The atmosphere is great - it's in one of the best decorated spaces I've seen. Everything is clean, there's lots of natural light, lots of plants. Basically everything you could ask for. I had my eyebrows tinted and my lip waxed. I told Christa I like to keep my brows fairly close to my natural color, and she matched the color incredibly well. My lip waxing happened without incident. Christa took the time to chat with me about my preferences before beginning which I appreciated. She seems to be an awesome woman and I'm so happy that I found her!

If it is your first time, you'll need to arrive 5ish minutes prior to your time to fill out paperwork and it is only street parking here so plan accordingly. I walked in and it it's a pretty small lobby with someone in the back at the front desk. There was a small bench which is where I waited until I was called in. I was greeted by Reina who was my facial it's and I completely recommend her! She was so friendly, making sure I was comfortable the whole time, was very knowledgeable with all the questions I had and really took her time with my skin. I got a mini facial which included cleanser, a massage, a mask, extractions and she added on light therapy to benefit my concerns. We were able to have a conversation the whole time and it was great getting to know her! With all my questions, she gave me advice and recommendations without being too pushy. My teeth increased in brightness by, I think, five shades. She has a stained teeth model that goes from very dingy to very white and will show you what color your teeth are before the procedure then what they got to after the procedure. I drink tea and coffee every day and was amazed at how white she got my teeth! The hardest part of the procedure is not having any "colored" drinks in the first 24 hours after the service. I was jonesing for coffee the next day. :)

Turns out, I seem to have developed an allergy to wax, as I had a very intense and painful reaction on the skin that was waxed. But, once my skin healed? Dark tint and brow shape look great! Lisa let me know that she doesn't like to taper the end of the brow and I was feeling like mine weren't looking feminine enough, so I reached back out after and she offered to adjust them. We had a great time during the appointment. We got things off on the right foot (insert sarcasm here) when I broke her table... Yep, put one butt cheek up on it and the whole thing came crashing down. She was so cool about it, even though I was super embarrassed. I'm fat, so I was blaming myself and she just kept telling me that it was a super old table and she needed to get a new one anyway. I'm pretty sure that I apologized ten times and she insisted it wasn't a big deal. I laid down on the couch in her waiting room and we used that to get things done, lol! Thanks to the allergic reaction, I'm not sure Lisa will be able to become my new brow gal, but I would absolutely come back for other services!

In addition, the Luxury package includes basic facial treatments, such as makeup or sunscreen removal, gentle face wash, soothing facial massage using the Gua Sha stone, and a revitalizing face mask. I was greeted at the door by friendly staff, and they helped me change into slippers and escorted me to a waiting area with delicious herbal tea while I waited. They said the tea had many health benefits, and there is even a flyer in the lobby explaining each element in the tea. The ceiling was covered in gold glitter, plenty of natural light from the windows, and a calming atmosphere. Tina was my masseuse, and she came and got me from the waiting area. She was wonderful, professional, and mentioned she only works on Sundays. The treatment room has three beds side by side, separated by curtains. I came around 5 pm, so it was starting to die down. It was quiet except for the soft clinking of the stones, gua sha, and the sounds from the steam treatment and water used to rinse. The room was dimly lit when I came in, it was little bit brighter when I opened my eyes. At the end of my session, after I got dressed (they have you take off your top and bra so they can massage your neck and shoulders easily, and they give you one of those spa wrap robes to wear during the treatment), Tina blow-dried my hair before sending me off. There was another sweet older lady who gave me more of that delicious tea, and they had a three-tiered serving tray with some candy and chips. The coffee candy is where it's at, I also grabbed a ginseng candy to try too. They were both so wonderful, I hugged them before leaving! I cannot wait to come back and take my boyfriend with me next time. This was a top tier experience and will proudly spread the word. I already have a few people in mind that live in the area that may love this! Please support this lovely local business!
