After I had been waiting for 45 minutes, Jim left the front desk and came back a few minutes later stating Nicole had had a problem with the table. When she finally came to get me she was not apologetic and blamed the delay on the table. A 45 min delay b/c of the table?! Are you serious!? I wondered how long it would have taken her to start my service if Jim had not checked in with her b/c she did not call him for help. I understand that sometimes things happen that are beyond our control but her approach really communicated disregard for customer care and satisfaction. She was very disengaged and it was clear she wanted no part in the conversation I started as she wandered off and I had to ask where she went. I asked both of them what we were going to do as I had booked services and was now running very, very behind. I then learned my pedicure appt had been moved to 2 PM without my knowledge or confirmation. If staff need to modify appointment times, patrons really should be consulted. Jim made a halfhearted attempt offering me a service I did not want at a time that was 45 min away when I had already been waiting there for 45 minutes. I am sorry, but this was completely unacceptable. I left without receiving any of the services I scheduled weeks in advance. Most of the staff I have worked with there over the years have been great. Nicole was definitely the exception. But don't expect much in terms of hospitality or customer service.
