It took me a little while to shut off my brain and really lose myself in the experience of the sensory deprivation but once I did, I felt so much weight and anxiety feel like it was melting off me. By the end, my mind was clear, and my body felt refreshed. There were no aches or pains in my body and my mind felt free and full of positive hopefully energy. It was definitely a unique experience. The float ranks reminded me of a fairly large shower stall that slanted down to towards the back. There was a floating neck brace to stabilize your neck in a comfortable position. You can do complete darkness and silence or lights and music and any combination in between. The staff the day I went in was only one young woman at the front desk who was extremely friendly and helpful and made me feel more comfortable about this new experience I was trying. She was very encouraging and made my initial nervousness of trying this wear off a bit. I very much look forward to trying this experience again in the future and think it was well worth the price of $80 for the hour.
