Last weekend they were selling arugula, pok choy (mini boc choy), and mustard greens. Greens grow well in the winter, so hopefully their tent at the market will remain stocked during the cold months. They also sell premade treats. Sugar Bear has an enormous sweet tooth, so when he saw the margarita cookies and spicy chocolate cookies HE zoomed over to the vendor for a closer look. They are made locally, so Sugar Bear feels he's doing his job as a locavore by checking these out! The margarita cookies were his favorite with the tangy lime flavor mixed in with a delicate sea salt. I got pok choy and a French pumpkin (looks like a green acorn squash) to stir fry. Yummy!
