Nature provided a bedbug assessment and extermination in our two bedroom apartment…read more Martin provided no real inspection to confirm that we had bed bugs. He did not check our rooms or look at the bugs we had found. During our extermination, we showed our exterminator Mario our bugs, and he said that they were "definitely not bedbugs." Mario, who performed our extermination, was extremely rude and lazy. He refused to do basic tasks like bundling up the piles of extension cords he left in our hallway and was never in our unit for more than half an hour. He loudly complained and swore constantly while in our apartment and called us "fucking kids" over and over again. The exterminators also ran our heat treatment for 48 hours, which they admitted was twice as long as necessary, making the apartment extremely uncomfortable and costing us twice as much on our electric bill. They provided no materials on how to prepare our apartment before treatment, or what to do after and their advice was inconsistent. Before our landlord had offered to coordinate our extermination, I spoke to several pest control companies in the city. All of them quoted me far less for similar or better services. I trusted their recommendation and did not want to delay treatment for the sake of ourselves and our neighbours. After our extermination, I would not recommend Nature to anyone needing pest control services.

While I understand that there's a cost to doing business, I fully believe that they could have easily told us it was $60/foot for trenching. Or given a ballpark advising that most jobs cost anywhere between 5000-7000. Instead we wasted $100 to hear that it was completely out of range. I cannot speak to the work they provide, as I'm sure they do a fine job; however, I wanted to make others aware of the general cost so they aren't blindsided with the enormous quote. We've recently found friends who have had theirs done for a fraction of the cost. There are also other companies that are willing to provide estimates for free. Overall disappointed with the lack of transparency.

Irregardless of this, it is beyond comprehension that $5,000.00 could be spent to remediate a bat problem and that the issue would come back so quickly. Do not give this company your money.

So between me and my mom we started to move got a truck, throw out about 10gs of furniture and stuff that i just couldn't take the chance. Apon arriving at my x's house with a truck and a PODS ready to go.. This AMAZING MAN met me in the lot and sprayed each piece of my furniture as it went to the pod. We saved as much as we could and he bombed the big truck. he sent his whole day with me and my mom calming me while i was so emotional and spend half the time in tears. he made what was happening more barrable and kept telling me it was going to be ok.... What he did saved my life, oh and have I mentioned i was a single mother. ya this man went above and beyond for me... Their are zero words... After 28 days of sleeping in garbage bags of clothes with my daughter in my moms basement we found a place. He came and sprayed the new place to be sure we didn't take anything with us.. since that day I have moved another 2 times and both times he came and spray both houses before we moved in. I actually just bought my first home and again im looking to use his services which is why im here writing this. The most craziest part is that this man has been around my personal belongings, left alone with several purses, money laying around and expensive belongings. Never once did i feel the need to hide anything, he is so trustable, hes been alone in my houses several times. So on that last review saying hes untrustable is by far the craziest thing I've ever read. Later, when I couldn't fix the stove error, I called him hoping he could fix it or pay for the bill if I find some technician to fix it, he got all angry and rude, refusing to take any responsibility. He said I could not prove that the stove worked before he came (but he witnessed the whole beeping thing, he knew he lied), he called me a sneaky person and repeatedly tell me 'sue me if you want', then he hang up on me. All this time I am very polite but he keeps insulting me because he is afraid to pay for the stove repair bills!
