We've driven past this place countless times without noticing it, but our craving for something new led us to stop in. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. It's cute inside. We started with the mozzarella fritta, which was absolutely delicious! The marinara sauce accompanying it was bursting with flavor. However, the dinner salad was a bit underwhelming. It only had simple toppings like tomato, red onion, and cucumbers. I opted for the house dressing, which was supposed to be a blend of oil, vinegar, and Italian spices. To my dismay, despite vigorous shaking, all the seasonings remained mostly at the bottom of the plastic cup, with little to no vinegar. It was okay, but not particularly impressive. For the main course, I ordered the baked Italian combo. The lasagna was good, though a bit overcooked and with some crunchy bits. The chicken parmigiana was also tasty. However, the meat ravioli that came with it was a major disappointment. It tasted like a plain noodle with a large amount of unflavored meat. To sweeten the deal, we had crème brûlée for dessert. It was enjoyable, but a bit peculiar. Half of it was piping hot, while the other half was ice cold. Despite the oddity, the flavor was still great. First time visiting this family Italian restaurant. The service was great The food was good and authentic, the prices were reasonable. Haven't had real sliced veal parmigiana in a long time so I really enjoyed it along with the orzo soup and tasty pasta with red sauce. The tortellini with a creamy mushroom and chicken sauce was great and flavorful. The ambience was clean and cozy. Cocktails and bottle beer are available. My co-worker has been suggesting this restaurant to me for the past year or so to try. So a couple of weeks ago, a few of my co-workers and I finally decided to meet after work for dinner at Giuseppe's, and we all enjoyed our food! Before ordering, we all shared the complimentary fresh bread and breadsticks, which were delicious! Then we ordered appetizers for the table to split: Fried Zucchini Sticks; Beer Battered Fried Mushrooms; and Pizza Bread, which were all really good and huge portions! For the entree, A couple of us ordered the Baked Italian Combo (1/2 lasagna piece; 1/2 order chicken Parmesan; and 2 Florentine ravioli), which was good as well! My experience was overall great at the restaurant, our waitress was very attentive and very nice! The restaurant and ambiance was nice! And I will definitely be returning! Not pictured, but I almost forgot that I had dessert to go (Turtle Cheesecake). The caramel sauce and Graham cracker crust was delicious! read more

The service was excellent. Our waitress was a young woman and very friendly and attentive. I have to say the ambience was very nice but a little outdated. The food on the other hand was not up to par. I have eaten it a few Italian restaurants. I ordered the veal parmesan in my fiance ordered the baked mostaccioli. The veil was very tough and had a oily taste. The breading was watery and soggy when I pick the piece up it folded over. There was too much cheese and sauce. The sauce was very strong and had a bitter taste. I could not taste the veal at all. I removed the breading the sauce and the cheese. I took just a piece of the veal and it tasted as if it had been microwaved. It was not fresh real. My fiance's mostaccioli which there was a lot of also had a bitter taste and she could only eat two bites of it. The roles that were served had also been microwaved to be warmed up. After about 5 minutes they cooled off and they were hard to eat. The salad that came with her dinner was not fresh. Everything on the salad was wilted even the tomato had looked like it been sitting there for a few days. Chicken soup that I was given had no chicken in it but a tiny piece about the size of the tip of my pinky. It was very bland and had very few vegetables in it. From other reviews that I had seen in other locations I was looking forward to eating here. In my opinion this is not a great Italian restaurant it's not even very good. I do not recommend eating here if you're looking for good Italian. We spent $41 and some change and it was not worth it. First time for me at this restaurant. Read all reviews, good and bad. We were in a group of 20 people. I don't have anything bad to say. Our waitress was very nice and hard working. Since I have been several times to Italy, I was pretty sure that the food wasn't authentic (as claimed) and I was right just by seeing what was ordered and what it looked like on the plate. I know the guy next to me had ordered the mussels and mentioned that there was sand in the shells. I only ordered 2 different appetizers (mushrooms and mozzarella cheese sticks and it was good and plenty as well. Would I go back? Would I recommend it for the ITALIEN food? Both are a NO. This place is a definition of "not bad" as me and my grandfather would put it. When we had looked this place up we had high expectations with the incredible reviews, when we had arrived my grandfather made a joke that "the gravity might be weak here" due to the apparel of the place we were greeted by nonstop Frank Sinatra playing in the background which got one check mark off my list with a bunch of empty tables. When we had gotten our appetizers the mussels and the pizza bread, we were amazed by the great mussels while the pizza bread had been a severe disappointment with the bread not even having that crispy crunch into the crust that I would like. When the main course had arrived I had gotten the ravioli, (which I would not recommend) that had ravioli with sauce on the top and cheese on the inside. The noodles themselves had NO FLAVOR what so ever. This place was a disappointment from what we had heard about, this place was like if the green lantern movie released in 2011 had made an Italian restaurant all cooked by the script and the sous chef the "amazing graphics" of the movie. So yes the gravity is weak at Giuseppe's I would not recommend eating here if your wanting to eat somewhere fancy or if your wanting to eat at all, INSTEAD eat at the amazing chophouse just a few buildings down called "Louis' Chop house". read more

I ordered the pasta in clam sauce. It was salty and could barely tasted any clams. The dinner rolls that came with it were also very bland. No butter or garlic on the rolls. The only good thing about my meal was the portion size. I guess size doesn't matter in this case because I took two bites and threw the meal out. This is a very small family owned Italian restaurant. Its built into a old looking strip of stores which doesn't look like anything from the outside but the food and service was really good. The 2 for $20 meal was a great deal! Each dinner came with soup or salad. Fresh baked bread and crunchy bread sticks with butter for the table. My dad got the fettuccine alfrado and added shrimp. I got manicotti. At first I was bumbed out it only came with two manicotti but once I started eating it was more than enough. The salad was sort of plain but good. I also got a cup of minestrone soup which was RIDICULOUSLY good. The pitcher of sangria was a large quantity of cold, fresh, sweet, fruity Spanish wine. I will definitely get it again. No pizza on Sundays. :( We've rented out the entire restaurant for an upcoming anniversary party for my grandparents. Meat in the lasagna wasn't broken up when cooked. Big pieces throughout the dish. I ordered the Chicken Angelo and there was so much sauce (not red sauce but a buttery lemon sauce) everything floated in the dish. Sautéed chicken soaked in sauce. Tried it and won't be back. I called at 7:14 and asked if there was still time to order a carry out since they closed at 8:00. Flagged down a waitress who took it away. Waited 10 minutes for a refill on my drink to continue to wash it down. When the replacement came I asked for a box because no way could I eat anything at that point and by that time my bf was basically finished with his meal anyway. Souha and her team went over the top to make sure we had the perfect menu to compliment our guests for our special celebratory day. We were able to decorate the entire restaurant and rearrange tables as needed. If you're looking for a special place to celebrate with family who will go out of their way to make you feel like family then this your place! Tried this place last night with my husband. It's a really cute place and when we first got there they had live music, after that they played Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, etc. which was great. The food was pretty good and the service was EXCELLENT! Our waitress was great!! The menu has a great selection and is put together well. They have a good selection of desserts....we split a piece of the tiramisu....WOW!! This place is a cute hidden gem, if you live in the area it's definitely worth a try!! I ate there for the first time yesterday, the waitress raved about how everything was just oh so good. So we tried a few different dishes. I asked how the pizza was, she said excellent. I ordered it and it took a while because she said that they make the dough for each ordered pizza. I thought, this has got to be pretty good. It wasnt, it was ok at best. As for the seafood fettuccine, the pasta was so overcooked it was more of a mush. I couldn't locate any whitefish, it seems like it was pureed. The only flavor to the sauce (if you could call this a sauce) was an overwhelming taste of garlic. It seemed like they just melted a block of butter with a cup of garlic mixed in.
