Chicken Marsala
Lorraine F.

Great place. Not the best Italian, but it will do!! We got the two for $28.00 dinner special. Chicken Marsala and Lemon Chicken Tosca and both were just fine! Really good breadsticks!! Service is nice and friendly and food was served hot and on time. Nice decor and it's pretty kid friendly.

Complimentary Bread and Breadsticks

My co-worker has been suggesting this restaurant to me for the past year or so to try. So a couple of weeks ago, a few of my co-workers and I finally decided to meet after work for dinner at Giuseppe's, and we all enjoyed our food! Before ordering, we all shared the complimentary fresh bread and breadsticks, which were delicious! Then we ordered appetizers for the table to split: Fried Zucchini Sticks; Beer Battered Fried Mushrooms; and Pizza Bread, which were all really good and huge portions! For the entree, A couple of us ordered the Baked Italian Combo (1/2 lasagna piece; 1/2 order chicken Parmesan; and 2 Florentine ravioli), which was good as well! My experience was overall great at the restaurant, our waitress was very attentive and very nice! The restaurant and ambiance was nice! And I will definitely be returning! Not pictured, but I almost forgot that I had dessert to go (Turtle Cheesecake). The caramel sauce and Graham cracker crust was delicious!

To much cheese and sauce was out in 10 minutes after ordering.

The service was excellent. Our waitress was a young woman and very friendly and attentive. I have to say the ambience was very nice but a little outdated. The food on the other hand was not up to par. I have eaten it a few Italian restaurants. I ordered the veal parmesan in my fiance ordered the baked mostaccioli. The veil was very tough and had a oily taste. The breading was watery and soggy when I pick the piece up it folded over. There was too much cheese and sauce. The sauce was very strong and had a bitter taste. I could not taste the veal at all. I removed the breading the sauce and the cheese. I took just a piece of the veal and it tasted as if it had been microwaved. It was not fresh real. My fiance's mostaccioli which there was a lot of also had a bitter taste and she could only eat two bites of it. The roles that were served had also been microwaved to be warmed up. After about 5 minutes they cooled off and they were hard to eat. The salad that came with her dinner was not fresh. Everything on the salad was wilted even the tomato had looked like it been sitting there for a few days. Chicken soup that I was given had no chicken in it but a tiny piece about the size of the tip of my pinky. It was very bland and had very few vegetables in it. From other reviews that I had seen in other locations I was looking forward to eating here. In my opinion this is not a great Italian restaurant it's not even very good. I do not recommend eating here if you're looking for good Italian. We spent $41 and some change and it was not worth it. Again this is my opinion and there are many out there that may enjoy it there.

Steamed Mussels

This place is a definition of "not bad" as me and my grandfather would put it. When we had looked this place up we had high expectations with the incredible reviews, when we had arrived my grandfather made a joke that "the gravity might be weak here" due to the apparel of the place we were greeted by nonstop Frank Sinatra playing in the background which got one check mark off my list with a bunch of empty tables. When we had gotten our appetizers the mussels and the pizza bread, we were amazed by the great mussels while the pizza bread had been a severe disappointment with the bread not even having that crispy crunch into the crust that I would like. When the main course had arrived I had gotten the ravioli, (which I would not recommend) that had ravioli with sauce on the top and cheese on the inside. The noodles themselves had NO FLAVOR what so ever. This place was a disappointment from what we had heard about, this place was like if the green lantern movie released in 2011 had made an Italian restaurant all cooked by the script and the sous chef the "amazing graphics" of the movie. So yes the gravity is weak at Giuseppe's I would not recommend eating here if your wanting to eat somewhere fancy or if your wanting to eat at all, INSTEAD eat at the amazing chophouse just a few buildings down called "Louis' Chop house".

Six of us took the cooking class today for my 70th birthday, including my daughter and her husband,…read moreand their two kids. WE HAD A BALL!! The owner, Elenora, took us in as family from the moment we stepped through the door. She showed us how to make delicious Italian sauces (butter & sage and a cherry tomato sauce). Then she instructed us all in making pasta dough, filling and forming ravioli, and making fettuccine and linguini. We all sat down for one of the best Italian meals we ever had. The pasta was perfect and the sauces were flavorful but light. The food was made with fresh ingredients from her garden and the atmosphere was lighthearted, fun and delightful. I highly recommend Eataliana!!

We had our one year old son with us and the service was quick and friendly. The meals come with salad and rolls, which were both delicious. The rolls were hot and approved by the baby. The salad was good and fresh, we both really enjoyed the Italian dressing. For dinner I got the veggie lasagna and the baby and I both really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it was very good! We all liked that the best. The sauce had great flavor so the out being too thick or heavy. For dessert we ordered a crème brûlée and also enjoyed that. It was not too sweet, which we appreciated. We really enjoyed our experience and will be back to try some of the other dishes.

My nephew and niece took my sister and me to Ottava Via for a belated Mother's Day celebration…read more They have been there many times, but it was the first time for us. First, the place is so welcoming. Several different rooms as well as the outside patio, which has bocce ball. It was too warm & humid for us, so we sat inside at a table near the bar. The servers were all very friendly; it seemed a different person brought each course. We had the bread service and calamari for an appetizer. The bread and herb butter were very good, and I understand that it does cost the restaurant to serve it, but $7 seemed like a lot to me. I also enjoyed the calamari. I had the pasta Bolognese (they had some other name for it), which is one of my favorite kinds of pasta. This did not disappoint. I loved the super wide papardelle noodles (also a favorite!) and the small scoop of cheese (burrata, maybe?) on top. My sister had the mushroom pizza (also with a different name). She enjoyed it as well. I am glad they decided to take us there; it was all very good and in a nice atmosphere as well.

The waitress asked my husband 3 times if he wanted a third beer. Who did she think was driving home and why so pushy? Broccolini - nicely cooked, buried in cheese, a spicy aioli-type topping. Branzino - tasty, overly salted and oiled Cacio e Pepe - bucatini was a bit overcooked. Not enough pepper!
