After passing the Goat Milk Stuff billboards and signs every time I head north on I-65, I finally got the chance to stop and check it out. It's really easy to get to GMS right off the interstate, and it's about as quaint as you could imagine. I pulled into the parking lot, past a large, fenced-in pasture filled with -- you guessed it -- goats! And I started in the front building, right off the parking lot, which sells goat milk soaps and other wonderfully scented products. The walls were lined with soaps of so many scents. I ended up going with two to give as gifts. I was impressed with the price too: $6 each. They also carried lotion and other skin care products. Next I went around back to the other building, where the food is kept. The delicious, delicious food. Here you'll find gelato, yogurt and cheese as well as great options for lunch. When I stopped the special was pizza. I wish I would have had enough time to eat, but instead I bought some of the chevre goat milk cheese and feta marinated in herbs de Provence to bring home with me. I LOVE this spot. I visited on a road trip between Indy and Louisville (several years ago, pre-covid) and the signs on the road were impossible for me to ignore. BB GOATS! Cheese! Fun!! I immediately pulled over. First off, there's a great store with tons of different offerings - cheeses, dips, ice creams? (I think), soaps, etc. Everything is made on the farm and just of such a fresh and high quality. Secondly, there's a fun little tour that includes going to see all the bb goats as well as taste tests of the different cheeses and dips. This is suuuuch a worth it stop to pull over when you're driving by, at least it will be when they're open again! read more

I was first introduced to Goat Milk Stuff at the Yelp's 2018 Art in Action. As soon as I had a taste of that pineapple jalapeno dip... it was love at first taste. Our Yelp bags also had a bar of Goat Milk Stuff's soap. The particular flavor I had was 'Love Spell(or Potion)'... something Love. That furthered my love for Goat Milk Stuff because it was a love fest every time I took a shower with that soap. It wasn't long after that that I made the trip up the interstate to check the place out. They have a goat farm, a store, and food. The regular store sells soaps, lip balm, candles, shirts, deodorant, and many other things. The food store has all kinds of things. Cheeses. Milk. Jams. Salsas. They also serve lunch! You can also take tours and see their goats. Fun fact! They also have goat cams on their website! It's truly a one-stop shop for all of your goat needs. I could go on and on about my love for that pineapple jalapeno jam but that would make me look sheepish... and we're talking about GOATs here! Stopped in off Exit 29 A coming from Columbus, Indiana hitting breweries. Got my wife some great smelling lavender soap made with goats milk in the first building by parking lot. Sweets and postcards are found in the second building with restrooms. Free cheese or fudge samples with Yelp check in couldn't get mine as the two brothers were quite busy dishing out ice cream. It was funny to see the brothers interacting with each other while trying to get the masses their treats. They also have a freezer full of different meats I assume are from the farm. They mailed my postcards I bought after I put my stamps on in the first building. Go ahead and get five it's a better deal than 2 or 3 one of the brothers told me that day. read more

This place is really cool !!!!!!!!!!!! I must admit I was very hesitant about going. My son had been wanting to go (who is 15 yrs old) and I thought it was for little kids only. So, like most parents, I gave in after 2 yrs of him bugging me to take him. I called to get their hours and find out a little bit about it. It's best to make reservations, so that's what we did. When we got there we checked in and everyone waited in the gift shop for our tour time. Our tour guide comes out (who was a young kid) more on that later. So off we went, onto the tour. 1sr he explained what the place was all about, where they came from and how they ended up where they are now. I was impressed because this young kid was full of information and good with a group of people. Come to find out, he has been doing this most of his young life. This place is a 100% family owned and operated goat farm with areas for soap making as well as a small restaurant. Our tour guide has done it all here and will the rest of his life. We toured the soap making facilities and learned all about that process along with the shipping that they do all over the world. Next was the goat farm. That was very informative as well. We learned all about all the different goats, the milking process and the dog that guarded a group of goats. At the end there is a petting area set up if you want to go in and pet/play with some baby goats. After the tour is over you get 1 free bar of soap from the gift shop. And there must be 100 different fragrances to choose from. Something else you learn and see on the tour is they grow all their food there and live there also. We walked past their huge garden and home which is very impressive. The snack bar offers some ice cream and the restaurant offers some tasty sandwiches. Again, stuff from that big garden even ends up at the restaurant. Nothing is wasted at the restaurant, if there are scraps left they have areas where that goes and/or animals that get it. I love goats. To paint you a picture of how much I love them, know that id drive miles upon miles out of my way for "kid time." After ten years of showing Pygmy goats in 4H, I often find myself having withdraws and scheming how our downtown yard could be converted into a homestead farm. I had caught wind of this spot on Yelp a few weeks ago, so after several weeks of thinking of the goats we hopped in the car and made a visit. I was reallllly looking forward to a hands-on experience with the goats. I knew the goats milk products were the bread and butter of this business but I had hoped the goats' visibility would be much more prominent from the front of the farm. Unfortunately, seeing the goats firsthand is only possible a few times a day for a fee. However, in the meantime you can purchase body products, puddings, cheeses and more. I started looking into goat milk soap in general when I started having skin problems. I found this company and bought their Problem Skin Pack. After looking into it a bit more, I realized how they don't use chemicals and other soaps do. That's the point at which I started buying all my shower body soap from here. I am thinking of getting shampoo next and may then move on to getting laundry soap as well. I am still just experimenting with what I like and don't like so I am not buying anything in bulk just yet. Just a tour on the farm, it was the best time. We got to see how the soap was made, walked though where it was created and formed. Saw all the animals and at the very end...baby goats!!!! I discovered Goat Milk Stuff four-ish years ago, and I am hooked. I love their business model (family operated) and their products are fantastic. We use the liquid and bar soap exclusively in this house, and I recently discovered their deodorant has the simplest ingredients (coconut oil, arrowroot powder, baking soda, Shea butter, and salt)...it is now my go-to deodorant. This place is crazy cute and totally worth a visit. My friends and I came for goat yoga class but I was wow'd by the sweet shop and farm store. I bought some chevre, goats milk, fudge, candles and soap to take home that I'm thrilled about. We ate lunch in the cafe, which was good, but none of us felt our meals deserved 5 stars. The bread on my reuben was a bit too crispy/hard for my liking. My loaded potato soup was also good, but not amazing. As for the yoga class - it was more of a baby goat hangout session than a calming practice. I would recommend in the future that they diaper/onesie the goats prior to the class (although it was an experience to do myself). You can take a tour of the operation for $12 and that includes meeting and petting the goats sampling many of their food products and, you get a bar of soap at the end of the tour. The tour takes ~ 45 minutes and you can book online (tours are daily x Sunday as they are closed). They start at 10am and 1pm. They make soaps, shampoo bars, lotions, lip balms, and detergents using goat milk instead of water or all other chemicals. I drink goat milk and I like it way better than cow's milk. I went through all their website and watched almost all their videos and .... I thought to give it a try. It is a 2-year old small home-run family business in south Indiana, the goats are grass-fed and hand-milked and they use organic ingredients, so it couldn't be harmful. I placed an order and got a very quick and friendly reply from PJ --she is the founder and the mom, confirming my order. I got a tracking number and received my package in 3 business days!! They also let you pick 3 samples of their products and send it for you for free. I tried the soaps and boy I loved them! The soaps have rich and creamy lather with a heavenly fragrance and are also great for sensitive skins. Much better than other goat milk or natural soaps I had used before. I had ordered the small bars because I wasn't sure I would like them, but after using them for a while, I ordered their other soaps, luffa soap, bath bombs, and some other stuff they have. They make special soaps for hunters, bug off, pet bar, foot scrub, etc. They also have a very cool soap saver for your small scraps of soap, washcloths that are knitted by PJ's 8 lovely children, lip balms which I loved, lotions, and gift sets. They have shaving stuff for men, too. I have not tried their laundry soap yet, but it will be my next order. I have placed three orders so far and I received them so quick without any problems. All of the goat stuff! This place is a such a hidden gem and the perfect family outing. I made the drive up from Louisville, and the 40min drive was worth it! The farm has a great back story and is family owned. But most importantly there are all of the goats! I got to spend the afternoon petting goatings and looking at chickens and bunnies. I then enjoyed lunch at their restaurant. The price is right and everything is fresh. I got a breakfast sandwich made with fresh eggs, goat cheese (of course), and bacon. I then splurged for the goat milk gelato, which I highly recommend. And I took home homemade sourdough bread and some chocolate candies made with goat milk - delicious! But be warned when you go into the soap shop! You will want everything you see! And all of a sudden you will even end up with a Goat Milk Stuff sweatshirt and hat. But in all seriousness, their soaps smell amazing. And they have a great selection of scented and unscented soaps. Along with shampoos, lotions, and laundry soap. Definitely check this place out! The products are amazing and the petting area is so fun to interact with the goats! Oh and large dogs! We fell in love with those midsize polar bears! Stopped by after seeing a sign on the side of the road. Not only cute, but an incredibly clean place! The goats were adorable, employees sweet and helpful as well as charismatic. We bought a few products, including the lotion stick, chapstick, goat milk and goat milk yogurt drink, and fudge. I'd consider myself an avid goat milk drinker, and it was delicious! The chapstick works beautifully, and the lotion smells amazing. The fudge was pretty good as well, but as I don't particularly go crazy for fudge I can't rave about it. Love their goat milk soap - I've been using it for the last four or five months and it's great for keeping the usual slight winter dryness away. It's a cute, family-owned and staffed location with tours and animal visits on offer (in addition to a variety of edible or skin care products). Soap bar packaging is cute and great for creating sachets after the bar is being used. A great alternative to lots of plastic and coated cardboard wrappings that go in the garbage from some similar products. One quick note of assurance: as a child, I used Ivory soap and while I wouldn't say that what I purchased here smells like Ivory, it has what I would describe as a clean, simple scent and not remotely reminiscent of the earthy tones I find in many goat-associated or goat-adjacent products. It also doesn't smell like Patchouli unless you pick the Patchouli-scented products. Less sure about universally recommending some of the other skin care products, but my family loved their goat cheese! Worth a visit, if you're feeling at all goat-y. read more

Went here for goat yoga which was AMAZING!! All the staff were so nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. The goats were so cute and cuddly and very photogenic lol. This is definitely an Instagram friendly place and makes for a really good out of the box date spot. I would recommend wearing clothes you don't really care about if you're going to play with the goats because we left stinky lol. There's a farm store with soap, lotions and other things. And a cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, gelato, and other treats. We had a few samples of gelato which were all really tasty. The only negative I would say is that everything is a little over priced. Their soaps are $6.50 for one full bar, and $3.95 for a half bar (which seems like it would only last for 3-4 showers). I have been to the farm twice for kidding season and I've ordered from them a number of times. All the products I have tried are great and the whole family is very knowledgeable in the business and will take the time to talk with you and answer your questions. Even during their busiest time, kidding season, they strive to keep the barns neat and clean. When you order from them, their goal is to get your product to you as quickly as possible. I will no longer use any other soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, or lip balm. Everything they do, they do for a reason. Go to their website and look it up. My friend and I are on a tour of the Midwest, and upon leaving Louisville, we saw this place off the highway. We are both cheese connoisseurs, so we saw "goat milk stuff" and we said "yassss!!!" And we rapidly veered from the highway to experience this place. I purchased bath fizzy stuff, and tried the goat cheese. I sampled the garlic, sriracha, and herbs. The girl who served the samples was mighty friendly! She mentioned what the goat milk could be used in, great customer service, by the young people here. I'm really glad that they have their children working here- it's a family business and it shows that they teach their kids the value of a dollar, and to earn a living!!
