These massages were already paid for. Why is the credit card even needed? I have asked and been denied any refund.

The staff helped me figure out what services would be best for me. There are loads to choose from. I settled on a float and using BrainTap. (I love to meditate so I thought this one would be fun to try.) Both services were just what I needed! The float helped relieve the tension in my shoulders (from stress and working at a desk all day) and gave me the sort of deep quiet you only get from being truly unplugged. BrainTap felt like I dialed my normal meditation up a notch. I love that it engages both hemispheres of the brain. So cool! I definitely feel more relaxed and plan to go back again. I'm in a season of my life where I need to commit more to myself but I find that hard to do regularly. Imagine Float made it really easy to prioritize myself and I know I need more of that in my life. I've already booked me next float. :) The facilities are clean, quiet, and relaxing. I never felt like I was being rushed to the services or to get out after. The staff offered me a tea menu after and let me sit in the quiet room to hang out for a bit. That extra bit of decompression and transition time was really nice. I so often feel like I am running from one thing to the next and this just stresses me out. The 60 minute float was the perfect amount of time for me. I did fall asleep at some point which was nice. I was super sleepy and relaxed for the rest of the day. The float tank also does a great job of relieving minor aches and pains because you can stretch with no weight on your joints. I wish that I had thought to turn the lights off in the room before I started, because there was a little bit of light seeping through the cracks of the float tank. You can have the option to turn the lights and spa music in the tank on or off. My skin was super soft afterwards because of the epsom salt, but you might want to plan to do this on a day when you don't have any plans afterwards, because my hair was kind of funky for a while afterwards. The person at the counter was really friendly and did an excellent job of explaining everything. They provide a towel, q-tips, ear plugs, and anything you might need. The cost was $55 for one hour as a new customer. Definitely hoping to come back here and I've been recommending it to everyone!

Tyler had greeted me at the main lobby and was so polite. I was intrigued, as it was my first time there, so I asked a bunch of questions about the place and he was so helpful and was very accommodating. He took me for a tour before I started my infrared sauna session and showed me all the different things that Float 41 had to offer. We started with taking a peek at the fire and ice plunge room, and then we walked to the common area where he offered us tea and relaxation if we wanted to stay there after our experience. The room was just so zen and peaceful. He continued the tour and showed us the float rooms which looked very interesting and will have to try the next time. Our stop ended at our infrared sauna session where we were able to relax and change into robes and given slippers to go inside with. As we stepped inside I noticed it was nice and toasty but I was able to breathe still. It wasn't like a regular sauna where it feels stuffy. This was enjoyable and actually breathable. The session lasted 45 minutes and I felt so rejuvenated after. We were able to shower and we were given water and towels to freshen up after. The experience felt cozy and comfortable and I really enjoyed my time.

(My stuff was in the bathroom, and a man from the 'waiting room' was walking around the tank and using the bathroom -- could clearly hear him urinating even with ear plugs.) It wasn't completely dark nor completely quiet... so, I was a bit bummed about the distraction waking me from my time. I asked the kind attendant to have the owner call me so we could discuss the issue, and she never called me. In the shower I heard a dog barking (don't know if it was from upstairs or from the neighbor's next door)... So, it is a no frills, no privacy establishment... if that's your gig, that's fine, however if you expect privacy, then I suggest a different venue.

With the ear plugs in, I could hear the traffic faintly. But the rest of my body was jello in the best possible way. It's an hour long of float and the time passes by so fast. I love the option they have for light (low blue light) in case complete darkness is a problem. I used it once to ground myself. Lastly, the water fountain shower after with tee tree and eucalyptus wash shampoo/conditioners and lotions provided at the end wrap up the whole experience.
