We had a significant…read moreglitch that could have made things terrible but 2 Men and a Truck handled it so well, it made moving a great experience because I was so grateful to them for how they handled the glitch. Unknown to me, the buyer of my house showed up with a 18 wheeler truck of their belongings on the same day and at the same time as 2 Men and a Truck were scheduled to move my belongings out. This was contrary to the contract and completely unexpected. It was especially difficult because my house has 4 levels and requires much moving of heavy things up and down lots of steps. It was even harder since other movers were moving in heavy furniture of the new owner. Even with this glitch, 2 Men and a Truck were polite, hardworking, conscientious and made it work. I was so proud and grateful to them, it made my view of the whole thing great. I cannot say enough wonderful things about 2 Men and a Truck!

However, I called and spoke with someone on the 9th, 11 days before commenting through this app. He asked what I had to move, did it have stairs and where was I moving from and to where and also asked what date I needed you for. I told him the date that I had to be out by was the 30th and I could be flexible as long as it was by the 30th. He informed me that someone would be contacting me back with a price and date at that time. I never heard back anything by phone and even tried calling again with no answer a couple of times. I then posted through this app with the project scheduling on the 20th, four days before your defensive comment back to me, without an apology, I might add. If I could give zero stars for this company I would just on the basis of you not offering an apology for my experience and getting defensive with me when I'm just posting my experience with your company for others to be able to make an informed decision based on reviews. This isn't personal, I don't know you. I just simply did not have a good experience with your company.

In case the guys wouldn't check the inbox for internet contact emails I decided to call the office and Cameron, one of the owners, answered. He said that he had just seen my contact email and we discussed the work I needed. Because it was a landscaping job he said he'd have his business partner, Brantley, call to coordinate an appointment. I understood that he'd need to look at the work before giving me a price. We had a great experience with U-Pack/ABF! We used 2 relocubes to move from Alabama to Boston, MA,…read moreand the process was seamless! ABF contacted us right away and delivered the relocubes. We packed those the same day, and the relocubes were picked up the next. We were able to easily track our shipment the entire trip. Once we arrived to Boston, the relocubes were delivered in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company!! Helpful tips: 1. You will need 2 padlocks per relocube. So 2 relocubes will require 4 padlocks. 2. ABF can not guarantee a set time for delivery or pickup. 3. For delivery of the cube, they give you a window of 4 hours. The truck driver will call you before they arrive. If it is raining, they are unable to get the forklift off the truck because they will not be able to reload it-- too slick. So you may have to reschedule. They were very helpful and came after-hours to make sure I was taken care of. 4. For pickup of the cube, they do not give you a window. They only let you know it will be picked up the day you schedule. 5. If you need it delivered one day, unloaded, and picked up the next-- you can call the local center and have it scheduled for pickup-- but not booked. Once it is unloaded, you can call back and officially book the pickup.

We had a 26' Uhaul to unload and our 50+ year old backs just weren't up to it. We needed some…read moremuscle. I looked at Yelp reviews and decided on Motivated Movers because of their great reviews. Trust me, these reviews were right on - these guys were great. I called for a quote. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the girl I talked to but she was friendly and knowledgeable. She listened to my needs, asked a few questions and gave me an immediate quote. The quote was a little higher than I expected, but three days before I needed the help, I wasn't going to argue. The only complaint I do have with the quote was the $85 travel fee. It was under 5 miles. Right now Google maps has the travel time at 11 minutes. Even being generous and giving them 20 minutes each way, we're talking over $2 a minute. Of course they could be charging by mileage which makes the charge over $8 a mile. I should have offered to go pick the guys up - heck, we could even have stopped for breakfast and I'd be ahead $50. We had already unloaded all of the small and loose items so the truck was only about half full. Although there wasn't any furniture, there was a small safe and a number of very heavy crates still onboard. The two guys barely broke a sweat. They unloaded quickly and didn't make a mess. We had a significant amount of rain the previous day and water was starting to get tracked in the house. The guys actually stopped to cover the floor before they proceeded to unload. There is a two hour minimum and our guys were done in about an hour and 15 minutes. (It took us over three hours to load.) They asked several times if there was anything else they could do. (I thought of sending them grocery shopping but I knew my husband would have just rolled his eyes at me!). Hopefully we don't have to move anytime soon but if we do we will definitely use these motivated Motivated Movers again!
