I've been coming to this store since 2017. All staff / managers have always been excellent and knowledgeable. I'm a health, wellness and fitness professional myself so I don't say that lightly. I drove into Arlington specifically to visit this store due to all the positive reviews on Yelp. Definitely not disappointed! This is by far and away the best experience I've ever had in a nutrition store. Chris and Stephanie made me feel right at home, and answered all my questions about which protein shake was right for my needs. I even found a few other treats! They have sample size servings that you can buy, so I was able to try our the flavors before committing (Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie flavor for breakfast? Ohhhh yeah!) Great product lines, an awesome house brand, and all the vitamins, powders, and potions that any lifter, crossfitter, bodybuilder, or weekend warrior could want or need. If thats not enough, Its owned by one of the greatest drug-free bodybuilders of all time, Doug Miller. Your local GNC is like 7-11 and this place is like Whole Foods. When i was there, the manager, who is a natural bodybuilder as well was truly helping a lost soul who didnt even know where to begin. I love ANC! I used to be stuck going to GNC all the damn time, spending a fortune and dealing with people who rarely knew what they were talking about. Not so at ANC. I take my bodybuilding seriously, and supplement with a variety of powders, vitamins, and frankly, a ton of peanut butter flavors. You know who knows all about that? The guys at ANC. They've helped me with getting some great products that suit what I'm looking for: a non-stim thermogenic, BCAA's without added flavoring or color, protein powder, all the Quest bars my stomach can handle, Nuts N More peanut butter for my sweet tooth, and all the while are friendly, cheerful, and informative. Be forewarned, supps aren't cheap, but ANC always has fair prices and I can trust that they'll take care of me. I had a bad batch of Alphamine pre-workout that I bought from them, and they were awesome about swapping it out for me since it was clear it was spoiled (not their fault, likely a supplier issue). This store gets it. I've been weightlifting for about 5 years, & I was used to suffering through a lecture at GNC where they push their product, but aren't necessarily helpful. Enter ANC: every single staff member is friendly and helpful. All of them lift, and many compete. They use the stuff they sell, and they don't push any particular brand at you. This place is great. Only five star reviews minus one person who is upset because they didn't open the entire store back up after hours just for them. That's a story for another day.
