Generally, goPuff is fine. They come in a reasonable amount of time, the app is a huge variety (I could not leave my apartment for weeks thanks to goPuff), I've never had a rude delivery person, and they've only messed up my order once- I ordered Halo Top and they brought me Breyer's, which isn't a big deal, expect I wanted to be able to eat a whole pint and not feel bad. They did not refund me or replace the Halo Top. I wish the app was better. When you order Postmates or Uber Eats, you see where your delivery person is on the road, so you can know right when they'll be there. This is very helpful for a high-rise building. But goPuff says it'll be "10-40" or "20-60" minutes. They need to work on getting a better estimated time. read more

I ordered ice cream, a salty snack and two drinks, and it came to around $11 before tip with no delivery fee. I feel that's fare and is about what I would have spent at the store. And it's a cold Chicago night, so totally worth it. BEST PART: I made the mistake of not updating my current address. I was too late changing it on the app and the delivery driver called me. I apologized and explained myself. The driver was completely nice and contacted the manager, who then called me. He was very polite, told me not to worry and would send out my order with another driver. They handled it well and didn't get upset with my error. I will order again. read more

I am not going to lie as soon as I discovered goPuff I have been using it very frequently, at least 2-3 times a week. The delivery usually arrives in 30-45 mins and there have only been 2 incidents where they have not sent an item; both times I ordered a Toblerone. One day I will receive that elusive bar of delicious swiss chocolate. My only complaint is that I would have appreciated a phone call explaining said item was not available verse just showing up without it. I just don't care enough to call them and deal with what I can only assume will be a frustrating customer service interaction for a $2 candy bar. The way I see it if they forget something it is just incentive to get off my fat ass and go to the store so I can physically grab it myself, haha. It was like they froze the whole bag to keep the ice cream cold but the candy was all hard and could not enjoy right away. What's the point then? I thought I would be saving time because it is advertised as a 30 minute delivery service. But it took over twice as long as expected and the food could not be enjoyed right away. Go puff is the best!!! Delivery is like 5 dollars, its quick, and they have every snack you could ever imagine. Heck, they even have TV mounts! But seriously, as I scroll through the go puff pages, it's genuinely hard to decide what I want because it's like all my favorite snacks and candies x1000. GoPuff treated me unfairly I was blacklist and my account was a closed and goPuff were rude and I apologized and I order there a lot and there was a misunderstanding and they blocked me and I apologize several times. I did not ask for any refund to my account. I called in about my order respectfully and did not know they was going to refund me. My account was black listed twice and permanently. They messed up my order and I ordered 4 rows of single rows of toilet paper and it was not as described I lost my points and my account was closed. They made two three charged to my account. I've used this service a handful of times, and I'm done with it after tonight! What's nice is that the delivery fee is somewhat reasonable for a courier service. In the age of $12 PostMates delivery, theirs isn't horrible. I've never had an issue with time. It's always been delivered within a 30-minute window, and the "tracker" is usually pretty accurate. So, why one star? For one, the app interface is a bit of a mess. Sometimes my cart will say I have nothing in it when I try to check out, and I clearly have three items. I've placed orders for something only to have it canceled 10 minutes later, because they're "out of an item". They have obscure regional beers occasionally listed, and when I try to add them to my cart, they say, "Sorry, we don't sell this in your area". I try the same thing for a local beer, and I get the same message! I've had to reboot the app a couple times for these glitches. The nail in the coffin has been their delivery people. They make GrubHub look like Mother Theresa. I've only had very rude and very lazy people show up to my door. I had one guy deliver three of my orders. He'd *always* call me from his car. I'd go to buzz him in, and meet him at the front door and had to wait a couple more minutes before he got out of his car! Tonight was the worst example of this. The delivery woman called me, and we had this exchange. Me: Hello? Her: Hi, GoPuff Me: Ok, great! I'll let you in. *hang up* I hit the buzzer. Nothing. I checked outside my window and saw a car idling, but no one getting out...I wait another 30 seconds and call her back. Her: Hello? Me: Hi, are you at the door? Her: No. I tried to tell you I wasn't at the door, but you hung up on me. *silence* Her: I'll call you when I get to the door. Me: Ooookaaayyy then..... UGHHHH!! Why did you call me in the first place if you're planning to sit in your car?! She waited three more minutes after that call to finally get out of her car and come to my door. Tried this service for the first time several weeks ago. Simple order of a couple candy items and a couple salty snacks. Took well over an hour to receive, keeping me up later than I anticipated. I could have easily walked to a 24-hour convenience store in that amount of time, thus defeating the entire purpose of the service. They market heavily that they deliver in 30 minutes. My last order took literally 2 hours (no exaggeration). When I emailed customer support they didn't respond until the next day even though they claim they have 24/7 support. Their support apologized for the tardiness and offered me a free candle or headphones. I can't even make this stuff up. So disappointed. Some times things happen, but my other order again took over 30 minutes and the chips were stale. I would love to know how many users use gopuff more than a couple times. A horrible customer experience. I ordered my stuff at 10:15 am and here it is 12:20 pm and no delivery yet. I called customer service twice and each time they told me it would be 20 minutes. If you don't have the staff to deliver the order in a reasonable amount of time, then don't accept the order! I could've walked the one-mile round trip to Walgreens four times by now and gotten what I needed. Instead. I'm stuck waiting here because they keep saying it's going to be 20 minutes. Gopuff is OK. Generally they get everything right and are super fast and friendly. Every now and then they'll forget and item or 2, or they won't get out of their car to actually deliver the order. But most of the time it's ok. One thing that is horrible, is contacting customer service. When I am missing an item I'll be lucky if someone answers my call and even then whoever answers usually acts like I shouldn't be calling over one forgotten item. I heard of go puff from a friend and decided to place an order on a random weekday. I ordered about five items and spent $50. The driver arrived about 20 minutes after the quoted timeframe. 2 of the products appeared to be damaged because of the way that the driver was handling them. Right after the delivery driver handed me my goods, I realize that part of the order was wrong. I called him back and told him and he told me that there is nothing that he could do and that I had to call the office. While calling the office I realize that literally only one of the items that I had ordered was correct; literally everything else was wrong. To be fair to them, they offered to send out another delivery driver with the right order to rush replace my items. At this time about an hour had passed and I asked if there was anything else they could do for me because this was such an inconvenience. The woman offered me five dollars, which is the same as the sign-up bonus. At that point I was very frustrated and asked her to just send somebody to pick the stuff up because it wasn't worth my time anymore; I've wasted a full hour of my time and am having to do too much to get what I paid for and $5 isn't worth my time either. They didn't come and pick the stuff up until about two hours later. I still have not received my refund and and pursuing a chargeback. Ordered from here first from grubhub. They were out of an item and they gave me a call for a replacement, I wasn't happy with it at first. They made up for it though, they had sent me a free bag of chips. Delivery took about 20 minutes. After that I started using their app, they have been adding products constantly and the deliveries take 15-25 minutes for most of the time beside a few times which I got notified for the delays. I love their service and their friendly attitude. Keep up the good work, I'll be ordering more and more specially now that winter is around the corner. read more

After 11:22pm I called customer service and they said the order was waiting at the warehouse, and they were just waiting for a driver to come and get it. They couldnt give me an ETA. So I give it one more chance today -I left explicit instructions to buzz into my building when they arrive as there is no point in having a delivery service if the don't complete delivery. You definitely have to add anywhere from an hour to two to the quoted delivery time. It sucks that you can't update address directions, as I had to wait outside for almost an hour to make sure the delivery guy didn't ring my downstairs neighbors bell at almost midnight. So I ordered from here yesterday with no problems, other than them having 2 of the three candles I asked for, which wasn't an issue for me. The driver got here within the 30 minute mark and I was amazed. I place an order for today and within 5-10 minutes I get a call from a gentleman who told me that I am outside of the delivery zone. He continued by saying that because someone delivered to me yesterday, he would deliver to me today but it would take a while. I see this as very inconvenient and very unprofessional. I bragged about this company on social media and made a huge hype about them so my friends and family could try them out.
