I was trying to ask a person with an apron on where the restroom was and she barked at me that she was not on the floor right now. I was confused since genuinely, asking another human being where the bathroom is seems like a question you do not need to be on the clock for. Thankfully another person, who WAS on the clock, walked by and responded kindly that it was right around the corner. I think rude lady did not maybe hear my question since by the time I parked the cart, got the cane ready and was trying to walk to the restroom she was right there and I think had just come from the restroom. But she was now near aggressively in my face asking how she could help me. My turn to be rude and say I need you to kindly allow me to go into the restroom which is where I have been trying to get to. Thankfully the other folks throughout the store were super super nice and so very helpful. They even asked that I pull my car up so they could load up my groceries. And I love that they load them up into boxes - especially that they are smaller boxes because glass jars and such get heavy very fast and bags aide them to clang around a great deal. After chatting with one of the lovely folks that work there I also 'get' any rudeness from the gal I suspect really needed to restroom. But the other person thanked me for being a person that reminds her she likes her job. She said most people who shop there genuinely treat the people who work there with abuse. People will march up, not even great them, thrust their phone on their face with the item they are searching for. I was also doing shopping for others but am I the only person saying please and thank you? That earned me a person finding me an out of stock item for my customer. I was shopping for a vegan and I will say I found a ton of great looking stuff next time I need to go to a vegan thing - and I have such a thing in a few weeks!

I see a puddle of water on the floor, it's snowing and I grab paper towels I see on the counter to clean up the mess, like any normal person would. I don't wanna slip on the floor and seeing workers busy I figured I could help out. Nope, stupid worker wants to yell at me for "reaching over the counter" when all I did was grab paper towels that are sitting out! So sorry for helping and trying to do the right thing. Pls review that video footage too and see your employee being rude as hell. Not a nectar fan but decided to give in another shot. I will gladly support any other business than this. Well TODAY the clerk SAVEON at this location #17916 must have been having some issues because he just lunged across the counter at me and slammed his name tag down while I was with my toddler! After he refused my purchasing an alcoholic beverage I inquired on why my VALID passport couldn't be accepted, he just walked off in the middle of my question and checking out my items! His coworker slid into his place to finish my checkout, when I asked his coworker for his info he then LUNGED across the counter IN MY DIRECTION and slams his name tag at me. I immediately felt threatened especially with my TODDLER 3 y/o daughter! I immediately responded that he better not come any closer and do anything else as I was with my daughter and I felt threatened! I will never patronize this location or probably even 7 eleven brands, I noticed as the other patrons looked on and the clerk Jade didn't offer any empathy in my direction my daughter and I were the only black ppl in there so I'm sure that helps! I feel embarrassed, threatened and certainly discrimination due to my daughter and o being of Color! I realized a movie I have been anxious to see was starting soon and ain't nobody affording movie theater snacks. What I was not prepared for was the amazing customer service! Like whoa, can you maybe train a bunch of the other folks at different locations? It was even really simple what he did. He was stocking stuff probably but the second I entered the store, he poked his head around with a smile greeting me and letting me know he was right there if I needed anything at all... whoa what? I was looking for some popcorn? And he even helped me search! You do you but I have been craving the living hell out of Reeses peanut butter cups and they had a 'sharing size' super super king size... aw, that's so cute if you think I'm gonna let anyone near my Reeses. No really, I will cut you. I was reaching for that item when I spotted a 7-11 brand chocolate peanut butter bar situation... I can report that it was most excellent and rich. Plus it has piece marks within it so you can take off a piece and save the rest... savor it a bit. That Reeses did not stand a chance... Maybe someday I will be brave and attempt a different flavor of frozen slurpee... I have really only recently started going to 7-11 again. It is nothing against them - it was just realizing how easy it is to get a slurpee and head over to a movie. Their flavors seem better - they are not as syrupy and sickly sweet as Icee. I used to be a diehard cherry only, but I had Coke and I now find its my jam. A last note to say I also really appreciate that they take SNAP also. I have a tissue disorder and sometimes I have exceptionally low mobility. Going into a grocery store when I can barely stand makes me even more exhausted, just thinking about it. Getting a small pizza and a coke for cheap and only walking a few feet (since you can order mobile) is genuinely survival somedays because my stamina for standing won't last long enough to cook.

My son Malachai and I popped into the Tigard 7-11 on Free Slurpee day. It wasn't as busy as you…read moremight have expected, there was no mob of angry Slurpee seekers and no crazy line. There was lots of Slurpee traffic though. There were people popping into cars in the parking lot each with a Slurpee in hand and a steady stream of people coming in go snag a free slurp. I'd chatted so briefly with a friendly cashier on the way in, letting her know we were just there for the free Slurpeeeee's. She smiled and waved us in. Back at the Slurpee machine, there wasn't a line so to speak, just a frazzled dad trying his best to napkin up a Slurpee disaster. An employee popped out of the back and happily helped him clean it up with a nice big rag. Within 30 seconds of entering the store, we were creating our Slurpee perfection. I went with coke layered under Mango with Lemon on the top! I showed Malachai how to fill up his Slurpee all the way to the top of the lid! Ahhhh sharing the secrets of life with our babies, nothing is more fulfilling. As luck would have it, the only person in line in front of me was counting pennies. I asked the cashier if they were scanning Slurpee's, or if we were free to go, she gestured that I should wait, and then without missing a beat, she continued chatting with the customer she was helping, and logged into the other registered, punched a couple buttons and we wer4 good to go. The store was running all sorts of other specials too, like .99 1/4 sausages, as advertised by a ton of printed signs that we didn't really notice until we got into the car. Mali said he'd go in and get us a couple dogs. I didnt want to use a credit card for $2 so we went throught the car and came up with the two bucks! Win! He came back to the car nearly in tears. Someone had bumped into him and knocked one of them out of his hand. That sweet boy handed me the other and said it was fine, he didn't need one. I asked him if he'd told the cashier and he said that he had and that she had said she was sorry. "Well", I said to him, "Lets find another dollar!". We didn't find another dollar, so I grabbed that credit card and we headed inside. Once inside, i asked the cashier (not the one from earlier, but the one that cleaned up the Slurpee mess), if my son had mentioned that he dropped his hot dog. She said not to her, but said shed grab him a new one right now. She saw his face, that probably showed signs of recent tears and told him all he had to do was say something to somebod and get a new one. He told her he'd tried, and she said she'd told the wrong person. She gave him a new one and like magic, everything was okay in his world again. WOOOT WOOOT $2 lunch and no credit card swiping! The downside, my tummy made me pay dearly for that $2 lunch later on.
