This was my first adventure in spray tanning, and Glow did not disappoint! While it's not a perfect science for coverage, it was pretty darn close and anything that was a little off was not at all where it was going to be noticeable. I had a ballroom dance showcase event that I wanted to have some fresh color for, so I went in the day prior. The only downside to the whole process was that I felt like I should be standing still and dry for at least 12 hrs, and I was unclear on when I could actually take a full-on shower (with soap). I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because I left Glow feeling like perhaps my new tan was going to come off by the next day if i wasn't super ultra careful (and prob smelly due to no shower). It turns out that while some of the intensive color did come off with my first rinse, the remaining color was perfect for my dance event and I would definitely come back here again for the next showcase. *Note - parking is near the back of the building and the entrance is the same for the adjoining salon - just have to go up the staircase to find your Glow. :) read more

Had my first spray tan at Glow yesterday. I followed the pre, during, and post instructions on their website and I love my results. I didn't know what type of look to get so I had the technician suggest a color formula for me. I tanned topless with my underwear left on. It was completely comfortable after the initial Second when she came in the room. I figure they see the same thing all the time so I should get over myself. The color is great and not too dark. Very natural looking. I will def visit Glow again! read more

This was my first experience here and my first experience with being tanned by an actual person. I have gotten many spray tans but always from a booth. This is something that was extremely out of my comfort zone but the woman who completed my spray tan was so nice and did not make me feel in the least bit uncomfortable. The color was instant and develops more over time which I liked as compared to the booth from a tanning salon there is no color at first. The only downfall is that I went when it was pouring rain and wore shorts and a tshirt. I covered up with a poncho but it still didnt help. Woke up with obvious splotches on my legs and arms, my chest and back looked great though, not streaky at all and good color. They were very good with providing thorough aftercare instructions for how to care for your tan. My skin on my face ended up getting very dry from the spray tan but I also have super sensitive skin. Overall I had a good experience. I was seriously kicking myself for not wearing sweatpants and a jacket but when I left my house (an hour away) the forecast was 85 and sunny- no rain! I went to glow a few weeks ago for my first spray tan ever. I was super nervous, as I have an olive complexion and was afraid I would look orange/weird with a fake tan. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Their studio is clean and the process was quick and easy. My color developed evenly and lasted about 5 days. I used to tan non stop when I was in high school...then I got paranoid about wrinkles and cancer, so I stopped. I miss that golden color, no, not orange, you would get when you tanned. I would go to the spray tan booth at different salons, but I always ended up with weird streaks on my body. I was going to a wedding and I really looked ghostly..scary white. I heard someone talk about Glow so I googled it and did some research. I found out the owner is the person that trains everyone that does custom spray tan. I pulled the trigger, made and appointment and went in. I'm not gonna lie, I was freaked out because someone would actually be spraying me and applying the color on me. I was greeted when I walked in to the salon that smelled like I just walked onto a tropical beach. Anne was the one that was spraying me, she gave me the run down of what to do...when she was done with the spray tan, I could instantly see the bronze color to my skin and knew it was all even. No weird lines, or blotches, or umpa lumpa coloring...it really turned out perfect. Over the next few hours the color developed. It was a perfect mix for my skin tone and gave me just the right amount of glow. This is the only spray tan place I have gone to and I have never been disappointed. If you are on the fence about getting it done, I definitely recommend that you go to Glow and try it out. Go slow into the parking lot and you should be ok. This was my first time getting a spray tan, and I was sprayed by the owner who seemed to know what she was doing - and I dont look orange or blotchy or streaky at all :) Cant comment on price since I haven't been anywhere else. When I came in, I was shown their boutique where they do have a lot for sale (short sales pitch) , however ...at the end I was just asked briefly if I wanted anything else, and that was it - so, I didn't feel that pressured. This was my first experience in getting a spray tan. I have used tanning beds for many years but have been very reluctant recently in using them due to getting skin cancer. I felt this was a really healthy way of getting a nice tan for a special event. I would do it again for sure and hightly recommend this facility. I have had a sunless tan before and wasn't sure how this place was gonna be ... but I enjoyed every minute... I prefer to do custom spray tans the machine don't always catch everything... but Stacy was amazing so knowledgeable and helpful threw the whole process... I'm of a very pale complexion and decided to try spray tanning for a wedding in California. I had never tried this before and when I booked the appointment the woman was incredibly helpful and talked me through the process and how I would need to prepare. The appointment was effortless (apart from me getting myself a little lost!) and the woman was extremely nice and understanding. I believe her name was Amanda but I'm not entirely sure as I've been all over the place today! The process was painless and very quick and she instructed me the entire time. There's another review stating she was pushed into purchasing products, my experience was completely different. I was shown products which would help keep the tan fresh and I opted to buy the travel size to try them out, it was all very pleasant and I didn't feel pressured in anyway. I'm confident that if I opted not to that it would have been absolutely fine! I'm going to see how I like the process of the tan on vacation and would definitely return if it suits me. read more

I went here on a Thursday for a spray tan for a wedding I was attending on a Saturday. Staff was professional and very nice, but my tan had a very orange hue the next day. Not a fan of the formula they use. My wrists, hands and ankles were blotchy even though I followed the prep instructions and exfoliated the previous day. I have received multiple spray tans before at a location in Buffalo, NY, and was always happy with the results there. Knowing that the spray absorbs more in areas where the skin is thicker and dry, I asked the technician if I should apply moisturizer to those areas before receiving the spray tan. She told me no, and instructed me to moisturize the next day after showering. It is now Monday and I'm still trying to hide the blotchy skin on my wrists. I don't think I will be going back to this place. read more

My overall experience was amazing ! The girl I had made me feel comfortable and like I was at home! since it was my first time getting a spray tan she was very nice and showed me the ropes. The color was perfect for my skin tone and I walked out with a nice natural tan. After I rinsed later though my tan was faded in some areas and I had a few areas I noticed didn't have as much color where the other side of my body did. Unfortunately my experience was not stellar. The staff was really nice but perhaps need more experience in application. The day after the application, I did have a glow...an orange glow that really did not look natural. Most disturbing was that the tanning spray pooled on the sides of my feet which made it look as if there was a dark line outlining my feet; my wrists, ankles, and hands were very blotchy. I tried, to no avail, to vigorously scrub and exfoliate to remove the product but had to wait until it slowly wore off. I do have a suggestion: please change the towel the customer stands on when receiving the spray; I directly followed the last client in the room after she walked out thus my observation. read more

I was wary of spray tans but decided to give Glow a try- Anne Marie could not have been more welcoming and assuring on my first visit. Glow gives such a natural looking spray tan that I've done it for winter and summer events to get a subtle, healthy look. I just tried the new 'Pure' spray tan and love that it doesn't have any smell and uses all natural products. The glow lasts for quite a while (with or without take-home product help) and is well worth the trip! Their new location has so many great services (and funky jewelry!) to offer. But aside from their excellent services and boutique- Rebecca and Anne Marie have created such a friendly atmosphere that I always look forward to my visits! read more

I went to Glow based on a recommendation from a friend. The location was great and easy to find. The experience was top notch from begining to end. It cost $35 for the full body spray tan. $5 off for student id! I had the tan on Thursday evening and it looked awesome at the wedding I had on Saturday. I got a lot of compliments. The color of the tan was very natural. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my legs are now pretty blotchy. Not sure why though, because the rest of my body still looks great! I would go back if I had another event to go to and I wanted some color without cancer!!! read more
