracious with my bridal party. Robert was extremely caring and professional. He even stayed an hour later than scheduled to gather more footage without me having to ask. About a week after my wedding he called me and told me that the video was completed. I could not believe this because normally it takes a couple of months to get it back and he initially told me that as well. When I got the video back, the front packaging and DVD were beautifully designed. The video and and quality of the work exceeded my exceptions. The wedding was shot in HD and looked amazing on my LED television. My husband and I were very pleased and our family members loved it. There were so many moments that I had forgotten and he was able to capture it perfectly. As the bride, there is so much of the wedding that you are not able to see (such as the ceremony) it was so special to be able to relive my magical day. I would strongly suggest to future brides to 1. get a videographer!!! If you don't you will regret it. 2. Book with Godina Productions!!! The wedding day is stressful enough. It is so important to have someone who truly cares about the wedding as much as you do. For these reasons I highly encourage future brides and Yelpers to book with Godina Productions. read more

When planning our wedding, pictures were the one thing that we didn't want to go cheap on. Godina Productions is not overpriced, in fact, I think for the quality of their work, they are a great deal. We were on the fence about videography, but once I saw their work, I was convinced I wanted video of our special day. I looked at several other photographers and videographers after seeing Robert's page, and nothing caught my attention and I kept going back to their page. I had my heart set on Godina Productions. So I called Robert, and he was very accessible and willing to go the distance to meet up with me. I had a meeting in Rosemead, and he was going to meet in the area, so he offered to meet me near my meeting so that it would be convenient. I met him and he was very friendly and professional. I saw some of his work and was convinced he was our guy. Godina Productions have several packages, and my suggestion is to go with one with more than one photographer and videographer. After seeing pictures that Robert and his team took of my friend's wedding a few weeks ago (yes, I've referred him to close friends!) I wish we would've had pictures of my husband and the guys getting ready too. Also, there were some awkward moments in the video where there is footage of the ceremony and our grand entrance where its just the stand alone camera filming. This could've been avoided if we would've had two people filming, rather than just one. We were also pressed for time as my husband forgot one our groomsmen's tuxedo and that made us an hour behind. Robert took this time and took pictures of me and my parents that I absolutely LOVE. This also distracted me and made me not think of what was going on with the preparations. This setback made us lose a lot of sunlight as our wedding was in an evening in May. Robert again stepped up to the plate and did as much as he could with the lighting we had. Showing his dedication to his craft and his professionalism. He showed up early, and left at the time agreed. They did an amazing job, and i will continue to refer people to Godina Productions. Again, the only thing that I would change would be our package. But we definitely got what we paid for and I was absolutely pleased with the outcome. Thanks so much Robert. read more

Robert and Francisco did an awesome job with our wedding photography. They took hundreds of shots throughout the day at the wedding venue at Callaway Winery, and took the time and care to make them look beautiful and artistic. There personalities also made us feel relaxed and comfortable, and kept us smiling, which is pretty hard to do when you have to try to hold that smile through so many shots! :-) The prints and photo album were also very well done and professional grade, and will provide us with lasting beautiful memories of that wonderful loving day with our friends and family. There were so many great shots that we are having a hard time deciding which ones to select for framing and hanging on the wall. We could end up nearly covering all our walls with them! read more

We were very happy with the high quality of work and the professional service we received from Robert. His fees were very reasonable and provided us with more features than his competitors. Godina Productions did an overwhelming amazing job. Watching the highlight film alone brought back all the memories of our special day. Robert is wonderful . We booked him for our upcoming wedding for both videography and photography as finding a company that did both was more Difficult than expected . Robert came highly recommended by multiple companies we had reached out to seeking both and were referred to Godina Productions. After our initial Meeting with Robert we decided to also book an engagement photoshoot . What a nightmare this has been , not on Roberts part but ours. From losing a stone in my ring and having to reschedule to my fiancé getting sent to Texas for search and rescue for the hurricane Robert has been more than accommodating in regards to rescheduling as having a fiancé whose a firefighter , scheduling stuff is very difficult. Robert has been more than awesome trying to work with us to get these photos done. Much appreciated ! read more

I had to change my wedding date a couple of times with Robert and he was very accommodating! The day of the wedding they were on time and dressed professionally. They were both very nice and made me feel very comfortable with taking so many pictures! My pictures turned out absolutely BEAUTIFUL! i was sooo happy with them. I also got them in a very timely manner. The same with the video. It turned out great and was delivered on time as promised. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Godina Productions was a great asset to our wedding day videography. We met with Robert about a year and a half prior to our wedding and received many follow ups from him until our wedding day, which was a plus. The initial video was good, but, the only thing that lacked throughout our business deal was meeting with him before it was finalized, which is why I give Godina Productions 4 stars. I would give 4 1/2 stars but yelp does not allow that. My wife and I are very busy and believe that going over the video before finalization would have saved us all some time. Being that it is their profession, we figured that the option of meeting up with Godina Productions prior to video finalization would have been offered but was not. I strongly believe, due to Roberts professionalism, that if a couple were to ask to meet before finalization, Robert would afford that option. So maybe it is our fault for not asking to meet with Robert prior to video finalization... Either way, when we asked Robert to make some changes that my wife and I did not like in the video, he did so at no extra charge and gave us new, edited DVD's. Overall, my wife and I were completely satisfied and would recommend Godina Productions, and, would use them again in the future. Thanks Robert. read more

After shopping around for a videographer for our daughters wedding, we decided to hire Godina Productions and we are so glad we did! From the very first phone conversation we new that this company was going to be a perfect fit. Robert was very professional and answered all our questions and was able to meet all our needs. His prices were great and I didn't feel taken advantage of. His work was amazing, from the time the wedding party was getting ready, through the ceremony and reception, Robert was able to capture every moment beautifully. We've watched the wedding video a few times now with friends and family and everyone complimented his work! THANK YOU Godina Productions! We hope to use you again soon. read more

We booked Godina Productions for our wedding and it was the BEST decision we made. We were hesitant about getting a videographer because of money but my parents insisted and I can't tell you how happy we are that we did! Robert was SO incredibly professional, he was there early, he was at all the right places throughout the wedding, and I never once had to give him any instruction (which is the last thing you want to be doing on your wedding day) he was a "fly on the wall". Robert made an unbelievably beautiful video - the end result absolutely blew us away and made everyone cry! Being in the video production business myself, I had high standards for Robert and he surpassed them because he is TRULY a professional. Robert set-up GoPros to get different unique angles, and he added moments I never would have thought of. Thank you Robert for making the best day of our lives something we can re-live over and over again! Love, The Campbells read more

Robert and his Team were AMAZING and a perfect fit for the energy my Husband and I were looking for! They were so polite and easy to work with. I found them online and communicated solely through email and a few phone calls due to me being stationed in the Central Valley. It was stressful enough to plan a wedding which the venue was 4 1/2 hours away but Robert was very understanding through the whole process! The day of my wedding when we finally met in person it was like we already knew each other. They were so professional and we are so happy with our Photography and video. Robert and his team exceeded our expectations they are damn good at what they do and the level of energy they bring is off the charts as well! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more

My issue with you Mr. Godina is that I was married almost 3 years ago and still have no wedding album..Which I PAID for.. nor do I have a refund that was promised to me and my lawyer. Unfortunately I wish the work on your site was truely a reflection of the work that you two do because that is why I hired you and was grossly dissappointed. The lack of professionalism on your part really left a sour taste and my mouth and trust me I have told everyone I know what I horrible nightmare experience I have had with you. I am only trying to warn other brides that the work you advertise as yours is not what you actually get unless you have some special shooter that happens to not be you or your wife. read more

Robert at Godina Productions was amazing! He was courteous, helpful, and more than willing to ensure I was comfortable with how his services would turn out on our wedding day. He was willing to discuss all of my desires and concerns - and had the answers for everything! On wedding day he was prompt, dressed appropriately, and I hardly even knew he was there (which is a good thing!). When the day was over, my bridesmaids and I were amazed. We joked about how we finally knew how all these reality tv stars were able to do it - when you are going about your day and you have good people behind the cameras, you can really forget they are there! LOL!! Godina Productions' prices are amazing, can't be beat... honest, call around! Then look at his work on his website... you can see my video highlight as well as many others. I'm in LOVE with my highlight video! His work is awesome. You can really tell he puts a lot of time into his editing. I did my research when looking for a videographer... down to the type of cameras used; I was completely happy and satisfied with how everything turned out! I know videography tends to be the service added only if budgets allow.... but I have to say, I truly recommend not only getting videography, but using Godina Productions! I'm so glad that I did!!! My husband and I had movie night the day we picked up the finished product from Robert. There were so many things we had forgotten had happened -- or didn't even realize happened! True, it's a lot to include in the budget; and true, you won't be watching the entire video often, but guaranteed you will be glad you did it when you get your finished video and get to see the entire day replayed... and so will your parents and loved ones! Overall, I honestly recommend at least making an appt to talk to Robert... I'm sure you will be happy with what you get from him. read more

My wedding 9/13/2014 If you want professional go somewhere else. Do not hire them!! My wedding was PERFECT until I received my video from Godina Productions. I'm not here to bash on Robert but my wedding video was a disaster. I will never get that day back ever and I'm so mad that I can't ever watch my video. It was blurry, cake cutting was not filmed because videographer filmed the ground instead of us. I can't tell you how hurt and upset I am till this day. I called Robert plenty of times for my pictures and video and never got a response. My husband tried calling and NOTHING!!! I didn't get my pictures till 7 months later and almost a year for my video!!!!! I had to take legal action and ended up in court. I know people make mistakes and not everything is perfect but as a professional business man Robert never told us that the video was a disaster and should have given us our money back which we paid in full prior to event. He sent us a video he edited and thought " maybe they wouldn't noticed it was a disaster" WRONG!!!! If you decide to use them and take your chances do not pay in full until you see final product. Till this day I have not been paid in full after being in court and winning my case and we are in April 2016. I'm going back for further legal action. People pay a lot of money and deserve what they pay for. I felt like I needed to write this and let you know what your getting into before you contract Godina Productions. read more

I must say that my experience with Godina Productions (Robert) was a very good one. Wow, we got suckered in by a great presentation he gave us, everything looked great as he tried to earn our business. I can honestly say that the money we paid was not worth the service we received! I think we have enough unhappy customers, I will be looking to file a class action lawsuit if this man does not return our calls soon! read more

Godina Productions provides great end results. That being said, load yourself up with a LOT of PATIENCE and be ready to HARASS them and to to pursue LEGAL ACTION because they will take FOREVER. Make sure you save every email and keep track of every phone call; you will need it in case you need to go to court. Upon your original meeting, make sure you meet at a place close to you so that you fall under your nearest court's jurisdiction. We paid for the most expensive package with photo and video because we thought it would be easier and faster to only deal with one person, boy were we wrong! Almost 2 years after our wedding we finally have our final package. Robert Godina would not meet deadlines he agreed upon and then would not reply to my emails nor return my phone calls until I finally had enough and began putting a case together against their company. I sent him a final email and left him one last voice mail informing him that if I didn't receive a response from him I would pursue legal action, and I was ready. Why did I contact him one last time? Per the court system, you have to request what is owed to you and inform them that a trial will begin if they fail to provide what is owed. Then suddenly he started replying to my emails and gave me a bogus excuse about "personal problems and family problems" to explain his lack of communication, which do not explain his lack of PROFESSIONALISM. I'm surprised he didn't tell me his dog ate the pictures! At first he started replying to every email as quickly as they were sent, then again he started slacking off, again giving a "personal problem" as an excuse. For all I know he was right, but it is hard to believe or trust someone who is very slow to communicate but is very quick to give 101 excuses. So then I decided to test him. One of my friends sent him a message letting him know she was interested in hiring him, and what do you know, he replied! In less than 24 hrs! When he's supposed to be having "personal issues" and is too busy to do the job that he was paid to do for me, he very quickly responded to an inquiry from someone else. Don't let the nice presentation, the highlight video, the photo montage, or anything else that sounds "nice" fool you. Like I said at the beginning, the end result is great, but it is NOT worth the price we paid, the time it took and the trouble we went through. I'm just glad I kept copies of every communication we had and was fully ready to face him in court. Don't believe Robert Godina when he says he's "professional", he does not know the meaning of that word. You're supposed to learn from your own experiences and trust me we did, and I hope you learn from ours. read more
