I've been meaning to write this review for a while because this place truly deserves all the love…read more To start, we first discovered Smoothie King around the start of January, and now, it's become part of our daily routine-- the staff would recognize us at this point! Stopping in this morning and they literally even noticed that we ordered online today instead of there in store! I can't put into words how much this place has helped me. Going through chemo and taking medications has made it incredibly hard to keep anything down, but the protein smoothies here have been a lifesaver. More often than not, they're the only thing I can stomach, and knowing I have a reliable, nourishing option has been such a comfort. Beyond just the smoothies, I'm so grateful for the quality, consistency, and kindness we experience every time I walk in. It's a place that not only fuels my body but lifts my spirits, too. Thank you for what you do--it truly makes a difference.

It's a somewhat healthy way to give a sweet treat. When I was there, I noticed a new nail place next-door so the next time I was in the area to get my nails done. I stopped by again. I decided to get the warrior smoothie but to take out a few ingredients I wasn't fond of. I ended up kind of creating my own that I really liked. Everyone was so nice to help me and everyone is super fast moving. I was in and out in less than five minutes! It's definitely a quick and easy way to get in your protein or to have a nice hydrating beverage on a hot day. The place itself is clean, new looking, and has a lot to choose from off the menu.

As a health food vegan, I am always on the lookout for food like this: whole foods/plant-based, including some oil-free options. Their whole menu reads like a list of my favorite food buzzwords: buckwheat, lentil cauliflower scramble, sunflower seed meat, local fermented sauerkraut, freshly milled Sonoran wheat; tempeh, sourdough, homemade seeded bread, homemade cashew milk, etc. etc. It was legitimately hard to decide what to get. I went with the baked(!) strawberry banana oat buckwheat pancakes. Super tasty, and a generous portion. I also couldn't resist an oil-free sunbutter cookie (with its wacky bluegreen tinge that was apparently from the sunflower seeds) and also loved the cold brew coffee with cashew milk.

It is a little pricey, however, it's worth the cost. As I mentioned, everything is healthy and made fresh. You can't get that without paying a bit extra Their bread is so good, the chutney is awesome, their little side salads are so tasty. I haven't tried anything here that I have not loved. They are a small husband and wife run business, which is always great to see. They are very friendly people who clearly love what they do. There's limited seating indoors, as it's inside Barnone, but you can easily find places to sit outdoors as well.
