We prioritized our health and fitness recovery through illness, my own surgery, and our drop in income, so we continued to purchase through Nutrishop. Today I asked the employee if there was a more affordable product than the one I had been using. Instead of answering my question, he told me to purchase the same product in a smaller size, which was still more expensive than the other brands. He immediately turned and left us without offering any actual help. He was incredibly awkward and ignored us, and he also helped other customers at checkout before us, even though we were at the counter first. He remained awkward and uncommunicative throughout. I would like to point out this employee was incredibly friendly, open, and helpful to other customers in the shop. He specifically did not want to help with our question about pricing and treated us differently for needing to make a budget-friendly choice. It's really a shame and a bad look for this business, and the experience disgusts me. We will never come back.

I never knew a day would come that they'd stab me in the back like this, in order to be capitalist jerks who use politics to push their sales. Well, they've lost my business. Because you see, I am scared. I have little time left to live. I want to live as long as possible for my young children. I want every second possible with them. My Children who are too young to get a vaccine. They have health issues too that would be potentially deadly if they caught covid. If I get covid, even though I'm vaccinated, I could die before I was meant to from this disease. I fought for them. I wish Flex Fitness could do the truly American thing and wear a little piece of cloth on their face to protect me. When I politely indicated I was next in line, the budtender ignored the standard first-come-first-serve process. When I spoke up, instead of a simple 'I'll be right with you,' he chose to argue and condescendingly suggested that I hadn't been 'paying attention' because I was looking at the display cases with my back to him. It was a frustrating, dismissive and belittling experience that felt entirely unnecessary / disrespectful. I appreciated that the front-door staff heard me out and apologized for the interaction, but it's unfortunate that the service on the floor didn't match their level of professionalism. I've visited this location many times and I've never had this experience, what a shame.
