She considers your skin tone along with hair color when choosing the pigment color to use, she measures carefully to create a shape that will enhance your face and age well over the years, she frequently pauses to check the shape and symmetry throughout the application process, she uses high quality needles that apply the pigment cleanly and don't scar your skin, and she keeps your skin numbed well so the procedure isn't uncomfortable. She has done a great job correcting my shoddy eyebrow job done 5 years ago by Winnie with Lashe Love in Durham. I trust Jenice wholeheartedly and I'll keep seeing her for touch-ups as long as she keeps working, which I hope is a very long time! Getting my permanent eyebrow makeup is one of the best things I've ever done for myself and Jenice's expertise and skilled application is worth every penny. Seriously, do yourself a favor - don't fall for Groupon deals, and run away from technicians who use stencils or freehand without measuring to create the shape for your eyebrows - go to Jenice and know you are in the very best and most qualified hands!

I had a consultation with Sonya and we worked out a strategy to achieve what I wanted for my brows. I got them done twice in VA, both several years ago and they had started to fade a bluish/greenish brown from the dark brown they had been. This is actually the second local salon I visited for this service, the first told me I'd need to have them lasered off before starting over. Sonya evaluated and said she could fix them no problem. The first session we worked on the color correction and kept the shape mostly the same. The second session (a month later) we finalized the color and went a little bigger on the shape. The final session (a month later) we finished the shape and I ended up with exactly what I wanted. The process was easy, I felt informed every step of the way and Sonya is clearly an expect in her craft. As mentioned above, I have also been going to this salon for my eyelashes for a few months with Maria. She is also an expert at her craft and I always love my lashes. I have been very happy with my experience at Epo Beauty and I'm looking forward to seeing the new space.

As shown in the screenshots, rather than addressing the pricing discrepancy or concerns in writing, I was told to "move forward with my next steps" because I was not willing to switch to a phone call. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly and professionally before sharing this review. My request was simply for written clarification regarding a financial and service concern. Nini (her nickname) gave me a special cleaner to use to keep them fresh in between sessions, she gives me brushes each appointment and tips on how to make them last and continue to stay clean. She helps me find the best products for my skin, & even checks in with me to see how the products are working after her recommendations. I am a long time customer, 5+ years & I drive an hour to see her because there is not anyone better or more skilled that I would trust! My lashes are not damaged from having the extensions on consistently, which was one of my major fears, I had her take them off right before I received Lasik last year and my natural lashes were in perfect condition, unlike when I came to her and she had to fix them due to allowing someone else to redo my lashes.
