A group of people and me flew into this part of Montana recently, aiming to have a nice vacation at the Glacier National Park. We landed with a couple hours to kill before our ride arrived, so we settled in at the Goat Haunt Saloon. Seemingly the only sit down bar/restaurant in the airport. Ambiance was nice. Plenty of loungey seating available near the beautiful bar and surrounded by the giant windows looking out upon the tarmac. We had no issues getting comfy and eating and drinking while we waited. Service was really great. We had a nice local who gave us some tips and tricks about the area, and she made genuine recommendations. We trusted her. She got us our drinks in a timely manner. No mocktails at this bar, though. Not too surprising for Montana. As for the food, it was good! I had a cheeseburger. It had a nice bun, was cooked well, had a nice char, plenty of fresh veg toppings, a very nice burger. I ordered the crinkle fries, though. Don't. Get the chips instead. They were much better. I also got to try the fried chicken mac 'n' cheese. Wow, this was good! The mac was just the right amount of cheesy, the chicken was fried extra crispy, wasn't too oily, and was served in a nice Montana-sized portion. Very yummy. Overall, if you happen to be stuck at this airport, the Goathaunt Saloon would be an excellent use of your time and stomach space. I'd come back. read more

Pros: Ambiance was quaint and very Montana. Cow print chairs, wood everywhere, a joy to be stuck in for a few hours. Lol. Service was great. We had a very nice waitress who gave us some tips and tricks on how to navigate Montana. Good was pretty good, too. Healthy portions at a good price. Cons: The taste of the food was a little bland, but it wasn't bad by any means. Tips: Skip the French fries if other sides interest you. If you like mac & cheese, get it. Wow! for an airport cheeseburger! Most entree items were about $20. This double cheeseburger came with fries. It was very big, hearty and you could probably share with someone. It was made fresh along with hot fries. I was lucky enough to get great service (from looking at some of the negative reviews regarding service I was fortunate). I had the fried chicken and my wife a turkey club before our flight. Service was friendly and fast. My wife love the turkey club (5-stars), crispy chicken sandwich was ok, one of dry (3-stars). Let me start by saying this: Goat Haunt Saloon was unfortunately (only because it's in the airport) probably the best meal we had during our time in the Kalispell/White Fish area. The seating area is really cozy and matches the cabin/lodge vibes that the rest of the airport shows. Our waitress was friendly and attentive while also letting us just chill and take our time. We were bummed to have missed breakfast. *Be mindful they do stop serving fairly early here compared to places where we live* However, the lunch we had made up for it! My husband and I shared the nacho tower and a turkey club sandwich with chips. Sharing is the way to go so you can try more than one thing! Both were really good. I know a sandwich is a sandwich and difficult to mess up, but I appreciate how hearty and fresh it was. The nacho tower was really yummy, especially the brisket, and I love how they found a way to incorporate huckleberry into the bbq sauce. This is truly the best restaurant I've ever been to in any airport I've traveled through. Good job Glacier International! read more

The fish tacos were the best I've had in a long time. Chop burgers were delicious... super fresh beef. you can tell the difference. the Bison burger looked really good AND its a half pound patty. they said they get their beef and bison from local butchers. they had my favorite beer on tap which was a great addition to my lunch. next time i will try the NY Steak. the lasagna was sooo good! read more

I ordered the open faced brisket sandwich, it left a lot to be desired. Dry brisket on a piece of white bread with a kraft single between. Good sauce, but would have ordered something else for sure. Staff was nice and the space is comfortable. read more

We ate lunch at the airport restaurant before our flight. Small airport so this was the only restaurant. We sat outside. We had a great waitress. She was very nice and down to earth. Lady with blonde hair- don't recall her name. We had 2 burgers, 1 fish & chips and 1 cheesesteak sandwich. All were delicious. The regular burger is 2 patties which we didn't know or else we could have split the burger because it's good size. All of the food we had was good. read more

We ordered the huckleberry nachos. last time we were here they had actual huckleberries in the sauce. we barely had any sauce .... a dribble, I'd call it...with a small amount of cheese on the top. The bottom chips had absolutely nothing on them. $24 to eat plain chips with some meat, a little cheese and a dribble of sauce. Disappointing. The service, however, was great. read more

Go here if you want to stand around for 30 minutes and get served a large nothing with a side of absence. Stood there for 30 minutes waiting to place a to go order only to be ignored and by the time they eventually got to me only because there was a line of people it was too late to order as the plane would be boarding. In 20 minutes and they say it would take 30 minutes for food. Better off leaving the airport and eating and coming back in the same time you want a drink and food. Would give it a 0 if it was available. read more

I had the worst service here! I sat waiting for a menu for over 10 minutes, and when I was finally acknowledged, I was greeted with a very rude, "Are you going to order something? You can't stay here if you don't order something." When I asked for a menu, she grabbed one and just threw it down in front of me without saying anything. Now it was too late for me to order any food so I ordered a drink which took so long that I got it 2 minutes before my boarding time. I ordered a double, but there is no way the server put in the order as a double. Finally, when I wanted to pay my tab, the server walked by me and just threw it down in front of me as if I was inconveniencing her. Keep in mind that I am a very patient person, but this kind of service prompted me to write this review before even getting home from my trip. read more
