The first two contractors were less than ideal and MK Construction was fantastic. We'll never have another contractor! They did a kitchen expansion and remodel with a outside deck and retaining wall. Matt is an amazing communicator, very organized and schedule and just honest and straightforward. His crew arrived at the same time every day, were friendly, polite, hardworking and easy to be around. We opted to live in the house when the construction was ongoing and "cook" in our basement. The house/construction site, was cleaned up every day, Matt checked in with me about what was taking place every day, and when my son's monster truck fell under the stairs they were building, they pulled up boards to recover it. They almost always do just one job at a time, so they are your contractors during the scope of your job. If they do have finishes on other jobs they will let you know ahead of time, and will be very clear on when they will spend a day on another job. The work is great and we love our new kitchen and deck! Couldn't ask for a better crew. Matt also project manages everything. They handle the big details (like a fantastic subcontractor who did a great wood floor) and the small details (a designer referred us to wood cabinets that were missing pieces and Matt followed up and made sure everything was fixed and delivered).
