    Gnocchi and meatballs
    Sam G.

One of the best Gnocchi dishes I've had in a long time. The gnocchi are made with ricotta, light and pillow soft. The bolognese sauce was authentic and flavorful. Meatballs were tasty and brought back memories of my Nona's kitchen. The teaser had 3 different sauces and garlic bread. Lunch prices of the meals and wine are very reasonable. Liz was great with service and Jeff the owner was pleasant and informative. I will return.

Ordered the Gnocchi Alfredo on Doordash and it came with a bread roll and salad! They also supply you with butter and some parmesan on the side. The gnocchis were delicious.

This has to be a joke.... I ordered a combination platter of gnocchi (an entree sampling of three different gnocchis) from them via GrubHub for pickup. Picked up my order and service was great! Yntil I got home and saw that my order was completely wrong and received the most pathetic portion of parmesan cheese I've ever seen... Really looking forward to trying the combo, I called the restaurant to have the order resolved, was immediately meant with a defensive "The order came through just as a 'gnocchi'" and after I told them I ordered a combination gnocchi via GrubHub and could show them the receipt, I was met with a very defensive "Well, what do you want us to do about it"... I just said "Well I guess I just want to make you all aware. I was really looking forward to trying the combination...". There wasn't a chance I was willing to go back there and feel embarrassed/shamed for asking them to correct my order. There were two people working there, and I can see why the parking lot was completely empty ‍ If 0 stars were an option....

    Chicken Gnocchi Soup

For dinner on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023, I ate at this Italian restaurant in Clinton Township. I ordered spinach gnocchi with palomino sauce as my main course. I was also served rolls and a cup of chicken gnocchi soup. First to say, the gnocchi here is fantastic. It's homemade, and not store bought. I even like the gnocchi here better than Picano's, since these ones also have a small ricotta filling. I thought my chicken gnocchi soup was fantastic. The broth was quite flavorful. I thought the rolls were tasty. The palomino sauce in my spinach gnocchi dish was fantastic. It was a deal, costing only $20 per person for all this food. My waitress was quite courteous and helpful. I got the food very fast. I liked the traditional Italian decor with a Michigan twist to it. I highly recommend trying this Italian restaurant, especially for those on a tighter budget.

Found the food very good. Liked the meat sauce best The mushroom soup was very very good. Service good Ambiance was clean and maintained We will return

The gnocchis, meatballs, soup....its all amazing! My only complaint is the hours! I wish they were open longer. It's quiet and clean inside.

You were fast, efficient, and a multitasking marvel, and you did it all with a smile on your face, even as you always took a few seconds to say hello and answer a question when needed. To the table of eight mid-GenZ types who trickled in as we settled in for dinner: (1) Alcohol is not your friend, and given that this town does not have an Uber or Lyft service of any reliability, I was happy to leave before your birthday party ended. (2) Your parents did not teach you a great deal about restaurant etiquette. (3) You did nothing to help add to a special dinner for my wife and I. HOWEVER, NONE of that second paragraph is the restaurant's fault, except for not asking them to lower the volume a bit as they were getting many "looks." The crowd in this restaurant tends to be 40+ and the vocal ones were not appreciated by many. OK: I had not eaten here in a couple of years. While my wife enjoyed her Chicken Marsala, I didn't really think that my Shrimp Scampi was "wonderful." The shrimp were small (less than "scampi size") and "slightly" overcooked. However, the biggest issue was almost a complete lack of garlic flavor. The fresh lemon helped, but once applied, I had Shrimp Scampi with lemon sauce. I will say on the positive that the capellini pasta was cooked to virtual perfection. As the only authentic Italian restaurant in the Adrian area, the cuisine covers the Italian countryside from North to South. So of course, I will go back. However, I am having the Lasagna or the Ravioli.

Mary cashed us out and was very helpful and sweet as can be. George, please thank George! He was so very kind to help us with a special request and went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Truly! We just gave our friends the gift of some of our favorite things from Cantoros and George took that extra step! We decided we should be on the payroll, because we are constantly promoting our favorite place! We appreciate all of you!

I was eager to avoid the kitchen and had always wanted to try the restaurant, so I was game. We were able to get a reservation immediately and headed on over. Upon arriving, we were promptly seated and greeted by our server. We started our meal with the grilled calamari - a nice change from the typical fried that is usually served in restaurants. It was light and filling, and accompanied by some delicious bread and olive oil with balsamic to dip. For my main course, I chose the orrechiette pasta. The portion was gargantuan - I can have it for at least 3 meals - and the flavors were so balanced and well-composed. Our server did a good job of making sure we had our food promptly and that plates were cleared out as we finished each course. She was friendly as well. We really enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to introducing friends and family to the restaurant soon!

I felt like the portion wasn't super big for bread that was not complimentary, but it was so good. Very light and the honey butter was excellent. The soup was also nice, i liked that it was chicken meatballs. We got all 3 of the d&l chicken. They were able to do a substitution for my mom with some garlic and that was very appreciated. My one note is that i would have liked a noodle base for my chicken, it needed something for all of the very strong sauce, something to soak it up if you will. They also have an inciardi print machine which is an added bonus! Overall it is a good place to be for a nicer than average meal. Still casual enough but can be fancy too.

I had the carbonara on my first night going there and I wasn't a fan of it probably because they use tagliatelle. Didn't taste authentic like what I've had in Italy. The second night I had the pappardelle bolognese which I highly recommend. For dessert I had the cannoli - maybe I just don't like cannoli but it did look good and authentic. The tiramisu looks amazing though.
