I showed up at 1:40pm and was told my appointment has been rescheduled to 2pm due to the wax specialist had taken another client. That's personally not my problem. I showed up early and on time. It's not my fault someone else can't respect other individuals time. I have been with European Wax center over a decade. I travel often between locations in TN, FL and NC. Sadly this location was the closet which is an hour away from where I stay. I have other obligations today and can't sit around and wait because somebody else decided not to be on time. It's completely inconsiderate and inconvenient. Side note the assistant manager was extremely emphatic and very friendly! I understand life happens. However today was not the day. I have other obligations. So very disappointing. And now I will have to drive an additional two hours just to get my already paid for services taken care of.

They line the foot bath of the spas with the plastic, so we were happy about that. We are also very glad we made an appointment because it was super busy. The only reason I am not giving 5-Stars is because the customer service was lacking. The person who did my pedicure was very rushed. She did a great polish job though. I had to ask her 4 times if she would wrap my nails so that I didn't have to wait an additional 20-30 minutes to let them soak for my new SNS. I am used to my nail tech doing this before my pedicure starts. I also had to ask for wine, no drinks were offered to us. The wine was great though. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, the place is great, the service could just be better.

So 20 minutes later, I'm at her place getting groomed. I was back in my car after another 20 minutes. She was fast. Which was surprising to me considering I haven't been waxed in a long time. This was my first time sugaring and it was better than I expected. Since I haven't waxed in awhile, I was pretty embarrassed. But Viktoria made me feel comfortable. This isn't a typical salon, but she keeps it clean. This is not a typical spa experience, and the location wasn't what I was expecting. Sugarland is more like going over to your girlfriend's house for some grooming help. I saw her changing her gloves when she needed to get more from the jar, so that was reassuring in terms of cleanliness. While I was changing, she already started removing the disposable liner and spraying down the table already. I was actually surprised at the smoothness of my skin afterwards. I guess I'm hooked on sugaring. It's more than I'd like to pay compared to regular waxing (eg. $50).... But I think sugaring is better for my skin.
