Love love loved my spray tan from here. I was so shocked at how amazing it turned out. I am a pretty pale person and was worried I would turn orange but that was not the case at all. I have a beautiful glow and now ready for my trip. The smell of the spray is so nice too you can tell its not made from a million crazy chemicals. The owner herself did my spray tan and did an amazing job. They ask you to dress down to whatever you are most comfortable with (I went just underwear) and the spray was so fast and easy. Beware! I had an appointment Thursday evening at 6pm and waited on the sidewalk for a half hour!!!! No one answered the phones or appeared to be in the building. Another lady showed up for her appointment right behind me and we both ended up leaving. I left messages on the phone that was going straight to voicemail and sent a text as well. Thought maybe it was all a huge misunderstanding as I cannot believe someone would be so inconsiderate and negligent to not even send a text or call to cancel the appointments she has at her own place of business!!! It's now 24 hours later and I have not heard anything!!!!! If you have an appointment here I recommend you have a backup plan in place. Luckily, Southbeach Tanning Company (also in Webster) was able to get me in last minute as I left for a week long vacation today. I've never experienced being ghosted by a "professional" like this--I previously had a great experience here when I came a year or so ago but I will never return! read more

If you know me (or click through my profile photos) you're aware of how fair my skin is. We'll call it translucent. So, when my friend suggested we get spray tans for her wedding, I was a little concerned about it being an absolute disaster and I'd end up like an oompa loompa, ultimately ruining her wedding. Thankfully, that was not the case! The owner was really sweet and walked us through the process as first-timers. It's a strange experience the first time around -- standing still in strange positions, not being able to rest your hands anywhere on your body, getting next to naked in front of a stranger -- but hey it all turned out OK. It isn't a lengthy process -- about 15 min. The only downside is that you feel pretty sticky after. I may have exaggerated my gestures walking like a stick figure for fear that I would smudge myself. You don't have to be that delicate, but I do recommend a flowy dress afterward because the less clothing touching you, the better. The best part: it looked spectacular. I opted for the lightest option and it looked like I had a subtle summer glow for a little over a week. No streaks, no orange! I will most definitely be back for special occasions. I can't say this is a priority on my end for the everyday look because it would be expensive to maintain, but rather a nice treat during the gloomy winter months or before special occasions (weddings, etc.). The owner is super talented, making what she does look easy. She mentioned she trains all the folks who do airbrushed spray tans in the area. A clear sign of skill. Worth the trek to Webster! Tips to remember: - Exfoliate and shave before you go in for a visit - Go a day or two before your big event because you can't shower for 8 hrs. after the spray and you'll shed that first bronzer layer in the shower (rather than all over your nice clothes) - Wear a dress or something dark and flowy - Don't wear makeup or remove it right before the appt. so your face remains the same color as the rest of your bod read more

BEWARE! AVOID! I just read another review that sounded similar to my experience last week. This past weekend I got married on Saturday and my mom and I had an appointment on Wednesday evening for a spray tan as I came in from Washington, DC. The appointment was made several months in advance, verbally confirmed on the phone the week before and also confirmed via email days before. When we showed up, we found another mother of the bride waiting on the steps outside of a completely dark shop with nobody around. We waited for another 30 minutes -- called, emailed, DM'd the owner with no response. In a panic, I was calling every tanning place in Rochester to get an appointment. Giving this woman the benefit of the doubt, I figured I would give it a few days to hear from her before I wrote this review in case there was an emergency that evening. It has been six days since then and we have heard NOTHING. How DARE YOU ghost a bride, and mothers of brides. Thank you for ruining my evening during a critical time in preparation for my wedding. read more

This was the worst customer service experience!! The owner was the rudest person on the phone. The phone call to the salon resulted from being told the wrong date and time twice, and a group left outside for an hour while the doors were locked. The owner wouldn't take any responsibility for the mistake, despite texts and emails. She had an air of entitlement and annoyance, and just kept repeating, "I don't know what to tell you". After hearing "I don't know what to tell you" about 10 times, I asked for an apology, which I begrudgingly received. It was an "I'm sorry you feel this way". Any other small business owner I've ever encountered makes it a point to fix mistakes and express gratitude for the business - NOT SPRAY! Just be warned, Spray deserves your money - you don't deserve good customer service. Sunless tan salons are all over the city - pick a different one that appreciates you! Spray certainly doesn't. I'll spend my money elsewhere. Full disclosure - they gave us free "prep spray" once the appointment finally started. I'd assume because the emails were reviewed and she realized she screwed it up twice. Despite that, it shouldn't have gotten that far. A simple "I'm sorry" would have gone a long way. I spent a little over 300 dollars on a red loght therapy bed membership and now since I'm down to 3 sessions I can gladly say it has done ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING for me. No changes in my skin at all. Not to mention there is only one bed and I'm highly doubtful the owner changes the bulb as often as she should. It says walk ins are welcome on the website but I had to make an inconvienet appointment every time to make it to the sessions. I've even drive here a few times during "normal" business hours and no one has been here. I can never use the bed when it's convenient for me. Needless to say the bed didn't work and the business is not ran well at all. Very inconvenient establishment for the price I paid. read more
