Each of the sandwiches was filled with fresh vegetables including lettuce, red cabbage, pickled red onions, carrots, roasted eggplant, edamame, garbanzo beans, arugula, and pomegranate seeds. The Falafel Pita also came with hummus; three soft, herbaceous, green falafel fritters; and tahini-yogurt sauce on top. The Chicken Pita came with chunks of white meat chicken along with a yellow curry sauce. Both of the sandwiches were delicious, though the falafels had an unexpectedly bitter flavor.
