THE DEETS: After researching a couple of local carpet places, I am so grateful that I found Elite. We were in the tumultuous process of trying to get new carpet installed within a very tight timeframe. Every place I checked did not have the carpet that I was looking for in stock and it would NOT arrive in time --but Alex at Elite assured me that he had what I wanted in stock or he could order/get it in time, if needed. I was super impressed by the first conversation with Alex because I had already spoken to a few other carpet places and had been getting the same responses from all the others --they would need to access the house to take measurements in order to give me an accurate estimate/quote ---which is NOT easily done when you're in escrow and the house is still occupied by the current owner. Alex assured me that he already knew the measurements because he has access to an exclusive database that contains that information. This was SUCH a relief and a huge game changer --with our challenging timeline, we were able to save a whole day and bypass an entire step in the process and it just made everything so much smoother. Alex also went out of his way to make sure he was available when I arrived at the shop. He showed me several amazing samples of high quality carpet and gave me price quotes on everything. I truly felt like he listened to my needs/concerns and gave me several viable options --I didn't feel like he was just trying to push the most expensive or the most plentiful brands... his carpet selection was unmatched. Personable and professional, Alex has been in the business for decades and his knowledgeable experience really shines. He was willing to accommodate several of our "special requests" and got me a great deal on exactly what I was looking for. Communication throughout the process was great -(which was also very reassuring after I had been ghosted by a different carpet guy). After having interacted with 4 other carpet places, I felt confident that I was receiving the best service and value at Elite. The installation of the carpet was smooth and hassle-free. Because we were moving into a new place, Alex worked with us to make the transition as seamless as possible. We had the pleasure of working with a total of 3 of his installers and they were all very courteous and QUICK. They carefully cleaned up after themselves and made sure we were satisfied with the finished product. My husband works with many vendors in his line of work and he was quite impressed by the quality and speed of service. If we ever have any other flooring needs, we know where to go and who to talk to. BOTTOMLINE: If you are experiencing "new carpet installation woes" --or just haven't quite found what you're looking for-- rest assured that there is a headache-free option at Elite Carpet. As a satisfied customer, I can confidently recommend Alex and his team of professionals who will undoubtedly provide a top-notch experience.

They worked fast and efficient. Communication with the owner, Alex was prompt and clear. He would even intermittently check in throughout the day to see how things were going. I really appreciated that from him. I had sought out a few bids for this job but Alex at Elite was the most fair and the most communicative. The others either way over quoted or went MIA. I highly recommend Elite Carpet & Tile for your flooring needs.

I preface this with the statement, if I could submit this review with zero or negative stars I…read morewould happily do so. Beware...Do Not Work With This Company or Anthony Duhu. While Anthony is a smooth talker and has a likable personality, he is not to be trusted. Do not be fooled - he does not have a license, doesn't pay he employees on time and makes a ton of mistakes along the way because of his lack of attention to detail. I was led to believe this kitchen remodel project would be finished in 6 weeks - it is now 15 weeks and the project is still not complete. There were no structural or other types problems which arose with the space which delayed progress. The problem was Anthony over extends himself, is not a clear communicator, hires sub-par sub contractors to work which he does not supervise, has poor attention to detail, is not forward thinking and he, nor his workers, arrive on site before 10 am or work on weekends typically. There were multiple weeks when no one showed to do anything. Anthony also will make you feel like your complaints are all small issues and takes his time to address them. He cuts corners and then just tries to cover up his mistakes which he always blames on someone else. The only people I have had not problems with were the electrician and the tile installation (aside from them unplugging my garage freezer....we didn't know for a week). Thomas the electrician was fabulous and I would recommend him to anyone needing a quality person! Problems which occurred: Three separate painters needed to come because of sloppy work and mistakes....four of the doors they painted are already peeling. The mud and drywall work needed to be fixed in five places because there were seams left. The painters and mud workers destroyed the xeriscape front yard by dumping their waste into the DG and desert plants - Anthony did get that fixed but it took three months. We had a window moved and Anthony mis-measured the spacing so the cabinets lined up 8 inches from the window on one side and 15 inches on the other. To remedy that he had to add a shelving system I didn't want. He also mis-measured the cabinets and didn't leave enough space at the ceiling for the appropriate molding. Again I was told - don't worry it's fine. His original cabinet worker walked off the job because Anthony had not paid him. I requested Conditional Waivers of Release from everyone he had work on this job because I don't want any liens. I received one only I fired him from doing the back splash and counter top. Anthony was given $ to purchase stone for the project and 8 weeks later he still had not paid for it. When I renegotiated the contract I requested the money back for the stone immediately - I am still being told "I'm working on it". Anthony stated "if I have problems like this 2-3 times a year then I'm ahead of the curve". He doesn't care about you or what you go through when these problems occur or how the length of the project negatively affects your life. I also doesn't bode well that at least 3 people working in my home made derogatory comments about Anthony(which I will not repeat here) and stated this would be the last time they worked on a project with him. I would NEVER recommend Premier Home and Design to anyone ever. Stay away from this company and any thing connected to Anthony Duhu period.

After interviewing several reputable contractors it was evident that my design choices would require custom cabinetry. Premier Home Design was recommended to me by another general contractor who often works with Anthony for custom cabinetry. After feeling discouraged by the lackluster GC's I had interviewed, Anthony was a breath of fresh air! He was perceptive to my design ideas and not scared to tackle the project like many other contractors who just wanted a "quick and easy job." With a busy work and school schedule I needed a contractor I could trust to make sure my dream kitchen became a reality. Anthony was very accommodating of my schedule and kept the project moving forward, even when I had to leave town. Anthony scheduled reliable subcontractors for framing, electrical, plumbing and quartz countertops. An extra special shout out to Jared with Absolute Plumbing who succesfully accomplished what 4 other plumbers/GC's said couldn't be done. We had a 13" drop ceiling in our kitchen because all the plumbing, including the main waste pipe were running directly above the kitchen from the second story. With no wiggle room for error he managed to re-do all the plumbing up to code, so that we could have 8' ceilings in our kitchen which allowed for 39" upper cabinets. If it wasn't for Anthony, we would not have gotten flush 8' ceilings from any other GC, and Anthony got the plumbing done for half the cost of any other plumber! Anthony was always accessible and easy to communicate with, patient with my design details (e.g., he let me provide the sketches and dimensions of my custom glass cabinet doors, custom wood hood vent, custom paint colors, etc.), accommodating to my schedule, and paid attention to finishing details. He was receptive to any changes or fixes that needed to be done because he prides himself on quality work. If you're looking for PREMIER QUALITY on your next remodeling project then give Premier Home Design a call! You won't be disappointed!!

When we called him out to measure and give us an estimate, we were so happy to find out that the floor we had put in a couple of years ago was still available. We finally decided to tear out all the carpet and put in the same flooring that we had put in a couple of years ago in our kitchen, bathrooms, and dining room. We are so grateful to Wally's Carpet and their team for making this project so easy and affordable for us. Santiago, Santiago Junior, and their team did such a beautiful job on our hard floors and made sure it was installed perfectly and matched up with the other flooring that we already had in place. They left everything neat and orderly, and even moved all of our furniture back into place when they were done, which we appreciated more than we can say! Jose came to install carpet in the two bedrooms and got it done so quickly, all in one day. He made sure to vacuum, sweep and clean up any mess that happened with the installation. We highly recommend Wally's to anyone who is looking to have any type of flooring project done, they are highly professional, and their team of people are skilled, knowledgeable, respectful and got the job done professionally, quickly and with zero issues! We just want to say thank you to all of you and please know how grateful we are, we are so in love with the way our house looks. We want to show it off to everyone. John and Antoinette G.

Their price was fair and reasonable, and I chose to pay a bit more for better quality and service. I was on a tight timeline because I needed the floors done ASAP because I had to be out of my rental. However I was going to be out of town but Ron (project manager) went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly during my absence. He checked in on the project daily and sent me pictures of the progress throughout the day which helped eased my stress tremendously. Ron is amazing! He's friendly, professional and was very very patient with me and always made me feel like top priority. It was a big project and I couldn't have chose a better company to deliver. The installer Santiago and his team also did an amazing job! From renovating the tiles, to installing my floor, baseboards, and the clean up. There was a minor issue after the floors were done and Santiago came over the same day and fixed the issue. I am beyond satisfied and happy with the way my floor looks. You cannot go wrong with Wally's!!

This past April, I had the cheap carpet and…read moredamaged laminate in my condo replaced entirely with wood look porcelain tile throughout the home and it came out AMAZING!! I had been shopping for tile for quite some time, since I wanted something that was water, stain (read "pet') resistant but mimicked the beauty of wood. After looking at several other companies more towards L.A., I came across Mike's right here in my own backyard of Redlands and that's when I knew my search was over. On my first visit, I showed up 5 minutes before closing and I was still waved in by smiling employees who took the time to speak with me, showed me samples and made an appointment for a free in-home estimate. Sweet-natured, considerate Project Manager Hector turned out to have a fabulous eye for design and an appreciation for what I was trying to do, by emphasizing the unique shape of the home (a hexagon within a hexagon with an interior courtyard) and drew up an elegant floor plan. He also directed me to Empire Tile in San Bernardino, which I had never heard of and would have saved me several trips down the 10 Freeway West if I had. The moment I walked in, I saw a display from a manufacturer in Spain called Porcelanosa that had a gorgeous, organic looking long, wide plank tile called Bernes Haya, the first sample that literally made me smile and say, "That's it, that's the one." Now I had my tile and my installation company, how did it all actually go? The crew that worked on my home, Dave, Darryl and Aidan (sp?) were, in a word, FANTASTIC! They were personable, respectful, funny, and so dedicated to my house getting the best possible outcome I was deeply impressed. The shape of the condo with its abundance of angles proved to be a considerable challenge, but they proved themselves to be more than a match for it. No detail was overlooked, no area simply filled in with grout, they did a masterful job of cutting even the smallest or most uniquely shaped pieces to allow complete tile coverage. They had to improvise on more than one occasion, with undercutting door sills and jambs, and finding just the right angle or location for the perfect tile placement. In addition, they kept me informed of every concern or issue and patiently answered my many questions. Even while sitting in the driveway on their lunch breaks, they helped a neighbor unlock her car to retrieve the keys still in her ignition and assist another with her pesticide sprayer! They were that helpful and caring, I wanted to adopt them! I've never seen a harder working, unfailingly polite and talented crew. It was a masterful job, and everyone that has seen the floor in person is just blown away. I've passed out several business cards to my neighbors and friends and can not recommend them highly enough!
