I read through the previous reviews and decided that I needed to also post a review. I booked a 60 min couples massage. When we arrived the lady at the front was very short with us and brought us into a room and asked if it was our first time and we said yes, then she said something about a towel and left. My husband and I were kinda just looking at each other like what are we supposed to do? So I peeked my head out and saw another lady walking by so I asked her and she said to take our clothes off (leave your underwear if you want) and put the towel(sheet) on and lay face down. Okay, I already had my underwear on so I just kept it on. Then the two ladies came and in and asked if we wanted a hard or medium massage, my husband said hard and I opted for medium. So they initially massaged us over the sheet we had on. Then...suddenly the sheet gets flung down and so do my underwear...The whole time I wanted to bust out laughing and thought this is going to be a great story to tell. The massage was good, she definetly got all up in every muscle (would have been nice if she asks if there was a spot that needed more attention). I always wonder too what they are saying to each other and laughing about, I can only imagine. Then they did the hot stones and she massaged everywhere, luckily my booty did need a good hard massage. We both gave them a $20 tip but I imagine like some one else said, they would have probably chased us out looking for a tip if we didn't already offer one. My husband actually loved it and wants to go back all the time, I thought it was more of a one and done thing, it wasn't something I'd really be dying to do again. If you are looking for a high end, "american" style spa, for sure don't go here. read more

if I could give zero stars I would. My sister and I went to get a head and scalp massage done, called before hand and waited 10mins before being put in a room together. the beginning of the massage was decent. but the staff was rough, the massage was not a genuine scalp massage. their techniques were to press firmly on your scalp and even punch your head. they pulled on your hair, unsure of the purpose of that. they advertised the massage for $30 each, my sister and I both got one, and at the end they told us the total was $90 plus a $2 credit charge. so instead of paying the expected $60, we ended up with a $92 bill and a head full of oil and sore scalps. when I did not leave a tip on the receipt the staff were whispering and staring like they wanted to say something, but bit their tongue and made the entire atmosphere uncomfortable and unwelcoming. would not recommend, definitely a waste of time and money. read more

My husband and I booked a couples massage because my back has been hurting me. So hey, why not get a massage to relieve some of the pain. PLEASE hear me when I tell you this! This was the WORST massage I have EVER received in my life. I had a massage with Coco and Yoyo. This woman got on my back with her elbows and knees claiming to give me a massage. This was exasperating the pain even more, she asked if it's okay I said "NO" and she continued. I would tense up, she told me to relax. Like how??? You're literally karate chopping me in my back and piercing your elbows in my ribs. NOT COOL. Okay fast forward, she got to my face started massage my face once she was done she started karate chopping me in my forehead. Like absoulutely no!!!! I had to stop her there because there is no way this place is licensed. I'm appalled that this even happened. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO THESE TWO LADIES, EVER. I had a wonderful massage at this spa. I was passing through town, so I really appreciated that they could accommodate last-minute appointments. I read some reviews from customers who felt uncomfortable with the full-body nature of the massage, but I find that's the Eastern massage tradition. I think it's tui-na? They're not shy about bottoms, and that's good because let's face it- those muscles do a lot of work! I never felt uncomfortable during the massage. My therapist checked in to see if I'm okay a few times. The only complaint might be a slightly musty smell, but it didn't really bother me. Overall great experience, and I would come back. read more

I am never one to leave a bad review however, I have given this place multiple chances and at this point I will not be returning. When I first started going here the massages were great. In fact, they still are. Unfortunately that is overlooked by the lack of professionalism and customer service. I went in today for my scheduled appointment and was left waiting for 20 minutes. Once someone finally came in, they started for about five minutes before walking out of the room. They came back five minutes later and said they were sorry but had a different appointment to tend to and walked back out before I could get in a word. Five minutes later she came back in and apologized and said she would do my massage. So after being 30 minutes behind schedule, the massage continued. Shortly after she was then on the phone arguing with someone. Then someone came into the room while my body was exposed and the door was left wide open. The two people continued to have a conversation during my massage and again with the door wide open. It is impossible to enjoy a massage when there is constant interruption. I also felt extremely uncomfortable as every time my massage therapist would walk out or someone would come in, again the door was left wide open. I felt this was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional and I as the customer was left feeling very uncomfortable. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened to me here. There was another occasion where I went with my husband and was interrupted multiple times by outside conversation and asked if we had an appointment half way through our massage, which we did. And again, during this massage session the doors were left wide open with our bodies exposed as people came in and out chatting with our therapists. I thought maybe they were having a bad day so I decided to give them a second chance. But after my experience today, I certainly will not be returning. And if you value relaxation and privacy during a massage, I do not recommend this place! read more

Let me start by saying I have never had a massage before so wasn't sure what to expect. I was not expecting how relaxing it was. I very much enjoyed the attention to detail when adjusting various parts of the body and stretching or massaging based on what's was needed. The massage was firm yet soothing to the point I could have fallen asleep. My masseuse Tina was caring and attentive asking how I was doing and guiding me as needed. This place is weird. Pretty sure its more than just a spa if you get my drift. We cut our 90 minute session short. 1. My husband and I went for a couples massage but were put in seperate rooms. Never had a couples massage were we were split up. 2. There was tape over the corner of the door frame so none of the doors would close all the way. Which was strange and anyone walking by could see you undressing. 3. There are signs all over the room to leave your under garment on. Yet as soon as the massage began the girl pulled down my panties and came uncomfortably close to my privates. 4. My husband had the same experience as me in point #3, but reported the woman kept asking "you like?" As she grazed his private. He said no and she stopped. He immediately got dressed and came looking for me. Needless to say we wont be back. read more

I went to this establishment for my 25th birthday to get a 20 minute scalp massage, yet I left feeling uncomfortable and confused. The first concern was that upon arrival, the lobby was very dark. A woman walked into the lobby from the other dimmed room. There was a language barrier, which is fine. However, she did not acknowledge that I had a booked appointment nor did she ask any questions. She kept asking if I was coming in for the 90 minute full body massage and directed me to sign paperwork. I explained to her that I booked online only for the 20 minute scalp massage. After going back and forth, she walks me over to the poster on the wall and pointed at the 90 minute massage option. I pointed to the scalp massage and then she finally understood. She consistently asked me if I was sure I wanted this and was very persistent in getting me to add the 90 minute massage, which I am glad that I did not after reading these Yelp reviews. She walked me into the private room. She had me lay on the bed. The second concern I had was the number of times my masseuse left the room while the scalp massage was supposed to be happening. At one point, there was another masseuse in the room with us. The door was left open each time. Every time the bell at the front door rang, my masseuse got up to greet them during our session. The massage was not very good. She scratched my head in the same spot for 15 minutes straight, drenched my head with oil and for the last 5 minutes of the session she started slapping my head repeatedly. Unfortunately, the Google reviews do not reflect what I went through. However, the Yelp reviews do align with my experience. I should have trusted my gut feeling the moment I arrived. I could not fully relax. I was on edge. There is something weird about this place. Overall, I will not be returning due to the unprofessional nature of this establishment. Stay safe. read more

My husband and I have gone in for a couple's massage twice now. We were able to get a same day appointment. While I wouldn't say the is a lot of ambiance (no spa noises and minimaldecoratio), the room was clean and comfortable. We had side by side tables. The massage therapist spent a lot of time focused on our necks and shoulders which I mentioned were problem areas. The price is great. The therapists are communicative. I came here for a couples massage and was so happy with the service! It is deep and firm which really worked out the knots I had. They didn't use too much oil and I wasn't left with an oily sensation at the end. Everyone was very friendly and they even have a rewards program when you buy multiple sessions! Worst massage ever, they are rough as fuck, the massage was more painful than enjoyable the whole time and I kept telling her she was going too hard and didnt change the intensity at all, they fucked up my left wrist too, she popped it and its been hurting for days, my shoulders are sore as fuck and my lower back hurts. My friend got a massage with me at the same time on another room and they fucked up her lower back, she had to call out of work that day. Terrible massage, and if U have past injuries forget it. I booked a couple's massage for my mom and I weeks ago. Completely shady looking place. Very dark, behind a place of business. We didn't even know if they were open. We stood in the lobby for 3 mins before anyone came to see us. Dimly lit lobby. We arrived 5 mins early and they were looking at us like we were 30 mins early. We totally threw them off. We asked if there was paperwork to fill out & we were met with confusion. My mom has a bad leg that's recovering from surgery and wanted to stand with her walker before the actual massage. They kept insisting to sit. After 5 mins, they ushered us into a room with one bed. We said, we booked a couple's massage. They said..we know, just wait & they shut the door. Well, we waited....20 more minutes. I was getting pissed. I could hear guys voices talking loudly and it was almost like they didn't want us seeing who was coming and going. Finally, they came in & said, sorry we got busy. I said, well we can just go home. They said something about a discount if we came another time but I live in NY and was going home the next morning. They FINALLY took us into our room. We had both mentioned we wanted light to medium massage. Well, 3 days later & I'm still sore all over from my girl being rough. They definitely aren't trained in massage therapy. My mom literally said 6x, lighter please! And when they had my mom roll over onto her back, they didn't cover her up right away. She had to ask to be covered up. Her girl kept leaving the room and lots of whispering outside the room & during our massage. It's definitely a more bare and simple looking spa, so if you are looking for something fancy, it might not meet your needs. PLEASE READ FOR AN IN-DEPTH REVIEW: My boyfriend and I went for a couple's massage last weekend. Like others have said, we experienced the following: 1. Exposing my entire bottom despite the masseuse (Michelle) saying "undress to your liking." (I left my bra and underwear on.) When she first started to massage my back, she told me to take off my entire bra. (Then why even tell me to undress TO MY LIKING.) 2. Over four times, Michelle grazed my crotch. Once she reached four times, I stopped counting. I chalked it up to a continued mistake, but then... 3. In the car, my boyfriend said his masseuse grazed his, too, when laying on his back and massaging his thighs. HE WAS WEARING SHORTS. 4. He also said his butt wasn't totally exposed, his crack was. And he said when his masseuse pulled up his shorts, she SLAPPED HIS BUTT... 5. At the end, Michelle was stretching her arms at the cash register (to me, that suggested she was saying, "I worked really hard on you!") and the woman at the register--like others said--talked to my boyfriend and me extensively about giving a tip. I didn't know how my boyfriend's massage was until after we left, so I left it up to him to decide, because my experience was appalling to say that least. My mom was going to school to be a massage therapist and mentioned that butt massages are a thing. But you ALWAYS CONSENT with the client before rubbing them there. This experience was... unusual to say the least. The 60-min couples massage was a decent, good massage. But there were some aspects of it that were unenjoyable. Before the massages began, my boyfriend and I had both our hairs touched and speculated as if we were some foreign human beings, or not human beings at all. They were extremely fascinated with my curls and his waves but it wasn't a normal kind of fascination, it was eerie and uncomfortable. Throughout the massage, the women massaged far too close to private areas, exposed our bottoms, and applied some type of facial creams, all of which were done without consent. After this odd series of events, the massage concluded and all workers gathered at the exit asking for a tip. My boyfriend and I didn't bring any cash and informed them of that but they continuously insisted that we tipped them. After explaining that we did not have cash to tip them, the owner said, word-for-word, "oh she does not know English." in a sarcastic, sympathetic tone. Absoultely the best massage we have ever received. My Fiance and I went for a couples massage. We had Lilly and Tina, they were great. We cannot describe how awesome the experience was. They were very attentive to our needs and provided a massage based on our needs. My fiance needed a medium-firm massage for which he received. I needed a softer firm massage for which I received. We will absoutley return. The location may not be what you expect but compared to all the expensive, posh places, Zenergyy Spa will not let you down. Service is superb. read more

This was the most horrific massage experience for my boyfriend and I. Where do I begin? The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The face "pillow" was hard as a rock to the point where my chin was sore for days after. The sheets on the bed were not matching and looked very old. The massage itself was so hard that my lower back and neck muscle were sore for days after, even after I said she was going too hard. Our appointment was for an hour and we quit after 30 minutes because we simply couldn't take it anymore. Also, they therapists pulled our sheet down to where half our butts were exposed and no I'm not kidding!!! I've had many massage experiences before and they've NEVER gone below the lowest part of the back. I actually pulled the sheet up and after that, the therapists were speaking to each other in their language, giggling. I cannot explain in words the discomfort we experienced. And the hot towels they wiped us down with smelled moldy and disgusting. Needless to say we went right home to shower. And the smell stayed in my car on the leather.....such UNPROFESSIONALISM!!!!! Worst experience of my life. I book a couples massage online. Then called cuz we wanted to book the sauna and that wonderful looking shower. I told the woman we want to come in sooner since we would like to use the sauna and shower before the massage. Well we got there 30 mins to our massage time since it should have been plenty of time. I even told her what time we were going to be there. Well the girl brought us into our room. Told me to go on 1 side my babe on the other n left. Came back to us in robs since we were expecting sauana n shower. Laughed at us n said oh u never have massage before?... um yes i have, but we are expecting another service 1st. So after waiting awkwardly for 10 mins they finally come back cuz our sauana is ready. Which was ok then we were expecting a nice rianfall shower n what we got was an almost pitch black stall (like no lights) with a normal everyday shower head. We get back to our room 5 mins after the start of the schedualed massage time. Waited another 10 mins after that before they came in to massage us. The girl's phone kept going off. She kept stopping to answer it. At 1 point she put it on the table i was laying on n it kept going off and as im exposed they kept opening and closing the door. And after all that. As if thats wasnt enough as we were trying to get dressed they come bardging in telling us we need to hurry and go cuz they need to clean the room before the next couple. Well i left avery small tip and they are lucky they got that cuz in reality i didnt want to pay any more then i did. From the moment we walked into the parlor it was an incredibly uncomfortable atmosphere. My friend and I were lead into a massage room for a couple's massage without ever being asked our names, what service we were there for, or anything at all. Once the massage began, there was no communication from the massage therapists about what we wanted from the massage, the degree of pressure, or areas of focus. The massage therapists whispered and laughed to each other throughout the duration of the massage, which made my friend and I feel very uneasy and confused as to whether they were laughing at us. They were extremely rough during the massage and did not warn us or ask before exposing our bodies. I laid uncovered and exposed on the table for almost my entire massage, which I had not given consent for. I also had a recent knee injury and at one point asked the masseuse not to massage my left knee, to which she giggled and did not understand. The masseuse then proceeded to massage my injured knee more softly, as that was her understanding of what I had asked. Once the massage was finally over, my friend and I were cornered by all three staff who became argumentative about our method of payment. All three stood there expectantly while we had to prove that we had already paid and were reprimanded for not using cash, which was not a problem when we scheduled the massage using Groupon. Overall it was an unprofessional and traumatizing experience. We do not recommend receiving services here and will personally never go back. read more
