Dear Whole Foods Market Store Manager, I am writing to share…read morefeedback regarding my experience at your Fairfax location this morning around 7:50 AM. I arrived early to purchase a birthday cake for a family celebration. Seeing that employees were already inside working at the customer service counter, I politely asked if it might be possible to process the payment early so I could stay on schedule. Unfortunately, the team strictly refused and insisted I wait until exactly 8:00 AM. While I fully respect official store hours, safety protocols, and store policies, rules are made by people, and there should always be room for reasonable exceptions. Refusing a simple request just 10 minutes before opening--when staff was already present and available--felt unnecessarily rigid and unhelpful. I had to leave to get gas and return, which added unnecessary stress to an already busy morning. I value Whole Foods for its quality products and usually high customer service standards. However, outstanding customer service relies on flexibility and good judgment when special circumstances arise. Like others who have also reviewed the new one, I, too, envisioned it would be like the ones in Fair Lakes and Ashburn. But, alas, no :( Still, it is far better than the old location. While this one doesn't offer any seating areas where one can order food, it is more spacious. Thus, their produce section is larger than the meat and seafood sections. Although they brag about having a huge cheese selection, it's about the same size as it was before. The problem regarding the size of the place is most likely because Reston doesn't have a spot for a huge store. Unless they were to find a plot of land in a good location, then build a free-standing one. That would be pricey! We think the aisle signs could be better labeled. For example, we wanted to get some tofu, but despite wandering around, I couldn't find it. Finally, I saw an employee and asked him. He directed me to a refrigerated case that was near the bakery and sushi counter. Otherwise, we found everything we wanted to get. So, yes, we will return...but not to do all our shopping there. They don't call it "Whole Paycheck" for nothing.

Personally, i've had my frozen meals slammed on the counter as if I inconvenienced them. I've even had to help them take the frozen meals out of the basket while they have attitude. I hope they retrain their staff to have better customer service skills, or close the shop at 230 pm if it inconveniences them so much. Perhaps it's 1 or 2 bad apples, specifically on Sundays, but enough for me to notice a pattern.

He is so nice and I could tell he cares and knows his stuff. I was eager to try sea moss as it has many benefits. I believe a jar was about $50. I bought one flavorless and was consistent with taking it orally and a week later I began applying it topically on my face. From my honest experience it helped calm down my cystic acne, but only when I began applying it topically. As for energy levels, more focus, overall better moods, etc.., it made a very subtle difference. My sister who was also taking it with me said that she felt a difference in her energy levels and felt "happier" / in a better mood. I think it just depends on each person. The taste was not bad at first but after a few times of taking it morning and evening (twice a day) I was not liking the taste. When it goes in the texture is gel / pudding like with no flavor but after you swallow it tastes like something that shouldn't be edible. I don't have the right words to describe the taste because it is 100% edible, just does not taste like it should be. There are also many different products at the store. I would recommend giving sea moss a try if it is something you're interested in because it helped me with what I was searching for, just not the other benefits it is supposed to have.
