I have had many massages at various spas and have never been told this before. After doing some quick googling, the weight limit of most tables appears to be 600-800 lbs. I do not exceed this weight (luckily) so I find this odd. It was later in the day so I am not sure if this concern was genuine or done in an attempt to speed things along or to avoid having to clean the massage room. I would've preferred to flat out be denied service. The waiting room I was massaged in had no music, there was a loud clock ticking noise, it was very bright, and another person was in the room while the massage took place. Very difficult to relax and I was disappointed. I've been here in the past and received better treatment and service. Scheduling is also strange. As you can imagine, I was very disappointed and upset that they hadn't followed up on their word. They did have a massage therapist to give me my massage, but no reflexology. Afterwards, I paid and gave him a signed receipt to which he replied, "How much tip?" I told him and he complained in what little English he knew to say that I asked for a calf massage and only tipped 20%. First, I didn't know a 20% tip was an insult. Second, it left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't think I'd go back. We are not required to tip service. Gratuity is based on experience. And my experience was average at best.
