I wanted to bring year 2016 with better health decisions. As far as me I've always been small-framed literally my entire life. But as you get older, and I'm a witness to it, not eating the right foods and not doing any type of physical activity can bring the pounds on. I purchased a Gold GNC card for $20 and its good till 2018. I like to visit the store when they have sales and clearance items. This particular store is located on 17th ave and Biscayne Boulevard in the Publix Plaza. GNC offers a large selection of vitamins, protein bars, weight loss, and muscle building products. This store is more on the smaller side compared to the other stores I visited at other locations. I received a $10 coupon flyer in the mail and noticed online and thank you to Ebates.com, GNC was having a two for $20 on various vitamins and supplements. I was running low on my supplements and I wanted to re-up and take advantage of the savings. I called and asked the employee does GNC price matched their online sales? He quickly responded, "yes, as long as I can show him the prices on the phone. I entered the store and began shopping. Luckily I was able to find everything I was looking for. He was very helpful and being the true sales rep, showing new items being featured at the store, and other supplements and vitamins that can be beneficial to my health. I ended up buying more than expected. I was given a lot of samples to try out, which was good. GNC will see more of me in the up coming months as I try to get myself back to a healthy me again.

This location is perfect for me and the store is so clean and bright. Customer service good A+.

I randomly stumbled upon this little hole in the wall while walking home one afternoon, and I am so…read moreglad I did!! It is part vegan kitchen, part natural grocery store, and completely full of heart. From the outside you might not expect much, but the second you walk in you can feel the energy. The main guy in the kichen - my man Carlos!! - has so much charisma. Before I even had time to fully look at the menu, he handed me a small sample of their soup of the day. It was warm, flavorful, and honestly so delicious that I was instantly sold! I am not even vegan, but the food completely won me over. Everything tasted fresh, nourishing, and thoughtfully made. I ordered more than I planned to, and I have to admit something funny. I do not have a single picture of what I ate or drank because I literally gulped it down so fast. It was that good. The only photo I managed to take was of the enchiladas, the menu, and of course; Carlos! Everything else disappeared before I even thought about my phone. They also made me a freshly squeezed orange juice, and I watched them use actual oranges right there. No fake juice, no concentrate, just real oranges being squeezed. It tasted fresh and clean. On top of all that, the prices are very reasonable. It feels good to eat something that is both healthy and affordable. The store side is just as charming, with shelves full of natural supplements, spices, snacks, drinks, and little treasures you did not know you needed. Everyone there was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have customers walk through the door. It ended up being such a fun and unexpected experience for me. I walked in out of curiosity and left with a full stomach and a big smile. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, or none of the above, I truly recommend stopping by and supporting this spot. Places like this deserve all the love!!

Let me tell you, it was hard to get me out. First of all, I love the owner! She's the coolest lady with a wickedly intuitive insight for spotting out exactly what you need. The aisles are packed with tons of herbal remedies for literally any ailment your body can throw at you. Vegan? They got you. Vegetarian? There's an aisle for that. Overprotective mom who passed her Vicks VapoRub stage? Say no more. Dude, they even have avocado honey and some groovy migraine drops for when the Palmetto Expressway fusses with your chakras. Herbs, spices, tinctures, and supplements galore is what you'll find on your visit here. I'm surprised more people aren't flocking here like wild geese. Hipsters, come get your mangosteen on over here because this is where the wild things are. Let's put it this way, I walked out of here with a higher awareness of the whole idea that my body is a machine, and that sometimes, that machine cannot solely survive from croquetas alone. Wild, but true. I've never seen artichoke tea but on my next trip here, I'm grabbing a box of it...because why not? Miami Lakes has character and it's found throughout Hale's Health Food so throw yourself Herbalife away and wear your best leggings because this one is a gem worth celebrating.
