OMG no, don't do it no matter how desperate/hungry you may be. Hell, even if you are starving and it is a 2-mile walk each way uphill in the snow you should just start walking. In case all of the other reviews aren't enough to sway you: many things are sold out, you will have no idea as to when your delivery will actually show up, and even when it does you may find your food with an expiration date of the day you ordered. If the shelf life of something is a good 7-8 months (crackers), why deliver food that has been sitting in your warehouse all year??? Have you started walking??? read more

goBrands Boston - Just delivered today, trust me when I say they were probably better 7 months ago! - Food Delivery Services Near Me

My first experience with GoPuff was legendary, I placed order through app and by the time I stood up, walked to my door outside and smoked less than half my cigarette before GoPuff arrived for delivery (NOTE: unbeknown to me they are located at top of my little side street). Quick and Correct - All 17 items were correct. My first order went so well that I may have set unreal expectations. I've ordered their service 3 times so far and overall I'm very happy and will most likely continue to use........but let me put that in context, I say most likely b/c some of their items have great prices (when on sale) making it well worth the $2 Delivery Charge Plus Tip (I'll get into that shortly), typically it looks like this is the vaporizers/grinders/lighters/etc you get the idea (although this could be more of competitors have ridiculously high prices than GoPuff itself but regardless still very cool Of them not to gouge customers like all others), otherwise their prices are typical maybe a little better than normal plus you have the ease of delivery until 4:20AM (seems ideal for someone in college or a recent grad). The only issue for me was one experience when the driver came with no change (in an attempt to receive a larger tip???), 2 incorrect products (both were the right thing just the wrong flavor), one of which I was notified of and given the option to not take (before I even noticed which is great!) and another that was just incorrect but I did order 23 items so by no means the end of the world. I guess this is part of a larger issue where GoPuff itself charges $1.95 for Delivery & they provide a spot for Tip when ordering (great for CC payers), nice and simple!!!.....the issue I have is feeling as though the deliver drivers were looking for an additional tip or they were unaware of tips provided when paid OR maybe this is just me??? read more

goBrands Boston - GoPuff Lighter Free with 1st Delivery (I think???) - Food Delivery Services Near Me

See all

I tried GoPuff again after not a very good test drive. It is still awful. The delivery man (different guy) refused AGAIN to come inside my apartment to deliver my stuff. It was freezing cold and he didn't even agree to meet in the library. When I met him, he basically threw the food at me. Too bad it was all wrong. There are no excuses anymore. Higher more drivers, take care of your management, or close up shop. Something is not working. read more

SERVICE IS AWFUL - I have had order mix ups every time I've purchased the service, and tonight my driver showed up late - only to tell me he didn't have my order at all. I'm so annoyed at this point. reliable is the LAST word I would use to describe this service, and I've given them several chances - 5 of which have been messed up in some way. #gopuff #nopuff read more

Probably my favorite ordering place in town. GoPuff and goBrands is a great way to get on demand delivery around Boston, and their $2+ delivery rate is ideal. The food that is available to order is great, and the app is very user friendly. They are also always throwing in free drinks or food with your order, which makes ordering more fun. But there are some problems with GoPuff and goBrands, their prices are not the best on the market, and sometimes you are better off ordering Postmates or going to a nearby corner store. Their drivers are not always fast and speedy, and most of the time are very slow at getting to your home or area you are ordering at, which makes a big problem when you are ordering to eat or snack. GoPuff also has a really bad on demand order price, $14 on top of the $2+ delivery fee and more fees sometimes makes a $6 order at a corner store $19, which is a major problem. GoPuff is superior when ordering snacks or the occasional household need, but I would never depend on them when you are in a hurry needing a snack, I have waited over 2 hours outside before, but I have also waited 30 mins warm under my covers, so you can either have a great experience or a terrible experience. If I could give GoPuff and goBrands Boston a 2.5 I would, but for now they slide off with 3 stars read more

I love the idea, and they recently improved their website design which is a good sign. The late night delivery fills a niche that I very much occupy, so I applaud their efforts and if anything want them to grow and increase their menu, especially of munchies! So because of their idea, and the online side of their implementation, I'll give them 2 stars. But there's a hell of a rant coming up. Because as it stands, I feel like Boston is a neglected region for them. I keep stubbornly trying to give them my business, week after week, and each time it's a gamble if I'll actually get my order. One time they just weren't open for some reason, though the order was accepted online. Another time the driver was THREE hours late past his estimated delivery time, at like 4 in the morning when I had fallen asleep. One time when the order never showed up I was charged anyway, and had to wait two days to get a response from GoPuff about getting my money back. I mean, first they offered to send me my order two days late but throw in some free shit as an apology, and I said sure why not... but then that delivery never showed up either... I just placed an order at 1:35pm. The confirmation email displayed a null error where the predicted delivery time was supposed to be, but past emails have timed the delivery to my address at 30 to 45 minutes. I got the order at 3:30. But you know what? I'm just happy I didn't have to go to the store. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. I've been using goPuff since it was first introduced to the area about 4-5 years ago. Things have gone outrageously down hill since then. The whole concept of goPuff was to be able to get smoking supplies (think papers, grinders, hookah supplies) and snacks delivered within 30 minutes. They no longer sell anything smoking related, besides a lighter. And unless you want to wait 9-10 hours for a delivery that will never come no matter how early you order, it's not worth the time or energy. The last 3 times I ordered, I never received my items and never got a refund. I will be deleting the app and telling people I know to do the same. read more

DO NOT USE THIS APP! On my very first experience they took more money off of my card than I was supposed to be charged for, and the email customer service isn't helpful or responsive. Plus, the telephone customer service team just makes everything harder for you and is also unhelpful. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY OR BUSINESS - seems like a total scam. read more

Ambience: N/A - delivery service Service: Delivery was very fast. Food: Although the products they advertise are not always in stock, the hours and delivery speed are very impressive. Overall Rating: This delivery service earns 4 out of 5 stars. This food delivery service is very well run and offers a ton of variety. Again as I have mentioned above, their inventory is not always up to date but they still offer name brands products and at an affordable price. . read more

10 hours later and my order was still being "packed". Called goPuff and was told they have over 500 deliveries and no drivers and to just wait. 10 hours later and still no update to my status . Long story short, I won't be using goPuff anymore . 7/11 has a new app !! read more

Perfect. This is such a good idea. I had a late night craving for some candy, and they delivered my order right to my door. Was the easiest thing ever. Will definitely hit these guys up again. goPuff or go home. read more

My first experience with goPuff was good. After tonight, I don't think I'll ever use them again. The website scrambles the delivery address, so instead of reading "123 Main St, Apt, 45," it will say "45, Main St." The driver called me several times because he was confused as to where I lived (thanks, website). By the time he figures it out and I get my delivery, the ice cream is MELTED and the milk isn't cold, or the brand I ordered. Between it taking over an hour and getting damaged/incorrect items, I'm not using goPuff ever again. Not worth the wait, the overpricing, the frustration, or the $3.95 delivery fee. Who would buy melted ice cream, seriously. __________________________________ UPDATE (3/24/2016) GoPuff reached out, apologized for the error, credited my account for the items, and was generally wonderful in its customer service. I'm told they're also working on the website address issue. WILL use them again. read more

Got a Groupon to try this out. They said they delivered to my location, but got a call soon after I placed my order that, indeed, they don't. They do part of my zip code, but not all of it. So they cancelled my order, told me I'd see my refund in 3-5 business days. A week later, nothing. I contact them again, and upon further research, they found that they had indeed cancelled my order, but actually failed to initiate the refund? Seriously? So I finally got that worked out. So, thus far they've proven themselves completely inept. They say they deliver in Boston...but they don't do a large chunk of the city (particularly the areas that don't have direct subway lines). Most of JP, South End, Roslindale, Hyde Park, Dorchester, Roxbury...you get my point. Why don't you guys just say "hey! We serve the areas where all the college kids live! We don't care about the rest of you!" read more

I thought 30 minutes or less sounded too good to be true. 2 hours later I'm still waiting for a snack but now I'm beyond snack hungry and wish I just ordered from a restaurant so it would be cheaper, cooked, and here by now. read more

So called 30 minute delivery. And it has been 2 hours and I still haven't got my delivery. I understand it's weekend night and things might be kinda slow. But 2 hours is just too much a stretch. read more

Horrible customer service, put on hold for "hours", order got lost and took almost FOUR hours to get here. Talked to them many times - they didn't even offer a refund, and when we asked, they only gave us the $4 refund for the delivery fee. Second time it's been super late from this place. I'm sure it doesn't speak for every city gopuff though read more

Amazing! Great selection, late night, free delivery when you spend $30, and they came within the stated window (50-60min). Website is easy to use. Also got a few free samples which was dope. I'm definitely a fan. read more

I just placed my first order today and was very happy with their options. I got my order within 30 minutes as promised. After i had eaten my food i noticed they delivered the wrong ice cream flavor. I called and it was very easy to get them to send someone out to change the flavor. This time it took an hour. The guy left and i went inside. HE GAVE US THE SAME ICE CREAM (the wrong flavor). So now it is nearing 1 am and i am ready to go to sleep, but have to wait up potentially another hour for my correct flavor. This is RIDICULOUS! read more

I decided to use goPuff when I saw their advertisement of 30 min late night delivery. To my dissatisfaction that turned into a 2h delivery which makes it the same (or worse) as any other late night delivery service available but at a steeper price for their products. I just can't understand how can you build your business on false advertising. read more

In comparison to other convienience store delivery services, the only bonus to them is that they are open later and are friendly....however,delivery time is terrible. They are about six minutes away and always take almost an hour and a half to two hours to deliver. Its not like they are waiting for food to be cooked/prepared, so I'm not sure why it takes so long. They also have fewer menu options in comparison to other places. I feel like basically they make their money in those couple hours where people are desperate for munchies and no one else is open. read more

Gopuff didnt disappoint me in Boston either. I Was staying in a hotel away from downtown (Brighton), and still got delivered. There are less products and what sucks is that they are not 24/7 in Philly. Please Gopuff, we need you in the morning as well!! read more

Only thing of it's kind. Delivers absurd snacks all night long - tons of throwback candy. They always have fun promos. Fast delivery

Just beware that the "30 minute delivery" statement doesn't really apply to Boston. I was told by a worker on the phone after waiting an hour and a half without it even going out for delivery that Boston only has two drivers and one manager so it's not actually guaranteed to be there in 30 minutes, even though that's how it's advertised everywhere. They shouldn't advertise as being 30 minutes somewhere they know that can't be fulfilled due to staffing. read more

Do not get the "Starbucks Vanilla Frap" they will bring you the "Starbucks Iced coffee" instead! For those of you who like the Frap but not the iced coffee it's a big difference! I blamed my boyfriend the first time this happened, I thought he ordered the wrong item so this time I placed the order myself and sure enough they gave me the Iced coffee instead of the Frap. NOT ONLY was it iced coffee but the flavor was wrong too .. Caramel not vanilla. I was very disappointed! They also got my boyfriends and roommates ORDER WRONG too by giving different candies then what they wanted! I loved this idea and great concept but if you have a craving for something particular and don't get exactly what you wanted it's not cool. However they were super speedy but I advise you to LOOK IN THE BAG and make sure they got the right stuff before they go! read more

Hilarious videos from their facebook page led me here. I've always been a big takeout guy but this takes it to another level. The amount of times I've waited forever to get pizza or wings late night.. Brutal. I've ordered twice now in Brighton MA, 25 min and 35 min I was shocked when they called that soon. And they're selection puts my convenience store down the hill to shame for 2 bucks flat delivery fee. Frozen/ice cream selection is bomb, but oddly enough, the bottle of ketchup, carton of milk, and bar of soap were the clutch finds when I kept digging into the menu and needed them the most at the worst time of day read more

Omg I was forced to switch to this company once my favored delivery service was acquired by goBrands and it has been one disappointment after another. To see there online customer service cues are always high which makes me think that people are having issues with their orders. My final straw was ordering ice cream from them. It's something they advertise constantly that you would think they know how to deliver it correctly. Big mistake on my part the ice cream arrived completely melted and I simply asked for a refund back since i had to throw out what I purchased. There customer service is absolutely horrible and I will be cooking in a lot more since I won't be ordering from GoPuff or GrubHub ever again. read more

Would give less than one star if possible. Ordered plan b at around 2 am. Said would take 20-40 mins. Has been two hours. Kept "delaying order" by 5 minute intervals... completely dishonest and I would rather just be told upfront if the delivery was impossible. Cancelled order and now I have the joy of waking up at 7 to go buy it myself (it is now 4 am). Hope I don't fail my midterms because of this... thanks a lot GoPuff! read more

I wish I could give this zero stars. GoPuff was extremely late, and the delivery charge was not cheap. I do not plan on using GoPuff again.

I was up in Boston visiting some friends and they told me about this interesting app called gopuff. At first I was skeptical and am usually tentative when it comes to these delivery services, but after coming back from a night out, the cravings got the best of me and I decided to try it out. I was shocked by the variety of items and pleasantly surprised by the service. I ordered Ben & Jerry's as well as some chips and drinks. It came within 20 minutes and the delivery driver was very nice. Definitely recommend the service to anyone in Boston and will be using it any time I go up there. read more
