These people are crooks. I prepaid for Quartzite slab and never received the product. They promised a refund and never received it. My attorney filed a demand letter. Shame on me for not looking at the reviews. I love the granite but not happy with the way it was installed or the process of installation. Update 3/12/18. The owner came by within a couple of days after seeing this review and asked what could be done to make things right. I wasn't sure without ripping everything out but suggested at the very least the bar, which was supposed to be extended, be replaced. She said she was having minor surgery the week following but would talk to her installers and would be back in touch. I hope her surgery went well but I'm still waiting. I found out about go-granite from another soccer parent. I had a relatively small multipart job and was planning on using a prior contractor. I decided to at least get a quote and give them a chance. So glad we did... same materials at lower cost and they knocked out the job within a week. Daneya was extremely responsive at all times, pre-job, post and even during off hours. The installers were great and I would definitely recommend the team to anyone looking for granite or marble installs, or a farmhouse sink retro install. Owner takes no accountability for mistakes... I ordered a backsplash for my kitchen from Go-Granite. Materials were great, but we found out that they bought them at Lowe's. They also hired an external crew at the last minute, because all of their people were out of town. Communication and customer service was a serious problem. They fail to notify you of delays, don't return calls, don't answer e-mails, don't tell you about all of the additional work that has to be done after the initial install. We missed work, had to cancel plans and chase Go-Granite to get our job completed. Had we not made the initial deposit, I would have just found a new company to do it. The owner offers a lot of attitude and blame when you finally do get her on the phone. I was shocked at her behavior - she actually blamed me for the issues because I had requested an additional set of tiles to be added, which she said was not a problem when I called and asked for them. After all of the mishaps with my job and the lack of accountability with the company/owner, I would not recommend this company for any type of work. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Pricing is good but not good enough for inferior workmanship and quality standards let alone poor communication and unprofessional attitudes. I was referred to Go Granite by a realtor partner/friend of mine so I didnt do my homework on these guys like I usually do, first mistake. Where to start.. I had my new counters installed in January of 2018. The pricing was about 5% less than another company that bid the job so I gave it to Go Granite despite the weak communication/customer service in the initial consultations, 2nd mistake. Finally through some back and forth and compromise the job was finished. I immediately noticed some craftsmanship that i wasnt happy about including but not limited to the installations of the sink. If I were more savvy about these things I would have had them re-do the sinks at the very least, mistake #3. This Monday night at 2am my 60/40 sink that was incorrectly installed fell to the ground half full of water and dishes setting off the glass breaks on my alarm and causing one hell of a commotion. Luckily i am a terrible shot and my boxers are big babies so the sink survived. I called Go Granite the next morning. They absolutely did not care. Now i did my homework before reaching out to them. And under no ones recommendation is it okay to only use an adhesive to secure a bottom mount sink (onto any surface). Some means of mechanical securement is required. I have talked to contractors, I have talked to inspectors, I have researched on line.. no one, anywhere states anything in this regard EXCEPT THERE MUST BE A MECHANICAL MEANS OF SECUREMENT! I am stressing this because i gave Go Granite the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was a weak crew i had or maybe they just forgot (on BOTH SINKS - bar/kitchen) but they stated that their standard installation method for bottom mount sinks is adhesive only. now you dont need to be an engineer to see this could be a problem. i have a 25 gallon sink that when full weighs over 200lbs. they used only 6 dabs of adhesive to secure this. so not only did they do shoddy work but when it was pointed out they suggested that it was my fault for putting too much water in my sink. They wanted to charge the crap out of me to come out here and fix it (when they could). They offered to charge me half their normal fee BUT THAT WAS MORE than the company that came an fixed it that night (who used metal braces to support the weight)... and they werent going to touch the damaged plumbing from the sink falling. The only reason they are still in business is situations like mine.. not doing my homework first. BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

Warning! Warning! Warning! Do not buy from these people!!!!! They do not stand by their product. We put marble in our kitchen and it was gorgeous until we set anything on the countertop!!! If scratched, if stained, it marked, just horrible. We found out later from a reputable and customer caring granite shop that he would NEVER recommend marble in a kitchen. I see Derek's review below. I am not sure if Derek wrote it or Denai his wife. But DEREK has never set foot in my house. and never will. Let's be clear here. I called this company several times and never received any response. Only after I found them AFTER they moved their business and created this review did anyone respond. Makes one wonder what happened. Once Denai Came to my house I was handed a powder and told to "take my cordless drill and apply this substance and it should fix the problem. Likewise I was handed a jar of clear liquid and told it was sealed and to again apply it myself." Relative to your comment about the juicer. We bought the juicer about 6 months after the kitchen was remodeled. There are water stain damages and other stains over the ENTIRE surface. And most of it occurred within the first 30 days. Either this was a poor stone, poor choice, or the final workmanship was not completed correctly. Regardless I have given you ample opportunities to make it correct. Including paying for new stone if you would cover all the labor. But now all is off the table. read more

Go Granite is a great provider of a huge selection of well prices stone. Daney has a designer's eye for colors and style and is a big help in picking the perfect stone for your space. No job is too big or too small for this group they are flexible, fast, dependable and provide excellent customer service. They work within your budget and give you good choices in that price range and never try to sell you on something else. I had 3 different bathrooms done by them with 2 different kinds of stone and everything was flawless on their end. They worked with my time frames and were responsive to all of my concerns and issues. They were real professionals but provided just enough of that warm personal touch that you felt as if you had been helped by a friend in the business. I would use them again and I have recommended them to my friends. If anyone installs marble without knowing how delicate it is then that is there own fault. This is a great company who gives great service and will also give great advice as well as give a customer what they ask for...and what more can you ask for than that. read more

We purchased granite from Go Granite recently the CS was horrible, would not return emails, calls and etc. The installation of the granite was bad, the seam line (is at the sink which they suggested and we agreed to unbestknown to us that is the worst possible spot to put your seam) is very noticeable, it is wide and not cut straight, along 1 wall there is a " between the wall and granite because it was not cut straight. When I talked to the owner was told that was the way it was, sent pics she told me she would get back to me and still have not heard from her. We have had 3 granite installers come out to try and correct the issues and they told us this must have been done by folks who didn't know what they were doing. I would strongly recommend not using them horrible workmanship and customer service from the owner. So please check around before using them and just as a FYI they will give you a discount if you write good things about them in the review sections of some sites. read more

There were instances of multiple surgeries, saw blades breaking or not being able to get reception for days to due being in an isolated area. I will never use this company and will never recommend anyone either. Reputable businesses don't have to resort to inducements for positive reviews. She's using an illegal practice of offering a "discount" if someone writes a "positive" review of her business. This is against the Federal Trade Commission rules and will be subjected to fines and other retribution if she continues this practice. July 2014 we ordered granite counter tops for the reception area of our school. When the granite arrived for installation it wasn't deep enough to fit the space. There was a 1 inch gap between the counter and the back of the reception wall. When I contacted Daneya, her initial response was that they had cut the granite per the measurements her company had taken and they would leave it with the gap at the back of the counter. I told her that was unacceptable. She told me to get some cork board to put against the back splash to cover the gap. It wasn't until I stated that I believed that she had knowingly sent us a product that was one inch less than it was supposed to be and we were charged for and only got caught because each end of the counter top has built in drawers so they couldn't butt the edges up against the wall without seeing that the granite wasn't wide enough that she said, "the granite that we used had an occlusion so we had to cut it where we did." At that point I told her that it wasn't my problem that there was something wrong with the granite that her company had selected and ordered for our counter tops. She continued to try to push me to accept it as it was and put corkboard or drywall at the back of the counter to cover the missing granite. I stated that I expected her to either replace the counter top with the initially agreed upon granite that would properly fit or leave the counter top and add a granite backsplash to match so it would look as though it was supposed to have been there. She continued to state that it would cost her company too much money to fix it and I should accept the installation as it was. Several days later she returned my call and said they would install a 2 to 4 inch backsplash. I told her that was unacceptable because it would take away from the look we were creating in the space. It needed to either be a counter top equivalent to the one we'd ordered and paid for or leave the counter top and add a full backsplash to fill the space. A few weeks later she sent installers with the narrow backsplash that I'd told her was unacceptable. The installers tried for several hours to contact her and their calls were not returned. For the past few months we've contacted her on several occasions and have been given multiple excuses ("my daughter has been sick", "I've been sick", "my relatives have been sick", "my father-in-law died", etc.). While these may be valid personal issues, they don't serve to excuse other employees in the company from correcting the shoddy job we've been dealing with since this summer. Last week Daneya sent a man to install drywall. When he arrived, he stated "he had been sent to install drywall to cover the 8 inch hole in our kitchen wall". Our receptionist was perplexed because we don't have any holes in our kitchen. When she contacted Daneya, she was told that one of our employees had approved installation of a textured backsplash in the area that the granite was supposed to be installed. When the employee Daneya said had "approved" the installation was questioned it was discovered that no such conversation had taken place. We have had several instances of Daneya telling one of our employees that another had "approved" something she was doing. Each time it has been discovered that she has been untruthful. It is now the middle of October and we still have not had the situation corrected by Daneya and her company, Go-Granite.com. read more

Absolutely horrible company - we contacted them Nov 12 to get granite for our laundry room and they assured us getting it in before Christmas (when my out-of-country family was coming to stay with us) would be no problem. Famous last words. After a super quick quote I thought we were good to go. So far from the truth. I had to follow up to get the actual contract after telling them yes we wanted to go ahead. Still took 3 days. She told me they'd send someone to do the measurements in a couple days. A week later had to contact again to make sure they got the sketch with the dimensions etc. She didn't even know who I was, got me confused with another customer. Two weeks later (after paying ahead), still no word, contacted them again and was told they'd do the measurements Fri (3 more days). She came and measured, sort of, and looked at our kitchen granite to confirm the right color choice as our laundry is off the kitchen and we wanted it to match. A week later still nothing, contacted her again - all kinds of excuses about her personal issues, truck and tools being stolen etc. Told us she had us down for Dec. 21 (so this has been a month and a week now). They contacted us 4 days early (Dec 17) saying they could do it then, we said great come on over. The guys get here to install and the granite was cut completely wrong. Installer blamed measurer (owner), owner blamed installer etc. Told us they'd be there Monday the 20th with the granite. By 2:30 hadn't heard anything. Contacted again, more excuses (water lines this time), said they'd be there Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon they say they'll bring it on the way home from the shop. 6:30pm get a text from the installer asking if the am would be better, I said no because I was picking my family up at the airport in the am, told him to still come tonight. He finally arrived at 8:30pm. This time it was the wrong color, and 2 pieces not 1 as they'd promised. They also wanted to cut a hole in our wall because it wasn't cut right. All kinds of BS excuses about granite being different - we know that, but we can also see the difference between white and gold. More days of BS where he would have to do a template to cut it right (like duh, they were supposed to do that in Nov when they first came), then he didn't have template materials, blah blah blah. THEN after 1.5 months of this insanity she had the nerve to say she'd rather just refund our money. Hell no - you made a commitment and put us through hoops for 6 weeks you can dang well come through. Not to mention if that was an option a month prior we would have jumped on it to have our granite in time for Christmas but instead they played games and strung us along. So then they tell us they'll do it on the 26th (yes, after Christmas), as usual nothing. So we contact them, she says she gave the guys the day off they'll come the next day. Finally on Dec. 27 we actually got our granite, lost half a day of showing our family around Texas and all kinds of hassle - the color was still not a good match but we were sick of the process and wanted it over. It's cheap and you get what you pay for. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they are hacks! I actually forgot to leave this review since it was the holidays and we had company, until someone asked for a referral and it reminded me how awful they were. read more

I had the same experience. They are good at selling you, but once they get the deposite, you would not believe the excuses they had. If you have all the time in the world, go ahead, but if you need for promises to be kept, look around some more. Also, insist on keeping the extra granite. You pay for slabs, so keep the extra. you can make cutting boards, stack pieces for cheese and crackers and finger foods. All the nice cheer is for you before you give the deposite! read more
