He was generous with his time, and he was frank with me about what treatments were unneeded and just a waste of money. When he came during the right season for my cluster flies and ducts and airways treatments (mid-September), he did a great job. I've noticed a considerable reduction in my insects coming out of the baseboards and walls since then. I'll definitely be calling him back in the spring for a follow-up. Honest guy, highly recommended.

Made an appointment for the next day and he arrived on time (which is rare these days). He had to remove the stuff my husband had used to block the holes the wasps were using and then sprayed in 4 or 5 areas. He explained we were not to fill the holes until a week or so. I haven't seen a wasp since and his price was well worth it. Very nice man, great job.

We bought a multi-unit building in 2016 and have steadily improved it. One of the first things I looked into was insulation. The building is old. The new unit we added immediately made the basement the warmest and most temperate floor. We weren't going to do a full reno on the ground floor so we decided to do "drill & fill" with cellulose for sound deadening. They were excellent. We did have a miscommunication about one cavity that was accidentally filled but this was professionally rectified. Just last year it was time to do the attic. We thought about saving money and doing it ourselves. Just before renting the equipment and sourcing the insulation at Home Depot I have them a call for a quote. It was off-season but the quote blew me away. Like with our previous renos, their pricing was extremely aggressive and I said yes right away. The man (Reggie, if I remember correctly) and woman who showed up to do the blown-in cellulose were great. Total pros who even spotted a few issues in the attic and addressed them on the spot! One was that a previous contractor installed an incorrect venting tube and replaced it. These guys are total pros. I'm a landlord and also have family who are real estate investors. We all agree that the OReilly Brothers are like a well-oiled machine. Other companies, from our experience, don't have the systems in place to do the quality work for such fair pricing. Called Skedaddle and they agreed to send someone out that weekend - pretty impressive for Easter. Ollie from Skedaddle arrived with a workmate, sporting N95 masks and taking full COVID-19 precautions (which I guess are also required when dealing with wildlife too). Payment was also contactless and over the phone. The Skedaddle team removed the nest, disinfected the vent work and put a custom-made screen in place (made-to-measure in their truck). We also noticed a few other vents in need of love and Ollie kindly agreed to take care of those too. Ollie's calm, professional and explanatory approach to our problem greatly reassured my partner, who was freaking out a bit at the thought of our unwanted guests settling in. All things considered, using Skedaddle was a smooth and pleasant experience and we would recommend them to anyone with unwelcome critters trying to move in!

Nature provided a bedbug assessment and extermination in our two bedroom apartment…read more Martin provided no real inspection to confirm that we had bed bugs. He did not check our rooms or look at the bugs we had found. During our extermination, we showed our exterminator Mario our bugs, and he said that they were "definitely not bedbugs." Mario, who performed our extermination, was extremely rude and lazy. He refused to do basic tasks like bundling up the piles of extension cords he left in our hallway and was never in our unit for more than half an hour. He loudly complained and swore constantly while in our apartment and called us "fucking kids" over and over again. The exterminators also ran our heat treatment for 48 hours, which they admitted was twice as long as necessary, making the apartment extremely uncomfortable and costing us twice as much on our electric bill. They provided no materials on how to prepare our apartment before treatment, or what to do after and their advice was inconsistent. Before our landlord had offered to coordinate our extermination, I spoke to several pest control companies in the city. All of them quoted me far less for similar or better services. I trusted their recommendation and did not want to delay treatment for the sake of ourselves and our neighbours. After our extermination, I would not recommend Nature to anyone needing pest control services.

With my new lawn, I thought I would get some professional help to kill the white grubs. I signed up for the fertilizer / weed control program with the optional white grub treatment. Now at the end of the summer my lawn looks fantastic, no weeds or grubs! I had my doubts as to how well the weed control and grub treatment would perform since Ottawa has strict pesticide rules. As I mentioned though, my lawn doesn't have any weeds or grubs so the products they are using worked great. The fertilizer kept my lawn plush and green all summer too. The customer service is great as well! I have called for information on a few things and they have always taken the time to answer all my questions. I never felt rushed off the phone. One gentleman even went to Canadian Tire to check out some products for me! Like I said, very impressed with these guys and can't recommend them enough.
