Just stopped by this location. It is currently closed, and the hours are not posted....and there's a busy signal when I call.

Best little health store this side of the Pecos! Hill…read moreCountry Health Store just recently celebrated their 29 year of service! I'm sure one reason they've been around that long is because of the great food a great service. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I've stopped in several times when passing thru Marble Falls and have never been disappointed. They have everything you can think of-- alternative organic vegan health related; even crystals, books--you name it. Also, they have a kitchen that serves up fresh health food daily--what must be the best tasting health food I think I've ever had. This place feels like home. Almost makes me wish I lived in Mineral Wells. Everything is Gluten Free and Dairy Free--even the sweeties. So, if you have any food, allergies or sensitivities, this is the place. They also offer all kinds of health and healing modalities and therapies in the back. I'm usually just passing thru whenever I stop by, so haven't checked out their other services yet, but they do have an online sight where you can find more info. The frozen entree dishes are my fav. Prices are reasonable for this type of fare--except certain supplements I found in the apothecary, I thought are a bit overpriced, IMO. But on the upside--if there's something you need they probably have it. Regular parking is usually no problem with plenty of spaces out front just off Highway 281. If, however, you're like me, pulling a travel trailer or driving a big rig, then the best option is to park on Northwood Drive where there's plenty of free street curb parking available and then take a short walk to the store. I just recently tried their superfood smoothie and fresh hot served soup bowl. Definitely a must stop. See ya there next time.

Excellent health store. They have a large supply of pretty much anything you might need. They also…read morehave a person that can help you with advice.

Their healthy clean food would convert me into a regular customer, if I lived closer. The drive to Bastrop is worth it for the quality difference. This is clearly a women-owned business that puts serious thought into sourcing and preparation. The smoothies are perfectly blended - no chunks of frozen fruit or watery disappointments. Everything tastes like it was made to order with actual care, not just thrown together. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with that trendy-but-not-intimidating vibe that makes you feel good about your healthy choices. The staff genuinely seems to enjoy what they're doing, which always elevates the experience. When you're investing in your health, it's nice to do it somewhere that feels like a treat rather than a chore.

The beautiful, amazing, caring, thoughtful, considerate owner we were so blessed to chat with while ordering our food gave us some compost for our animals here on our homestead. We were very lucky to have found this delightful place while traveling to Austin. If you have time on your way it's worth a stop in.

PERFECT?! Intriguing! The linguistics alone sold me. 20% of your daily recommended protein. Ingredients that I UNDERSTAND. That I would actually cook with. Very little sugar, gluten free... basically a protein bar that is way more delicious and lacks any weird shit I've never heard of. When I visited Whole Foods the other day, they were giving free samples of a protein bar. I countered with, "But have you tried The Perfect Cookie?" And began an uncharacteristically promotional rant. I think I convinced her. Yes, these facts are interesting but OH MY GOD. The flavor! I adore Grandma's Cookies (the brand) and this tastes EXACTLY like Grandma's.. but I don't feel horrible when I eat five. So dense and soft and decadent. I've tried all three flavors (macadamia nut and white chocolate, chocolate chip, and peanut butter) WAY too many times in the month since I've discovered this bliss and they are all fantastic. Why you gotta make cookies seem so harmless and good for me? THIS JUST ISN'T RIGHT. The HEB 20% off coupon isn't helping either.

I have not tried the cookies but the Oatmega Bars are awesome. When I don't have time for a sit down meal post workout I will occasionally pick up an Oatmega Bar from either Snap Kitchen or MyFit Foods. I usually cannot stand the chalky meh taste of "healthy" bars or they have more calories than I want. While I am not a fan of how their Dark Chocolate Peanut bar tastes, the Vanilla Almond is heavenly and the Dark Chocolate Mint tastes just like a Girl Scout thin mint cookie. All the bars are 190 calories, have 14 grams of protein, gluten free, have antioxidants from green tea and are loaded with omega 3s. Some of the ingredients include grass-fed whey protein, organic brown rice, organic raisins, non-GMO sunflower lecithin but warning to the vegetarians it does contain fish oils. They do not have a storefront but you can purchase a box online. They are also carried at some HEBs, Central Market, Fresh Plus, and I have seen them at some of the Snap Kitchens and MyFit Foods locations.
