Love coming here to check out all the new protein powders and especially the protein bars. They've always got the best items in stock, and they have some stuff that is hard to find in other shops. For example my favorite protein bar is the Quest Hero bar, and I always come here to get some. The staff is always friendly and helpful when I have any questions regarding the nutrition and flavor of specific items, it's a great place to come if you want to better your health. The shop is near the corner of a pretty big plaza shared by a Ralph's. There's tons of parking so you're likely to get a good spot when visiting here. read more

Drove a half hour to get here and they're closed at 6:30PM on Wednesday. No on answering the phones. No note on the door. It says they're open until 9PM. Waste of gas and time. read more

They suite me good. I will return again. read more

This location engages in fraudulent business practices and refused to return an online order item despite being required to according to GNC terms and conditions. The guy that works there plays dumb and treats you like a 2 year old. read more

Went in and was looking for some supplements when AJ behind the counter saw what I was buying and suggested a alternative buy, that I would have never looked at. Even reminding me about my GNC rewards. I waited to post this review to see if the results were similar to the items I previously bought. Not only are they exactly what I was looking for as a pre workout boost but cheaper than the alternative I've always bought. New favorite GNC give AJ a raise!!! read more

I never go shopping for stuff at GNC. Had a bad experience with this lame dude. But I wanted to learn more about men's vitamins. The salesperson Jannyce was well informed and didn't make me feel dumb. Super sweet and polite. read more

Not often do you run into people that have the info you're looking for, Eddie at GNC was a beast with the knowledge. I definitely recommend this location for fitness and health needs. Thanks guys!! read more

Was about to go in cuz I see they have four and a half stars but I decided to call first to make sure that they had an item in stock. My issue is with AJ he likes to play mind games I essentially spelled out the name of the item that I needed used terms on the bottle that's part of the name and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about and said they don't have any products that I'm requesting even in the price range of the $75 that I specified. I know from a different employee that this is one of the most expensive items in this category. After I kept asking him you don't have this item are you sure three times he then decides to pronounce the name that I was having a hard time saying. And then said he didn't know what I was talking about then changed it to he couldn't hear me the phone was breaking up even though he repeated the phrase that I was saying to him. I will definitely not be coming here ever. And my advice to you guys is watch out for AJ he might fuck with your regimen for just sale purposes or personal gain or entertainment read more

I am at GNC at least once a month to get my vitamin supply. The staff is always friendly and helpful, they literally walk me to each isle to help me find the bottles that I need, well... they keep moving the vitamins around so this hand holding comes in handy when I can't find what I'm looking for. The staff is also knowledgeable, I describe what I need and they make helpful suggestions. I would suggest that if you are a regular customer like me you should pay the small fee to become a member to take advantage of the discounts and coupons that they will send to your inbox. read more

I have been to this store upwards of 6 times and it CONSISTENTLY has completely empty shelves!? Not even specialized items but CORE products aren't available. It looks as if the store has been robbed most times. There is ALWAYS an excuse....this time I'm told it's because the owner is getting married? This is COMPLETELY unacceptable for a major corporation! I'm sick of driving here for nothing! read more

I like this location because it's sort of close to home and there is one guy that works there that is super helpful. For the most part I never ever went to GNC stores because I had no reason to be in there. Since I've started running I needed to get something healthy to put in me after I would run so I thought what a better place then GNC to find something nutritious for post work out. So I went to this location and the guy working walked me through what was good, their deals they had going on and it was a no pressure gig. Now I've been in other times when my guy isn't working and I feel like I'm at a car dealership trying to get swindled by a sales guy. This feeling I don't like and when the guy isn't there I usually just leave. Anyway, I found what I needed and I feel like it's making a difference. read more

GNC - AJ getting my vitamins - Vitamins & Supplements Near Me - Lake Balboa, California

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly! They did give me (what seemed to be) their honest opinion about products and they didnt say the most expensive product was the best. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I felt they tried to sell me more than I wanted, which is what is done is sales but I got a little annoyed about it. They DID NOT pressure me at all just kept showing me product and telling me this would be good for me and so on. Not a huge deal, but the deal breaker for the 5th star lol read more

First of all I love supplements. So I was happy to meet AJ because he is sooooo knowledgeable about supplements. He's taught me about why I needed protein and showed me the best fat burners and reminded me that I love CLA and need to start taking it again. I work out all the time, from yoga to biking to weight lifting and on top of all of that I am a vegetarian so I need to take supplemental vitamins, to be sure I am not deficient, in addition to getting all my other supplements to keep in shape and keep energized. The staff here, especially AJ were super helpful on the multiple occasions that I have come here this month, even when I decided that I really didn't like a certain brands chocolate protein powder, they exchanged it for me without a problem for a much better tasting peanut butter chocolate protein powder.. it was amazing. On top of it they gave me great ideas on how to add protein powder in pancakes and waffles, pb chocolate protein pancakes with bananas on top, YUM! They have done a great job here, and they mentioned that they were new in this location, I will definitely come back here! read more
