We have had Godfathers in Oklahoma City so we thought we'd give this one a try. Our Daughter in Love talked us into the taco pizza. It was a winner for us as well...it was unusual enough but a cool blend of tastes that we didn't hate it right away...we also loved that the toppings were put on first and then the cheese, very Chicago style. The cheese was delicious and quality in that it was stringy without going salty as the pizza cooled...and the sauce was the perfect blend of sweet and spice that we love...and there was lots of it...we also got their supreme pizza and it was completely loaded, so they definitely didn't scrimp on the toppings...the crust is a little thicker than a hand tossed but it was cooked all the way through which was awesome so we didn't mind the thicker crust...all in all a great pie for the buy...we bought it to go so it was cooled quite a bit when we got it to the house so definitely not hot enough to burn your face off but still we will eat here again...the service was phenomenal and as I didn't pick up the order couldn't tell you how cute the restaurant was...but we did enjoy the pizza a great deal... read more

We have received Godfathers delivery for many years now and very often have the same delivery person. Steve is such a nice guy, and our dog loves his visits. Haha. He even remembers our dogs name. I will start off by saying, I am well aware this is a first word issue. However, the customer service I just received was abhorrent. I have lived in Nixa for 24 years. I have frequented Godfather's Pizza countless times. Today at 12:32 I used 1,000 points for a free cheese stick and then also ordered a small pizza. I had trouble with the website as it continued to kick me off and ask me to sign in again. I had to click on delivery several times as well. I finally ordered the items and received an e-mail confirmation. An hour went by and no pizza. I called and was told they were having problems with their new website and that I would have to come pick it up as it was marked carryout (vs the manager sending a delivery driver to make things right). The young lady informed me she would tell her manager to see what he could do for me. Fair enough, things happen. I was expecting to get my cheese sticks and pizza with, perhaps 10% off. After all, I tipped 15% to the delivery driver without it being delivered. After getting changed and driving to the opposite side of town, I arrived and picked up one item: the pizza; no cheese sticks. I showed them the email as proof that 1,000 points were used towards them. They would not make them for me as the manager had told them not to. Then, I was expected to do more work (other than getting the pizza myself) and call corporate to see IF I could get coupons towards cheese sticks. Of course, I am sure the answer would be no. So as I am eating my pizza, which now tastes like leftovers since an hour and a half has gone by, I am left knowing that they can keep my remaining points. I will never order from Godfather's Pizza again. This is such a poor business practice. read more

Went for the lunch buffet and the food was excellent. The buffet had a great selection and fresh pizzas were always coming out despite how busy it was. They made the special pizza I requested quickly and the staff was very friendly. The woman who came out to our table cleared the dishes, offered to get us refills, and offered to bring out to-go drinks! Very reasonably priced and they have really stepped up keeping the dining area clean! read more

Today I decided to give it another try, and OH MY GOD WAS IT A GREAT IDEA!!! I went to Godfathers Pizza after seeing the rave reviews for everyone of them nearby me. It was delicious, tons of options, great atmosphere, and games for when you get bored of eating their wonderful buffet. I even saw an employee take a little girl back into the arcade to 'talk to the mean boy' that was hogging a game and got her a turn. We regularly order from Godfather's Pizza in Nixa (1890 N. Deffer Dr., Nixa, MO 65714), once every couple of weeks. For Father's Day, we made our normal order that included a Dessert Strussel Pizza on thin crust. We've ordered it this way for years. The girl that answered the phone told us that it wasn't on the menu that way. We let her know that we always order it with thin crust and it has never been a problem. When we picked up our order, it was wrong. We called to explain the incorrect dessert pizza. Even though the manager said that it was a miscommunication on THEIR part, they wouldn't correct the pizza by giving us what we wanted at no charge to us. The most they would do is give us 20% off another one. Very short-sighted business decision! Bad customer service decision because you lost our regular ordering and a loyal long-term customer. Very foolish decision because we will take our business elsewhere! There are lots of pizza places in our area that will appreciate our regular orders. In addition, we've gone to Godfather's Pizza in Nixa and it is very dirty. We quit going there in-person and made regular pick-up orders. Skip Godfather's Pizza Nixa and go to another place that is clean and values their customers. read more

Terrible pizza, but good salad bar. If you are a pizza connoisseur, go somewhere else. In fact, pizza from Casey's across the street at the gas station is better. We had a thin crust taco pizza and a thin crust ham and mushroom pizza. They take the lazy way of making a thin crust pizza by using the premade, precooked cardboard then crust that you order from a food supply company, then they just put toppings on it and run it through the oven. The crust is tastless and flimsy. The mozzarella has zero taste as well. Just cheap plastic mozzarella. The pizza sauce is very dark and reminds me of stuff that comes out of a can and is nothing special. The salad bar is actually really good. You can choose between iceberg lettuce, fresh spinach or mixed green salad. The toppings options for the salad are great (bell peppers, olives, bacon, cucumbers, red oinions, etc..). But the pizza (at least thin crust) is absolutely horrible. We have had frozen pizzas that are 5x better than this place. read more

I love good pizza, so I try every pizza place I pass to see who's got what. This place looks like they set up a buffet style deal with salad. Salad & salad toppings looked good in the buffet, but I had a "To Go" order so I didn't try the salad. I had an original crust with pepperoni & mushrooms. The sauce was above average good. A lot of other places have a rather bland sauce, but this has pretty solid flavor to it. The cheese was good. If you let it cool for a minute and picked up the slice properly, then the cheese & toppings won't slide off all at once. The mushrooms were mushrooms, so pretty much on par there. I did really like the pepperoni. The last pizza place I hit up had pepperoni that tasted really heavy on the pork, like a spiced up fatty ham; but I really appreciated the pepperoni on this pizza. Gotta say, I would say this place was pretty awesome, but the dough killed it. No flavor. Very bland. I believe it had reasonable consistency between softer doughy interior and lightly crispy outer crust, it was just the lack of flavor that killed the chance for a 5 star rating. Overall, I'd give the pizza 3.5 stars because of the dough (hey, it's a big part of the flavor!); but since that's not an option, I'll give 'em 4 stars cause the guy behind the counter was pretty cool so bonus because of awesome customer service. read more

I'm not sure what the deal was when I ate here a couple of weeks ago, but just about every thin crust/regular crust piece of pizza was burnt on the top and extremely dry. I find it puzzling because I've had good takeout from this place before. I was greatly disappointed as I was told that this place had a good buffet. And, why are all of the pieces so small? The only thing that I found pretty decent was the selection of desserts, which were pretty good. I drove from Springfield just to eat here, and left feeling a bit hosed. I probably won't be giving the buffet another try, as they seem to be putting their best efforts into individually purchased pizzas, exclusively. read more

Pizza is amazing, especially their humble pie and their cherry dessert pie. Not a fan of their thin crust but their original crust is awesome. Only using 5 stars to be seen... Drove 50 miles to take my mother to a late mothers day dinner to this nixa location. My mom parked her brand new $50,000 truck in the back corner away from all vehicles and took two spaces for fear of damage only to find an employee (Nikki) took it apon her self to teach my mom a lesson by parking her POS Mitsubishi less than a foot away from her driver's door to where she couldn't even enter her truck. When confronted she replied with a cocky smerk and an fu smile that she'd done it on purpose cause it was her parking space. My mom ended up leaving in tears and feeling terribly disrespected. Today when I called Michael was very rude to me. I used to order pizza for my staff as well as picking up pizza to go and the occasional visit. It doesn't take much to lose a customer when you're very rude to them and today Michael accomplished that. Some of the best pizza in this area. I love thier thin crust and they keep a large selection out for the lunch buffet. Salad bar is as good as most. They have dessert pizzas, ice cream, cookies, etc. A real bargain for lunch, which is the only time I have been there. read more
