    Huge taco pizza
    Nellie B.

Agree with a recent reviewer. 5 Stars for an absolute blast from my past! I grew up with Godfather's in the Iowa City IA area, where I first tried my fave pizza, which is Taco. This one was not quite like the ones we had decades ago, but that didn't mean it wasn't deeeelicious! We were ordering up front, and I was looking at the menu for something to go with it; my Hubby said there's no way we were going to finish it, and the sweet girl at the counter smiled and said, "He's right." Well, he was, and three adults could only get down half of it. That's cool though, because we got to enjoy my nostalgia later that night.

    Classic combo

Five stars for nostalgia. Definitely order your pizza fresh or go for that buffet on a busy lunch run. We ordered the classic combo and it did not disappoint with piles of cheese, onions and meats.

The nostalgic set up down to its booths and architecture! such a flashback to my childhood.

A nostalgic place for those who grew up going to your local Godfather's. Many memories at mine from birthday parties to just a family pizza night. It still tastes like I remember it! Love it!

    Salad Bar with transparant tomato's
    David H.

This has to rank one of the worse restaurants in the valley. Over priced and under quality. The staff are only there for a paycheck. The place was remodeled, in 1970. It's old, dirty and it surprises me that they can maintain their health food permit. The lettuce in the salad bar had been frozen, which makes it transparent, and when we asked for fresh lettuce, 20 minutes later they dumped a load right on top of the bad lettuce. The tomato's were also spoiled and the baby carrots were brown. The egg was more like mashed potatoes. It's no wonder the place was empty when we walked in for a buffet dinner.

    Taco Pizza!

My friend family took us here for dinner before the hockey game. The name of this place really caught my attention. They have a pretty good selection of pizza to order from. They also have a buffet that includes salad bar as well for a reasonable price. Dinner was $11.15 I believe. On the buffet. They have a pretty large varieties of pizza, which includes pepperoni, Hawaiian, cheese, bbq chicken, and etc. They even have Jojo weird but I do love some Jojo. Not to mention, that there salad bar is fresh. A lot of toppings to pick and choose from. The price are cheap, the food are decent, service is good. Will be back here next time when I'm around town. :)

Since they have closed all the Godfather's pizza in the a Seattle area we have found one in Wenatchee and we stopped in on our way to Chelan! We ordered their taco pizza. We were able to sit inside and eat during COVID19 but you can take it to go. Pizza came out pretty quickly, about 15-20 min which is a normal cook time when you order a pizza. The pizza was hot and the toppings were fresh. It was as good as we remembered when we were able to get it in our area!

    Burnt pizza
    Gina B.

Dan Garcia, the owner refused to replace 2 burned, small, gluten-free pizzas that I paid over $40.00 for. I will never go back. It was awful. The order total was over $90.00 for 4 pizzas. This used to be my favorite.place in town.

We ordered cheese sticks that somehow managed to be both gummy and undercooked, fascinating !  The pizza itself? Think thin crust grocery store freezer aisle, but with a luxury price tag. We even tried to save it with chili peppers and Parmesan... no luck. Some things just can't be fixed. Also worth noting: the Parmesan and chili pepper shakers were weirdly sticky and handling them felt about as uncomfortable as the random child prom photos on the wall. It got worse. The grease soaked straight through the box and onto my pants, so now I smell like I lost a fight with a deep fryer. We tried to give most of the leftovers to a homeless guy outside... he politely declined, he had likely been offered before and leaned his lesson   Bonus points: the single-stall bathroom had a lock that looked like it had trust issues and a smell that suggested it hasn't been cleaned since last week. The overall vibe? Somewhere between awkward middle school prom photos and confusion .  Would not recommend unless you're craving disappointment, dry mouth and tummy aches

The porchetta was absolutely delicious, pork belly was done well and paired well with the rest of the ingredients, 5*. We got the charred brussel sprouts, but it was very charred and my wife almost wanted to ask for it to be remade. I didn't mind it too much, and just continued to eat (I was really craving for some cooked veggie), I finished majority of the portion so we didn't bother to ask for it to be remade. Our waitress was very nice, but there was a period where she disappeared (looked like she had her jacket on and went out to get something) and only asked us how the food were immediately after the food arrived and after we were pretty much done eating. Sadly, many of them have moved on. But some still remain, and encountering them again is exhilarating. I always look forward to the hugs and squealing laughter.--"...where did you go and what have you done...? We've missed you!" McGlinn's Alehouse is the place we spent most of our time for the first five years of our marriage. It was originally the Orondo Tavern, built in 1922 as a solid brick two-story commercial building in the small town rural American style--big, open storefront windows on the ground floor, and small offices and apartments on the second, with tiny windows surrounded in iron bar planters. Such buildings have long narrow internal staircases up the right side entrance--one you'd never access unless to lived in one of those vaults upstairs. I finally returned to McGlinn's tonight. I had been meaning to, long before this, but there was never any parking in front --many restaurants now have covered sidewalk-cabanas out front--a code violation waved during the COVID pandemic. Inside, the left wall is still that half-block-long cabinet of all the liquor bottles you can imagine, multiplied in depth by the mirrors behind them. Down the middle of the room is one long continuous table that seats 14 people on a side--yes, strangers sit together. At the very back wall there is still, the largest brick open-hearth wood-burning oven you'd ever bake a leg of lamb and two pizzas in, at the same time. And down the right side-wall were six wooden tables-of-four, all sealed in a hard resin clear coat, as shiny and clean as they were vintage and rustic. I sat in the first chair at the first table, my back to the stairway down to bathrooms in the basement below the sidewalk. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Tim's chips, a departure from the "John Paul Bacon Burger with pickled onions (McGlinn's is famous for). Ask to sit in Sadie's section--she's been there 20 years. McGlinn's has been there 34 years! What's not to like about an old friend! -------== ##### ==-------
