A second was almost burnt, definitely over cooked. The third pizza was made incorrectly. They gave it to us for free and made the correct one. Unfortunately it didn't arrive at the table until everyone else was done eating. This is three visits in a row that one of our pizza wasn't made correctly or made at all. Part of our group didn't want to come because of past issues. I guess we are really done now. Too bad, the actual pizza is the best in town when made correctly.

I was sad to find out that they discontinued all eggplant dishes, so no more eggplant pizza and no more eggplant Parmesan. The spinach goat the pizza on thin crust was delicious and super garlicky, but I love the garlic! I added Italian sausage because, duh! :) the Sicilian pizza has all the Italian cold cut such as capicola, salami, pepperoni, and pepperoncini's! This restaurant on Battlefield Road is always busy and full of families and a vibrant bar area. They are kept hopping with carry out orders too. The children love watching the pizzas makers tossing pizzas through the viewing window. Even though they were busy, our food came out in a very timely manner, and our drinks were never empty. Our particular "go to" is the toasted Italian sandwich toasted with extra ham and a side salad - also love the calzone - pizzas are a can't miss too. We split whatever we order and I hate splitting food - but there is so much food in a "split convert." Still taking home this much sandwich (see pic). The owner is always available for a nice chat about sports and the staff is super friendly and professional.

Naturally, nostalgia and small batch beer collided, and we ended up at the counter like it was a drive-thru confessional. I proceeded to interrogate the poor cashier like she was auditioning for Top Chef: Roast Beef Edition. "Does the sandwich touch the au jus or merely graze it?" "Is the bacon smoked, or just emotionally distant?" God bless her... She answered every question like a seasoned diplomat. My long-lost friend chimed in, "You reviewing the menu or writing a Yelp exposé?" and I laughed so hard Coca-Cola shot out of my nose. Actual fizzy tears. 10/10 would nose-spray again. The food?
