The price is right and they were prompt on my round trip. That warrants at least a 4 stars. However, I found the shuttles cramp and uncomfortable for long distance. Go Express Travel offers a few destinations at Indiana universities. Booking online was easy and an immediate confirmation came across on my email. The charge for Indy airport to Bloomington was $23. They also offer other options for transportation such as small groups and private chauffeur in luxury vehicles. The shuttles were clean, drivers friendly and they also assisted with bags which were no additional cost. Tipping the driver is permitted. The pick up at the Indianapolis airport is across from baggage claim in another building a short distance. A representative is on site. They offer pick-up at a few different sites in town. I also had interaction with someone over the phone which was handled quickly and professionally. Many companies falter here, but they did not and that was huge for me. I would use them again and recommend. Reliable service is not always easy to come by and Go Express delivered. read more

I purchased a 87dollars ticket from Indiana to bloomington and I have it cancelled cuz of flight delays so it gave us credits back as a refund. However, when I tried to use the credits for booking for the next travel, I have only used 29dollars as I was travelling alone. My son uses them all the time and has never had a problem. BUT today. . . I had a ticket to get the shuttle from the Indianapolis Airport to Bloomington. I sat RIGHT next to the sign for the shuttle. A bus parked a way down from the sign but it did not say Bloomington or shuttle. A man got off the bus and then got back on and left. He ever asked me if I had a reservation -which I did. I called the company to see if I had missed the shuttle or if they were late. The woman said they had been there and left. I said it had no identification that this was the shuttle to Bloomington. She replied that there are pictures of the bus in our website. I made the reservation at 11 pm after a long international flight! Never occurred to be to look at bus pictures!!! I said Every Other bus, van, Uber, etc has some identification on it to where it's going. She offered to put me in a later shuttle but I told her I have to be in Bloomington before that. I was not aware that you could publish a price online, advertise it around the airport and then have it posted in a big green sign in front of the desk where you buy a ticket==$12.00. Then when you buy the ticket, it is suddenly $13.00! Nothing posted to explain this "extra charge." Now, one dollar is no big deal and the benign Muslim woman in a burqa at the desk told me, if I had bought the ticket online, it would have been $10. The ride, itself, was fine. It drops and picks up in the shuttle area at the Indianapolis Airport. My driver-- wonderful, personable Sir Mark--was great. He left on time and dropped me at the downtown Indy stop by my hotel right on schedule. His excellent service makes up for the questionable business practices exhibited by the company. Once I arrived home, before beginning this Yelp, I called the GO Express toll-free number to inquire about their misleading prices. The person on the phone told me that is their NEW price but they hadn't gotten around to changing the signs out yet. Therefore, Go Express should have honored the POSTED PRICE, IMO. I asked if the business was affiliated with the Indy Airport or was privately owned, because the Airport should know about this monkey business. Go Express is privately owned. As I mentioned, one dollar is no big deal but there are a lot of public and private colleges and Universities in the Indy area. Many students don't live large; budget travelers and visitors should not be surprised about costs posted and advertised that are not accurate. Transparency in business practices is to be expected--particularly by a shuttle service that requires DOT (Dept. of Transportation) inspection and approval. It is lucky for GO Express that I look kindly on anything eco-friendly that helps move people around and takes gas-guzzlers off the road. My son travelled in their shuttle from IND airport to Bloomington , driver took the hand luggage because there is no room in the shuttle, when he got down at his 3rd stop luggage was missing . When he asked the driver he said he don't know. We called and requested the customer service and their response was very poor, when are asking them questions they respond " you are rude" , when we lost our valuables we tend to worry and ask what they did and they divert this to different argument (saying rude) as they are not interested in customer who completed their ride ? when we ask what they did to find the luggage, they say its company policy and we don't need to disclose how and what we did. Very very poor response and they say they are not responsible. When some one took your luggage and kept inside, if they don't handed back , were they not responsible ? I had attempted to book online and had trouble with the website. I assumed I could purchase at ground transportation, but when I reached the shuttle stand, nobody was there. Luckily there was a kiosk. You know what that kiosk does? It makes you enter your information and then sends a link to your phone. So you can... order a ticket on their website?? Terribly unhelpful. I did manage to get a confirmation. I then waited for 30 minutes in the cold because I kept thinking the shuttle would be the next one. One did arrive! The driver unloaded a couple people and drove away without looking at me. At that point, I went inside and someone was at the desk. I asked for a refund and was told that they can't do that there. I needed to call the office. I called the office and it was closed, so I left a message. I never received a call back. After three calls, I spoke to someone who told me they can only process refunds on their website. Interestingly, the refund request form is located under "About Us." :::thinking face emoji::: I submitted that form weeks ago and have not hear a peep out of this company, but my credit card bill is due. So. I guess I'll be eating that expense. A terrible experience from beginning to end. Pro tip: A Lyft from the IND airport to downtown is about 6 dollars more than the shuttle. It picks up closer to the doorways and actually takes you where you want to go. read more

This is a relatively new service to get to specific destinations in Indianapolis from the International Airport and back. And it is of limited utility merely because it only runs between 8am and 11pm for airport transportation. That said it is rather affordable at only $10 each way between downtown Indianapolis and the airport which is a rather good deal provided that your flights are at a reasonable time to take advantage of this service. I made an error in my online booking and while I had to call twice to fix it, their staff and twitter account maintainers are really helpful and did not charge a change fee to move my reservation to the correct date so that was muchly appreciated! Additionally, the driver was really polite and understanding when there were passengers who quite honestly didn't understand the prepayment policies. This form of transit is also really wheelchair accessible as a passenger with a wheelchair that had a TALL pole attached to it was able to get in and have her chair transported via this shuttle as well! It was much faster than I expected for a budget transportation option such as this one. This was wonderful. read more

I used Go Express bus from Indianapolis Airport to IU-Bloomington and it was excellent. The cost was $23 and the trip took about 1 hour to 1hour 10 minutes. The bus or shuttle runs every hour and that is really convenient. It also runs the reverse route from IU-Bloomington to Indianapolis Airport. The driver was safe and she politely explained to me the route I would drive in a rental car back to Indianapolis. I'm so glad my friend told me about Go Express Travel before I headed to the airport. It was easy to sign up - just go online, pick your time, select a pick up location, and pay the $10 and you're good to go. Much cheaper than a taxi or Uber. The shuttle picked me up and then made a couple other stops before heading to the airport. When you register it asks what time you want to get to the airport and then it takes into consideration the other stops and tells you when you should be ready to get picked up. It was a very simple and painless process for me and definitely helped with the coordination of travel arrangements. I booked my shuttle online the day before and did not experience any problems. The 8am shuttle arrived around 7 minutes early and left on time. It was in pretty good condition and there was not any visible trash. The driver was patient while another patron and I retrieved our confirmation numbers on our phones. She wasn't exactly friendly but wasn't impolite either. The only problems with Go Express are their hours and limited amount of stops. I had to wait almost 3 hours before I could take their earliest shuttle. They only have 8 stops but at $10, is was cheaper for me to take this shuttle and then an Uber to my final destination as opposed to taking a taxi the whole way. read more

I purchased a roundtrip shuttle ride from the Iairport to the Courtyard Marriott which GO Express considers part of the Marriott complex and drops riders two blocks away at the JW Marriott. While this is implied on the reservation confirmation it is not clear that the drop off is blocks from the destination. I called Go Express to complain and cancel my return reservation only to be advised no refunds were allowed, although no where is this noted on the confirmation. And to add insult to injury, the response to complaint was simply ignored with no satisfactory response. Do not use GO Express. While the service is cheap, you get what you pay for. read more

If you are looking for transportation from/to a downtown hotel from the airport at the best rate then Go Express Travel Shuttle is great. They do not pick up or drop off at your hotel but at a nearby curbside stop indicated by their Go Express signs. It's really easy to find and use. I was staying at the Marriott Downtown across from the Convention Center and was dropped off at stop #2. I figured out that an easy way back from the Marriott to the airport was to reserve my seat and get picked up at the last stop #9 at the JW Marriott (only one block walk from the Marriott) downtown. Then I did not have to ride around downtown and off we rent to the airport. They have an easy online reservation service to guarantee your seat. read more

It was easy to book online, the directions were perfect to finding them at the airport and the van was very clean. I arrived early and the driver made me feel welcomed as his van was not full so I was able to get on the early van. The price is very good, substantially less expensive than a taxi. I travel all over the country for work and this is perhaps the worst run airport shuttle I know. As an employee of Indiana university, I have suggested the school no longer work with this service. For instance: Today I purchased a ticket and got on the bus early to make sure I had a seat. Then right before the bus was scheduled to leave, the driver says there are too many people and they need a volunteer to stay behind. I offer to get off if I can receive a refund. After exiting the bus, I go to the counter and am told refunds are not possible because I used a credit card. This is not an isolated incident as I have had issues in the past. MY SHUTTLE NEVER ARRIVED. I flew from LA on two separate flights to arrive at a surprise party by 6pm. When I got to the shuttle waiting area at 4:15, I met two people who had been waiting over an hour. I called into GoExpress, and was told one of the shuttles was broken, and wouldn't be arriving until after 5:00pm at the latest. It never came. I had to take a Lyft, which I couldn't afford. I realize this sort of thing happens, but AFTER 3 CALLS AND TALKING TO THE ATTENDANT AT THE AIRPORT, NO ONE APOLOGIZED FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. NO ONE. I am a very forgiving customer, having worked in service for years. I understand. But you need to know the very first thing you should do when you do not provide the service you promised IS APOLOGIZE. I want a full refund NOW please. read more

I travel almost every week for work, but had not been to Indy lately. Glad I found the Go Express bus online- it made for one of the easiest and most cost effective airport to city travel solutions I have experienced lately. You can easily reserve a seat online, one way or round trip, and only $10 each way. I booked mine using my cell phone when I landed, though it turns out I could have also done a walk up and paid on the bus using a credit card (but you get priority if the bus is full if you reserve in advance). The return trip was easy- the stops are all known in advance on a loop, so, unlike a shared airport shuttle, there are no timing surprises. Overall, it just worked. read more

"Go Express"??! There is absolutely NOTHING express about this bus service. The name might as well be "Go to Hell" since this company treats you as if you stole their bike. I would give the bus service a negative zero rating if a could, but alas...that is not an option. This Friday, I had the distinct unpleasure to rely on Go Express shuttle transportation services from Downtown Indianapolis to Bloomington. The bus did NOT arrive on schedule -- in fact it was more than an hour late. I frequently checked their website for the shuttle's location...wasn't helpful at all. When I called their customer service department to ask for the shuttle ETA, the agent told me that she doesn't really know. She suggested I checked the website. When I informed her that I already did -- multiple times - she then revealed that she doesn't really know about this particular shuttle route, since she normally works on other routes. To say that I am over this company is an understatement. Not only did the customer service raise my blood pressure, the lateness of the bus is inexcusable. If you have any time and are mentally competent- I strongly advise that you do NOT take this company. Will it get you to your location? Sure. When will you get there? Who knows. read more

This is the absolute worst service ever. My son was waiting for the bus at the spot that they say they will be at in their contract. The bus was across the street, never pulled up, and then left. When I called over the woman over there said that this time they had to walk across the street and said my son was irresponsible for not walking across the street where he has NEVER had the bus stop before. $10 is pretty cheap compare to other shuttle companies on their cost. I wasn't aware that the reservation is good for 24-hour period of time. My flight was delayed and I was so worried that my reservation would be canceled so I called the office right away when I landed and was surprised to find out that the office doesn't open until 8:30am and yet their first shuttle service starts at 8am. The call was forwarded to their after-hour customer service department where I was reassured that my reservation is good for 24 hours and I need not to worry. Then I was relieved that I won't need to pay the $2 to get my reservation changed. The shuttle driver came about 5 minutes before the scheduled time and left on-time. The driver asked each of us on what our return flights are and let us know they won't be shuttling anyone prior to 8am and asked us to find rides elsewhere. Since I was staying at Fairfield Inn by Marriott in the JW Marriott Complex, my stop is the last stop, #9. It's a nice little drive from the airport. My shuttle driver told me everything that's good to visit, restaurant, bars, or public attraction. Great company, will definitely use them again next time I visit Indianapolis! read more
