I did not grow up shopping at whole foods as well, I can not afford to! But they started carrying a…read morevery special and dear product to our kitchen- kimono mom unami suace and allowed her to do her tour at whole foods markets. So after meeting her local in person (and following her story for years before) I started going to whole foods again! This time in Reston location was to pick up more Unami sauce and some burts bee lip blam (cold season). While there, they have amazing fresh meals prepared and it allowed me and my lil to each choose our own meal for the day something we'd both love. I tried the spicy salmon on top of rice with side of veggies. The lil... well choose a pizza slice... then proceeded to eat half my rice and complain my salmon was too spicy lol. Memories to remember :) Will be back!

I was thrilled to see Whole Foods take over the spot where Best Buy used to be. This meant that we…read morecould now walk there, so we wouldn't have to deal with the horrible parking situation at Plaza America. Like others who have also reviewed the new one, I, too, envisioned it would be like the ones in Fair Lakes and Ashburn. But, alas, no :( Still, it is far better than the old location. While this one doesn't offer any seating areas where one can order food, it is more spacious. Thus, their produce section is larger than the meat and seafood sections. Although they brag about having a huge cheese selection, it's about the same size as it was before. The problem regarding the size of the place is most likely because Reston doesn't have a spot for a huge store. Unless they were to find a plot of land in a good location, then build a free-standing one. That would be pricey! We think the aisle signs could be better labeled. For example, we wanted to get some tofu, but despite wandering around, I couldn't find it. Finally, I saw an employee and asked him. He directed me to a refrigerated case that was near the bakery and sushi counter. Otherwise, we found everything we wanted to get. So, yes, we will return...but not to do all our shopping there. They don't call it "Whole Paycheck" for nothing.

Vegetarian and Vegan never tasted so good…read more Yes it's organic, it's naked, it's good for you and me and I actually felt myself getting energized with every bite and sip. Welcome to the all natural Naked Lunch located inside Mom's Organic Market on Elden Street in Herndon, Virginia. Everything is made in house and from scratch - awesome bowls, soups, muffins and the lovely juice bar. The piece de resistance- the amazing team here - Trevor( an angel and just the sweetest kid in the world), Osvaldo - another kind and great guy; Ken - a gentleman a worker and just so courteous, Maris - we talk about our families, Jose, Kendall and the awesome Ashley. They know their stuff and are hard workers who not only preach it but live it and practice it. Their genuine love and care transfers to the healthy fare and makes it even better. Their black bean burger is unique and delicious; their pomegranate muffins are to die for. Their sushi bowls, molar bowls, confetti bowls( please see the menu photo) are so unique and exquisite. All the dressings are made in house and they are stupendous. I have missed out on the soup a few times( sold out in the first hour). The place is casual with tall seating stools and a self help table w plastic ware and napkins. I don't think I am doing a good job and justice by writing about this. Not even close. So get your clothed butt down to Naked Lunch for a healthy, fun and habit forming experience. Juice bar open 9-8 daily. Kitchen 11-8.

This is a review for the cafe specifically…read more I'm newer to a keto/low carb diet and have been struggling to find places to go out for a bite. Imagine my excitement when I came across this place and saw this on their website: "Try our delicious meals made using fresh, seasonal ingredients with gluten-free, keto and high-protein options"! My husband and I come in to order takeout. I ask the cashier what on the menu has a keto option. She struggles to give me an answer, leafing through some papers, and ultimately tells me I can create my own bowl with "bison as the best keto protein option". Uhhh.. okay. I instead select the sugarless BBQ burger with no bun and salmon as protein, with a side of broccoli and the berry smoothie. My husband created his own bowl. We get home to eat .. and my burger is sitting inside a bun. Okay. My side order of broccoli was TINY and SOOO SALTY. I'm talking about *inedibly* salty. My husband's bowl with chicken had a whole 9 leaves of spinach, green pepper, and the kale & quinoa base which apparently is basically just rice?? And of course all of it was completely plain (no seasoning) without the added bbq sauce he got on the side. The smoothie was decent so we'll give this place 2 stars. I don't get it, this meal was so unsatisfying. We eat clean so that's not a new concept but I don't understand what 'clean' means here. We will certainly not be coming back.

Over 15 years of anxiety, depression, an eating disorder, and recent headaches led me to find Elsa…read moreat Golden Health Holistics in 2018. To be honest, I was skeptical every step, and every time she was proven right with her observations. When I came in, I took several tests with her. From the Organic Acids Test (OAT) she told me I had a bacteria/fungus issue in my gut and that my liver was struggling to process toxins. We started a protocol but I started feeling worse so I went to a gastroenterologist to verify what I was doing. Another $300 worth of tests at the doctor simply proved that I had Small Intestinal Bacteria Overgrowth (SIBO) and the beginnings of fatty liver. I was shocked and so grateful to Elsa for recognizing this first and helping me treat it. I am also using her protocol to help fight the HPV that is connected to cervical cancer (HPV 16/18). I had a procedure to remove precancerous cells a couple of years ago and I am still worried each time I have to go for a pap smear. Also, some how (I'm still shocked) Elsa and Melvin were able to help me kick my caffeine habit. I'm so grateful! While I continue my healing journey, she has been spot on each step along the way and I couldn't be more grateful for her knowledge and support. If you have noticed ailments and are tired of seeing a prescription pad taken out each time you talk to a doctor, talk to Elsa and see what she can do. Don't get me wrong, I also love that she isn't afraid to recommend a prescription if it is necessary--and she has for me--but I like that it isn't the only tool in her toolkit for health. I wish all of American medicine looked like this. Good luck on your healing journey!
