He is very friendly, helpful and provided useful suggestions for our trip in Oahu. I didn't plan on seeing as much as we did while in Oahu traveling with my 8 month old infant and 80 year old grandma. Since we did not rent a car, I was worried about the inconvenience it would be for our party and other people if we had joined a tour. With Go808Express' private tour, we were able to go at our own pace and see what we wanted to see, which was a lot for our three days there. It was great, enjoyable, and comfortable for us. Luke was accommodating to each one of us in our party and was especially helpful with my infant and grandma. That was an added bonus. We definitely did not feel like we were being herded around as quickly as possible as I read and was concerned about in some reviews of other companies. We haves used them twice in the past. Our flight got delayed for 2.5 hours and we arrived after midnight. Driver called right after we landed and gave us instruction where to meet. They didn't charge any extra for our flight being late (and so late at night). There were others waiting for their van but we were able to hop in and we arrived at our hotel right away! There was a message on my phone from Josie after we collected our bags that she was waiting in the parking area off to the left of the baggage claim area. There really are not enough positive words to say about this company and it's staff. If you are looking for a shuttle service on Oahu, your search is over - as it doesn't get any better than Go808 Express. We made an internet inquiry for pricing from Daniel Inouye International Airport (HNL) to the Waikiki Hilton Garden Inn (as well as a return shuttle to the airport at the end of our trip) far in advance of our trip and received a response almost immediately. The fare was much less than I expected, and far less than a taxi. All follow-up communications and confirmations were extremely prompt. Upon exiting the airport terminal, we immediately found Rodney (aka Luke) from Go808 Express waiting for us in the designated pick-up area. In no time, we were quickly on our way to our hotel. Rodney is extremely personable and friendly, and his love for his island is very evident from the moment you meet him. If you are fortunate enough to have Rodney as your driver, have a pencil and paper ready as he is a wealth of knowledge, and willing to share his vast experience on the islands with his riders. In addition to identifying points of interest and island history as we proceeded to our destination, Rodney offered insights on how to best get around the island (and town); places to visit (as well as the best times to avoid crowds); places to eat; places to avoid; and had us laughing from the moment he picked us up until he dropped us off. It was like we had a personal guide (and good friend) on the island when we arrived. On the morning of our departure, we changed flights and called to see if we could be picked-up several hours prior to our original pick-up time. I fully expected Go808 Express would not be able to accommodate my request with such short notice, but they did. Our driver, Ray, called us a short time later, and advised us he could pick us up a little early if that might be helpful. It was a help, and was very much appreciated. Customer service was fast and efficient and got information and a confirmation out to me the same day within an hour. Upon pick up, the driver was not only on time but early and allowed us to take our time in getting our things together. We recently went to Honolulu, and I booked an airport pickup through Go 808 Express based on the good yelp reviews I had read. I booked a few days prior to my pickup date, but I wanted to wait to book the return trip (since there was no cost difference in booking round trip vs. one-way), just in case the experience was less than stellar. Well, I had nothing to worry about, as the service was great, and you can't beat having your own private flat-rate shuttle for $25. They arrived on time at the airport; or at least, they certainly would have been on time if I had been (my flight was extremely early, so I had to wait about 10 minutes for them to make it over -- which was impressive considering again that we were very early). It was a safe ride, and our driver, Rodney was amazing. He honestly was all we could talk about the first few days of our trip, as he had spent the whole ride giving us various suggestions for things we could do (and especially provided some cost-saving and time-saving tips). This was not, as you would expect, an attempt to get us to sign up for any of their island tours--rather, I think he (as many locals seem to) genuinely just wanted us to have a good time (or perhaps to be a repeat customer). I, of course, ended up booking them for the return trip back to the airport, and again, had great service. They were on time and proactive enough to even call ahead of time to ensure we were still ready to be picked up, as planned, etc. Josie drove us to the airport, and she also was a delight. She was friendly and got us to the airport in great time despite the fact that a parade had caused huge traffic backups (if we had taken one of those shared shuttles, we would have been stuck forever). Needed to book a taxi early in the morning for a business trip to Maui. Having recently moved to Hawaii, had no idea about taxi services so went on Google and read all the reviews on Yelp (thank God for Yelp - also helped me find a great tailor!). Made online request but also phoned the office in case the request hadn't gone through. Spoke to Rodney who was very helpful - he took my reservation and it was confirmed for 5am, Monday morning. I did an online prepayment and it's great they have this option as it makes it so much easier. Also received response from my online request so knew that it does work. I must admit I was still worried and hoped that the driver would arrive on time 'coz I've heard of some horror stories of taxis not turning up at all!! All my fears started to alleviate when I received p/call from Luke, the driver to say he is on his way. She gave us some very helpful tips on what to do and where to go while we were in Honolulu. I used them 4 times during my 7-day visit to Hawaii (took a side trip to Big Island in the middle of the week) and they were the nicest people ever. My incoming flight was delayed, I changed my pick up times and locations, and my drivers were there on time and super friendly. It was $20 for the two of us (before tip) in a private van and I scheduled all of the appointments online. The website was a little confusing as there is an option to email a requested time and they will write back, and a second option to select a time and pre-pay using paypal. I wasn't sure what to do so I did 3 via email request and one with the prepaid option. It all worked out in the end. This other place was very unresponsive and I didn't feel confident they would have been there when we needed the shuttle.
