One word: RELIABLE. I have used GoPro for two full moves and have used them to move some heavy furniture when I can't do it myself. GoPro shows up on time and gets the job done quickly. HORRIBLE experience. More broken items than I care to list. Careless. And no response from management after THEY solicited feedback. The theme of the move was 'Careless and let's rush'. Running up and down the ramp, boxes getting dropped because they were stacked three high and crashed off the hand truck, off the ramp. The ramp getting dropped on the steps up to the flat and damaging the steps - which I then had to address with the landlady. Boxes clearly marked 'fragile' getting stacked on the bottom of a large pile in the living room. Boxes stacked side by side so I couldn't walk between them though I clearly communicated a plan before we started. (I've moved 100's of times professionally, personally, - and as an Air Force Brat so this is 2nd nature.) I start opening the boxes. immediately after they leave - especially the ones that were dropped. I literally had to create 2 large boxes marked as 'broken glass and dinnerware'. At first I was mad...and then when it started coming in volume I just had to 'let it go' because I was going to get furious....interestingly enough the majority of the broken items came out of 3 boxes that your mover dropped off the ramp. So instead of having 4 artichoke plates - I now have 2. Instead of having a beautiful glass canister set - I have one. Instead of a 12 piece place setting of matching dinnerware - I now have 9 of one, a different # of another, et cetera. My 12 piece lass set of Reidel - became 2. 10 were broken. GoPro helped us with our move from Cupertino to Campbell this past weekend. GoPro was probably one of the most professional moving servcies we have used. We have moved domestically within the US and Canada as well as internationally. 1. Due to the numerous delays with the closing on our home, we ended with postponing our move 3 times. GoPro was accommodating and tried to fit our schedule every time - even with a move on Boxing Day at one time. 2. 3 movers (Jesus-driver, Victor, and Drae) came for our 2-bedroom move. They were all professional, courteous and careful with our items. 3. The move was estimated for 6 hrs and the crew ended up finishing in 3.75hrs so we were charged for onlyl the 4 hr minimum. I used Go Pro Movers three different times during my long month move from a big four bedroom house. Experience 1 Although Go Pro ran late to move the first load from Morgan Hill to Fremont, they kept me notified on what was going on. It did put a damper on my evening however, they showed up and finished the job even during rush hour traffic. Experience 2 I used Go Pro Movers again to help me wrap and secure heavy furniture into a 16' PODS (by the way, I didn't know GO PRO MOVERS also have the same storage service that PODS offers). During this order, I didn't think to ask for assistance to move the furniture into the PODS but they did it anyways with two of my peeps from the corner, lol. It took Go Pros three hours to do the job. The POD was completely full and to my surprise, I needed another POD, shoot me now! Experience 3 My final moving experience with GO PRO MOVERS was loading a 12' PODS (this time I asked for help moving and securing the remaining items into the PODS (ask for the Samoan guy, he's awesome!)). Of course PODS ran late and my GPM guys were nice enough to wait for the POD . They had another job to do and they were kind enough to help me out. In conclusion, please remember that as much as you can prepare and book jobs, unforeseen things will happen! SCAM!!!! DO NOT HIRE!!! This company is a scam. We hired them, put a deposit down, called a week prior to the move to confirm, as well as the day before- we were told that we were all set. The morning of the move (the day before our closing) they never showed up! They didn't answer their phones. They took our deposit money and were unreachable. I had to cancel my credit card bc they had the number and dispute the charge on my card. After we left multiple voicemails, they finally called my husband and offered to refund the deposit and cut us a check for $400 to cover the cost of the uhaul that we had to rent to move ourselves. Still no check. No refund. This company is a bunch of scammers!! read more

I went with this company after researching quite a bit. A good BBB rating and good reviews on Yelp! I moved on a Tuesday, which has a three hour minimum. I'm also on a super tight budget. It was nice that there were NO hidden charges at all. What they quoted me per hour is what I paid - no extra for the wardrobes, saran wrap, blankets, straps, nothing. It was nice! I was worried about the extra it would be for the saran wrap, but was very happy that it was included. I asked my friend to come over and help me move - she and I helped out by carrying many of the boxes downstairs. It took about 2 hours to load the truck and everything was loaded carefully and efficiently. THen a 15 minute drive to my new house and another 45 minutes to unload. I just had them stack all the boxes into the garage, put the furniture in the rooms. I'm very happy with the job Go Pro did with my move and am likely to go with them again if I ever move again! Both guys that helped me move were very nice. And they got me in at just 3 hours, the minimum for a weekday. read more

Overall, I think they did a good job on my move, but I think they're a bit slow. The owner Chris and his moving team are very professional and courteous. It made moving that much easier, and I hate moving! I have moved so many times. My only quam is they seemed slower than the last moving company I used and I used 3 people this time instead of 2. So not only was it more expensive, it actually took longer although they had an additional person. So that's why I'm giving it 3 stars. If they can maintain the same level of quality and service, but move a little faster I would have given them a better rating. Also, they didn't bring enough closet boxes. I ended up being short one, but they did wrap all my furniture and big screen tv for me without charging me extra. Everything is just by the hour, so no hidden charges. Also, they ended up being 10 minutes late because he couldn't get a hold of me on my home phone. Well obviously, if I am moving, I disconnected my home phone, so that was time wasted, especially at $135 an hour for 3 people. I'm not sure why he didn't call my cell phone in the first place. Do not hire these jokers! I reserved my Thursday move two weeks in advance with a window of 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm move pick up. I took the day off work. On the day of move at 1:30 pm, I called to check the status. I was told 530 pm. Then another call from them, the movers will be there between 6 pm to 7pm, supposedly there is an issue with the truck. At 7:15 pm, I get a call it'll be between 8:00 Pm to 9:00 Pm. I asked them to send more than 2 movers, as it is getting late. Kyle and"his team" said they would work on it. I informed them there were two other tenants in my building and this is beyond rude. TWO MOVERS SHOW UP AT 8:50 PM to move my one bedroom apartment. There was no "truck issue", their previous move before went a lot longer than expected. We move until 1:00 am, I had to help to help complete the move, as the movers were exhausted. I have neck/spine issues which is why I hire movers yet there I was running boxes up and down stairs to get the move over with! My new neighbor came out and expressed frustration about the loud late night move in! Go pro movers charges $160 per hour, doesn't honor the move window, doesn't care you took a whole vacation day off from work to move, doesn't care about the stress on their employees time or bodies, and definitely does not give a shit about you - the client! Do not book these people, they could of cared less about the inconvenience, they just want that $$$! You think a company charging a higher rate would offer a better quality of service but nope! My wife and I recently decided to make the transition from apartment renting in the South Bay to home ownership over in the East (Bay) and like our previous apartment community, we wanted the best for our monies worth in making the move. Thanks to all of the sparkling reviews on Go Pro Moving through Yelp (along with meeting face-to-face with a rep at their office) the decision to choose them out of several other services was a no-brainer. They arrived on time, explained to me EXACTLY as to how the packing process would go and followed it to a Tee. So thorough in fact that I arrived at my new residence about an hour early while having to call the sales office to unlock the house to let them in in order to unpack. I know to some that it sounds crazy not being present with the unloading of so many valuables. Both my wife and I are originally from back east and are very good & quick judges of character. The movers at Go Pro were friendly, courteous and went about their business quickly which assured me that they didn't need me breathing down their necks to make sure that they completed their job in a timely manner. In the past, we've always moved ourselves. This was our first experience dealing with a moving company and an outstanding one to say the least. They definitely put the PRO in Professional. I had done in depth research on finding the right movers for our job. I work at a museum and we where moving very heavy awkward display cases and fragile plexiglass tops. After talking with over 10 different moving companies, I decided on GoPro because of their high rating on Yelp and because they assured me that their guys could get the job done. My main concern, was that I was going to hire people that were going to go over the estimated time and cost, and after reading reviews it appeared that GoPro was pretty accurate with their estimates. Although they were more expensive then most of their competitors, I wanted experienced movers for our heavy awkward objects and could take the care with the cases. Although, the movers were an hour late, they more then made up for it with their speed and care. Originally they had quoted me at 6 hours and they got the job done in 3.5 hours. The owner, Sean, also contacted me personally assuring me that they would be able to handle our move which eased the tension of the move. Lastly having them come in under their estimate was greatly appreciated by our not for profit museum and it made me look good by finding a company that could do the job right and efficiently. I will definitely be using GoPro in the future when I have to move the display cases again or if I have to move personally. I called and spoke with Teresa (sorry if I misspelled, Theresa?) over the phone this morning. I gave her the rundown of my situation.... basically I am in need of moving svcs in the next day or two and need to book something asap. Unfortunately, my husband and I thought we could move everything ourselves and well, we're both exhausted and still have about less than half of our home left to move. I have not used a mover in the past. Always that college method of asking friends to help. Welcome to adulthood, can't bother or bribe your family no more. I would n't suggest the alternative of hiring someone off of craigslist if you want to see you stuff again or even in one piece. This is what led me to GoPro. All I heard was nothing but good things. I checked other movers, but their response was just lacking. GoPro answered quickly, scheduled a estimate and sent a estimate within a day. Now for the move, I won't mention the price since everyone has different needs. Between me and my wife, we were moving from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 4 bedroom home (3 stories), and GoPro was nothing less than professional and courteous. Chelsea, Couch and a 3rd mover (I know she told me his name and even shook his hand, just can't remember) were absolutely awesome. From start to finish, they got us moved in and on time. Based on many favorable reviews I have read on Yelp, I chose to use GoPro for my recent move. I have actually never paid to be moved, but considering I was on the 3rd floor and had dealt with the initial move in 3 years prior, I was not too eager to go up and down those stairs again. The process for obtaining an estimate was very easy and straightforward, and it pays to be as accurate as possible with the amount and types of things to be moved. I provided these details and got a quote the next day. All I had to do was put a deposit down to secure the timeslot, which in this case was noon on a Sunday. They sent a crew of 3 people who, once the truck was setup and the job reviewed, got straight to work. They moved very quickly, but took their time wrapping up and padding furniture and other big ticket items. It took about 2 1/2 hours to pack up the place entirely and only about an hour to unload and move everything into the new place. This was actually less time than the original estimate, so money was saved. Each member of the crew was very professional and friendly and I passed on the saved money to them as tip. There was nothing broken during the moving process, although some items had some minor dings. Nothing to fret over, though. I would highly recommend GoPro for your moving needs. read more

I just moved last week from San Mateo to Campbell. and this was my third time using GoPro. The first time I used the service, I was blown away at how nice and quick they were...very impressed. The second time, my movers were very slow and not very personable...mediocre experience at best. This 3rd time was a pretty awful experience. My movers were supposed to show up between 8-9am. I got a phone call at 8:15 letting me know that the truck got a flat tire (i get that these things happen) and that they would be arriving before 10:30am. After not hearing from anyone for 2 hours, I finally got a phone call at 10:30am that they were 15 minutes away. Go Pro did send an extra guy and the movers were very nice, however, it threw off my whole day. I hadn't made arrangements for my puppy walker or with the landlord to move in at the later time and the lack of communication that morning was unacceptable. I left a voicemail with the office around 10:30am and have still never heard back. In the end the move was finished around 3:30 (should have been 12:30). I highly suggest they work on scheduling and communication in the future. My advice, if you have some flexibility in your moving schedule, they are great. If you are like me and need things to run efficiently...there are other moving companies that will suit you better, that was my final move with them. read more

In inquiring about my move, which will be happening very fast (2 weeks), I had to call them twice before I talked to someone over a 3 day period. Then they set up a walk through, which the estimator was an hour late for. I then got a call that afternoon saying she would be there tomorrow. I quickly corrected the girl on the phone that she had already been there, to which she responded "oh I'm in training. She will send the estimate tomorrow." This was last Friday. It's Tuesday. No Quote. No Call. I called yesterday and got the answering service AGAIN and left another message. After today passing, I called and again got the answering service (does no one work in their office?) and when I was leaving the message with the operator to say "don't bother doing the estimate, I am not going to be using this company", the service puts me on HOLD for over a minute, to come back and not remember who I am, so I have to repeat myself. I'm very glad I didn't actually go with this company. They need some serious service work. In contrast, You Move Me had wonderful customer service reps that answered the phone and guided me through their process, they have followed up completely as they said they would, provided excellent service and made me comfortable. read more

I'd heard the horror stories about moving companies (lost items, broken china, etc.) I wanted someone I could trust, but was still skeptical. These guys were fantastic! They were professional, incredibly hard working, and totally trustworthy. They packed their truck and my trailer to a point you couldn't fit a piece of paper in there. It was amazing. Every single one of them worked tirelessly to squeeze in every last box, bike, plant, and nic-nac. When it came time to unpack, they put everything in its particular room, moved furniture to precisely where we wanted it, and reassembled beds and dressers. These guys were the dogs bollocks! They Rocked! We found Go Pro Moving on Yelp. They were the only company who got back to us super quick and provided us with a professional and detailed quote. On the day of the move, Joe and his team Ray and Reggie arrived bang on time and started loading up almost immediately. Pretty soon it was clear we had too much stuff but they somehow managed to make it nearly all fit in their clean truck (important to note) and we were ready to leave the old house right on time. They were a bit disheartened to see our new house had THREE floors (hahaha) but they made good progress in getting all our stuff in safely without marking it. Highlight of the day was a tough choice between Reggie showing us his box-cutting skills (very adept) or Ray trying to sell us our own furniture and his house cleaning services (what a joker). Pros: - Answered my phone calls immediately - Sent me a quote when they said they would - Quoted me fairly accurately - didn't hold my stuff hostage on the truck and hustle me for $1000 more in cash (or else!) - were 30 minutes late but communicated so by phone 30 minutes before actually being late (I didn't call them, they called me) - Made suggestions on what to do (although i'd argue they were a tad toooo long in making them, at 4 men/hour) Cons: (i'd still use them, but keep in mind:) - They gouged the crap out of 2 pieces of furniture. Not knicks, actual shredded wood. - They dropped an incredibly expensive item (and after that, were angels moving my stuff) I guess with every company you need to expect some knicks, wear and tear, etc; but a firm hand and expectation setting with apologies for being proactive about not messing up your stuff might have helped a bit more. Overall though, when they weren't making suggestions, they were awfully quick, which was nice. read more

I can only assume they didn't want my business. Their estimator can out and spent about 2 hours going through our entire property and trying to put together a good estimate so we wouldn't be overcharged and they wouldn't lose money on the project. The were putting together a move estimate for use from San Jose to Davis, CA. The estimator was friendly and reasonably professional. Which is why when he said he'd have the estimate to me by 12 noon the next day I believed him. The next day there was nothing at noon so I contacted them to see if there was problem. He said he was busy and would need till 5pm that day. Okay fine. By 5pm there was nothing. So I checked in the next morning and he said it would be by 5pm that day. I'm fine with someone taking 2 days to get me an estimate... But tell me it will take two days. If you get it done early I will think you're great and if you get it done on time I will think you're professional... When you push your deadline back twice after you've missed it, I just think you're a flake and it reflects poorly on your company. But that's not the main reason I didn't do business with them. They estimated almost $11,000!!!! to do my move. They assured me that it would probably be less... And they were right, cause there was no way in hell I was hiring them to do it. All said and done it was an expensive move. It ended up costing us about $4,000. But that is nowhere near $11,000. You could have just said "no thank you." and saved us all a lot of time. read more

I scheduled a move for a Sunday, paid a deposit, received the paperwork in the mail and was told the movers would arrive between 8 and 9 am but they never showed up, never called, nothing. Their office is closed on Sundays so I couldn't reach anyone until the next day. (All they said was the new guy made a mistake.) (Update) I had to take a day off from work to move the next day; there's no way I would ever give these guys a second chance! I contacted Fix Price Move on Sunday, the day these guys didn't show up and not only were they less expensive and provided more guys (3 instead of just 2) but they were available the next day, the guy in charge of the move called me to go over the details and gave me his number in case there were any issues. read more

I had a similar experience as Cal and Eve during my move in January. They were supposed to send 3 people, only two showed up - 90 minutes late. They were really slow moving stuff. I had a budget and had worked with their estimator to establish how much could be moved within the allotted time frame. Only half of my furniture was moved (and none of the boxes) and I had to stop them at that point. One of the main reasons it was so slow was because they insisted on using this old small elevator that responds and moves very slowly. They did not use the stairs like Allied did when I originally moved into the place (they were good and quick). I wrote them an email detailing the things that I liked about their service and the things I did not. I invited them to respond back so that they could get more details on how to improve their business. Never heard back from them after they got my money. I am not disputing those who had good experiences, but I think this group of movers is hit or miss. I knocked them down to two stars from three because of this perceived inconsistency. read more

Alright, after a successful move, i decided to get a yelp account just to post this review because i know a lot of people move around in the bay area and hiring a moving company can be stressful. So, my story...moved from san jose to fresno with 2 bedroom condos worth of furnishings. Nothing major. Research phase- called spartan moving who did my last move and i wanted to use them again, but when i got a phone quote, he just spouted out numbers and i was getting lost and confused. He couldn't give me a total price because of all the variables to this move, so i kept looking. Called gopro and chelsea came over and actually did a visual inventory and gave me a price range i could live with. However, from my research of the moving company industry, i remained skeptical about everything. Moving day- 3 man crew shows up right on time and start. They were all very polite and professional. The only gripe i had was they ended up scratching the wall where it could not be ignored. I told the lead guy and he said paint would only cost $10 so he can deduct that from the bill. Really? Try hiring someone to paint that for $10. It aint gonna happen. Texted chelsea and she had a professional painter show up within a week and touch up the paint. This was slight overkill, but a good resolve. Honestly, i would have done it myself if they reduced the bill by like $50, but when he offered $10 that was a little too much if a lowball so i'll let them fix it, which they did. Delivery day- after storing my belongings for 1.5 months, they again showed up on time with a different 2 man crew. Same professional style and they didnt scratch a thing! And all this for just a tad under the quoted estimate!! I felt guilty watching these guys working so hard as i sat on the couch, but thats the point of hiring them. Sean is excellent at returning email inquires in lightning fast speed- 1 star. 2) Your staff wrapped my items with blanket carefully- nothing was damaged- another star. What's bad about you: 1) Your staff was extremely inefficient- it was painful for me to watch how slow everything got moved. Your staff moved 1~2 things at a time with no sense of consolidation or effectiveness. I jumped in and started moving stuff myself. Despite my efforts of packing and stacking boxes up in the closest room to the door. The final cost was $125 more than estimated. Minus 1 star. 2) Per my request, your staff promised to assist in removing the nails on the wall since my tools were packed up. They didn't. Minus 1 star. 3) Your staff didn't have enough carpet runners to cover the carpeted area at the destination, not to mention we were disgusted that the runners were visibly covered with long animal hairs. Your staff also didnt use a seperate clean dolly to bring boxes inside of the house. Consider this was one of the main reasons why I picked you, this is a big disappointment. Minus 1 star. Overall, I would not use you again, nor I'd recommend you to another friend. We used Go Pro recently when we moved from a 2 bed/2 bath apartment to a 3 bed/2.5 bath house a few miles away. While we were evaluating movers, we had Go Pro come out to our apartment for a consultation and estimate. The representative walked around our apartment for a few minutes and said he would send us a quote by email. The quote arrived, it was reasonable, and we scheduled our move. The move went pretty poorly. They only sent 2 guys to move an entire apartment. It took them 4 hours to move our stuff into the truck, and then 4 more hours - and 2 more guys - to unload into our new house. Not only that, they also took a sizable chunk out of one of our walls moving something in. Of course, there were all sorts of extra fees involved with the extra people and extra time. In the end, they were more than DOUBLE the price they quoted us, and we now have to fix the wall they damaged. The only plus side was that the movers were very hardworking and courteous. I don't know that I would work with Go Pro again. read more

These guys rock! We had to relocate for work and I was super stressed because my husband couldn't help me much with moving; so I called these guys to ask about Prices and offered to go to my house to give me an estimate. Chelsey showed up in my house at the time of our appointment and asked me some questions and started to check the contents of my house, within 10-15 she was done. She offered me the service of packing, but I said no I would like to do it myself, and I asked her how many boxes would I need and she said 60 total, because you would want to put everything in a box. I thought it was exaggerated, but she was so acurate!! I counted the boxes at the end of the Moving and I used 62boxes! Anyway, moving day rolls in and The crew showed up in my house, Many I believe is his name (sorry!) a really nice men and two other guys, they started to take boxes and furniture room by room, they were so organized and careful with everything. They took care of every detail I was so happy, because I was overwhelmed about the moving nut they made everything so easy! I would not hesitate to call them again for our next move! My husband and I learned of this company partially from this review list and partially from his job's "list of shiny businesses." After checking out their website and the reviews - the one my husband remembers most mentions that the reviewer used Go Pro for three different moves - we decided to contact them for our oh so extensive impending move (we moved about 1/8 mile into the next apartment building over, heh). Now, we're shy and geeky, so one big bonus for any company we do business with is when we can contact them and make arrangements without using one of those dreaded "phone" devices. Yay for moving arrangements made via email and quickly! The initial email and the date of the move were only 8 days apart, and this included some outage that they experienced with email. We received an estimate for about four hours of moving time, and the move was completed in two and a half hours. All of our stuff came to the new place in excellent condition, and our piece of shit couch actually was in better condition, since they had bothered to figure out the connecting mechanism better than the previous folks who moved our crap. Their prices were far better than four other local (and reputable) moving companies, and what we liked most about that was that including an extra "man" (well, they DID send all males) was done at a discounted-ish rate, not a multiple of what one would cost. This may seem culturist, fine, but it meant a lot to us that everyone spoke English. It makes communicating far easier when that's the language that we speak. About a year ago, when we originally moved into the apartment that we just moved out of, only one of the movers spoke any English at all so all directions had to go through that gentleman. I can imagine scenarios where something is missing, broken, or just plain in the wrong place that communication in a common language can help solve. Oh, the guys all took the time to introduce themselves and they all had firm handshakes. Call me odd, but that sort of thing strikes me as well-mannered and puts me at ease when dealing with people, especially people who are about to move my crap and receive money. After my second great experience with Go Pro, I thought it was time to write a review. I first had Go Pro help me move in July 2011 and most recently in April 2013. In both cases, the process when smoothly - set up appt. and got quote taken care over phone (confirmation via email) and a crew of 3 folks showed up promptly, if not early, on the moving date. I pre-packed all my belongings and only had them help with moving the boxes from place to place, which in my case included 3 floors of stairs. But I'll keep in mind that they do come with some of those closet boxes and really big boxes for those awkward items, which can come really in handy.They wrapped my furniture in blankets and disassembled when possible. Everyone was very nice and professional, worked efficiently and helped me to make sure I got everything I needed taken care of. Since I live in apartment buildings, this is even more important since we are dealing with moving the truck for the neighbors cars etc. Each time I had a different crew, and both were just as professional, thoughtful, and efficient. I couldn't ask for anything more, and I will definitely keep calling them again. read more

These guys are the best movers. I have moved four times in last 5 years and my experience was never so good as it was with GoPro. My move was from Santa Clara 3rd floor to Evergreen Home and they finished in less than 4 hours ..believe me, I had lots of stuff and I was expecting to go for 5/6 hours.. it's a right balance of professionalism and cost effectiveness. From the time I asked for quote, until the finish line crossed, these guys are awesome and you will not have to worry. In fact they finished the job in less than the initial quote which normally I have not see in Movers business. They were extremely courteous , very punctual and always on move. This review is only for the movers themselves and Sean. SO.. the morning of my move at 8:30 am, Danny, the manager, told me he didn't have a crew to disassemble/reassemble crew, because there was no communication on behalf of the administration. As you can tell, I was about to have a panic attack. After calling at least 5 times and confirming the day before whether there would be a moving crew that would be able to work with cubicles, they spring this horrible catastrophe on me. I was scrambling and all hell broke loose. Therefore, the administration team gets 1 STAR. We eventually worked something out, and Sean found some cubicle movers that were super efficient and made everything work out. As for the movers, these guys were awesome! They were all very polite and helpful and did everything we asked them too. I felt horrible because they had no idea what kind of office they were walking into. (We had at least 300 boxes, 4 offices, a conference room). With everything we had, we had a 12 HOUR MOVE.. yes, a 12 hour move! These guys never once complained or anything, they should really be commended (and paid overtime) by their company! As for using them next time, probably not. The whole administration part really irked me, but they did end up fixing it, but it was just a whole drama I didn't need for a moving day, especially for an office. But, the movers themselves made it enjoyable to move during a stressful day. read more

Had scheduled a quote for a move, setup an appointment with one of their inspectors, but 3 hours later, no call, and a no show. Got a call the next day explaining that one of their crew guys got hurt, and the inspector needed to lend a hand, so understandable, but a phone call, at a minimum, is required. Anyway, quoted me about 2x the amount I was willing to pay for the move, and I decided to seek out alternatives. However, on the plus side, I was fairly certain that these guys wouldn't jerk you around on the move, and would have treated me with respect, had I gone with them. read more

One bedroom apt move from San Jose to Mt. View during one of biggest periods of rain in the bay area in recent years. They had to reschedule my original time/day of move because of uncontrollable weather related events..no big deal. Great movers...they are clean, friendly, professional, courteous, and considerate. Any type of a move is stressful, Chris and the movers from Go Pro made it so much easier. I had everything packed up and ready to go..they hauled everything in their truck, transported, and delivered to my new place within three hours. I highly recommend them. Based on these reviews, I was expecting a lot from Pro Moving and unfortunately found they didn't quite meet our expectations. My husband and I have moved a lot in the last few yrs, so we have become somewhat experts in moving. If you have a small apartment, perhaps they are okay but I wouldn't use them if you are moving an entire house or have lots of furniture. Overall they are a safe option but not the best we've had. Pros- Honest, timely, don't overcharge you, nothing broke, no hidden charges. Nice guys. Cons- Not as efficient and fast as previous movers we've had. As a reference point, they took almost twice as long as my corporate movers. They are pretty young and do not seem as experienced. Only brought 3 wardrobe boxes which was not nearly enough for all our closets, so be sure to specify what you need. read more

What kind of review do you give to a mover who never showed up? They stood me up. Just like junior prom, I was left high and dry. If you don't really care when your mover shows up....or if they show up at all...then Go Pro! Otherwise, hire someone else. These guys blew. I had to scramble at the last minute and find some other mover. Go Pro simply said sorry, they made a scheduling error. They are all bad. Instead of stars, yelp should use fingers.
