I was reading the other reviews and was compelled to put my own in as it sounds like a few uniformed people have only written reviews on the floating. I will agree on one thing, it may not be for everyone but with that said...floating for me helped me with sleep, anxiety and my ability to meditate again. But this cannot be done in one visit. You need a minimum of four visit in my opinion to feel full results with a few along the way. The burning sensation people feel is a sign that this is exactly where you need to be. When your body is depleted of magnesium, when you come in contact with the water there is an itchy, burning sensation that happens for about 5 minutes or so. As you float more often or get your magnesium in other ways, I assure you, you will no longer have this problem. The facility is clean and friendly and the staff was super helpful and informative on my first visit. To the point of guiding me thru the exact way to best enjoy my floating. And the best advice I can give for a good experience is once in the water tip your head back as far as you can so your laying flat. My first visit, I left with a stiff neck as I was unaware that I was slightly holding my head up. Relax and enjoy. The benefits of absorbing magnesium are tenfold. read more

Wonderful experience! The facility is very clean an beautiful. The minute you walk in the door you feel the stress just melting away. I have been coming to this spa since they opened in Northampton. I have been a client of the Euphoria Spa for over 10 years. I followed the owner after she left her previous location in Westfield. Lori and her staff are very knowledgeable and super friendly. Floating is super relaxing and a great way to clear your mind from every day stress. I am a regular to Skin care services. Love the Pumpkin Facial in the fall. i just finished my 3rd float as recommended for first timers. i will do this often from now on! very relaxing and instantly soothing of pain and stress. the tubs are big and shallow. i appreciated the tepid water after i had been in for a bit as the room warms up. the ease of entering the tub and getting out is ideal! i loved the silky feeling of the minerals and the light stinging that initially happens around fragile skin areas stops rather quickly and is replaced with a feeling of rapid healing. the staff have been very sweet and attentive. the atmosphere is impressive given that it is located on busy main street. i love this place and recommend it highly. read more

I've been coming to Euphoria Spa for about nine years now for waxing and facial services. Even though I moved to Boston I still make a trip to Euphoria Float Spa because of the relaxing float tanks and stress relieving facials. All I have to say is floating truly helped me be more relaxed. College was super stressful for me and I was able to free my mind for some time. The facility is well maintained and super clean. I chose Euphoria as a birthday present to myself. I'd heard of the spa and decided to do something different. As I entered, I was met by the kind and engaging staff. As it was my first ever float, I was throughly educated on the float, and the pre- and post-float process. The pods (and the sitting area) are beautifully decorated and inviting. The spaces and also very clean and ordered. The hour that I floated was the most relaxed I had been for months, so much so I bought a package and can't wait to return. The whole experience was amazing!!! The changing room/shower & size of the tank really made the space feel big and not claustrophobic. I've already recommended it to someone and told them to not be afraid to go because Euphoria really gives you the option to decide how you want to experience it. I like that I could have the light/music on and just stretch and feel the physical benefits, or have complete silence/darkness and flow into a different state of consciousness. Taylor was amazing! It was my first float and I was a little nervous. I received a 60 minute float as a gift and was excited though a bit hesitant to give it a try. She clearly explained the process and made me feel comfortable during my stay at euphoria The float experience was so relaxing. I loved having a private room to enjoy my float in. Awesome experience! Floating is super rejuvenating , and is a great way to relax and free your mind of any type of stress in your life. At first I couldn't really tell which parts of my body were above/under water, then I totally lost track my body. I couldn't decipher my body from the tank and it was eventually just my mind free from distractions of visual,physical, and auditory stimulus. Went for my first float last night. What a great experience! I will definitely be returning. This place is crazy CLEAN. I am a serious germ-phobe and was pleasantly surprised at how meticulously clean every room was. The staff is pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. I have had massages before, but found this just as relaxing. I have been suffering with insomnia for a month or so, but last night slept like a rock! I highly recommend you try it! read more

My friend and I traveled from Albany, NY to visit this Float spa location and I'm so glad we did but sad I don't live closer enough to visit regularly. This particular float spa is extremely clean and the tanks themselves are the best around. I plan on visiting in the spring and summer more since traveling an hour and a half in the winter isn't easy. But I plan on going back and would suggest this location to anyone, especially first time floaters. read more
