I had an excellent experience at Ratatat Tats. I emailed the store owner, Sebastian about the piece I was interested in, and we emailed back and forth several times for a few weeks with reference photos, drawings, and idea inspiration. I was able to get an appointment two weeks away from the initial email. After getting a better picture of the style I was interested in for a floral dogwood piece, he paired me up with the artist Julio. When I arrived at the studio, they were very welcoming and laid back. The studio has a very minimalistic and mature vibe to it. Julio made sure that the drawing was the perfect size/ layout before making the stencil and laying it on my arm. He was very collaborative and made sure I was 100% stoked about the design (which I was of course!). Julio has a great eye for detail and the tattoo is absolutely perfect! The needle he used was very thin, quiet, and surprisingly gentle. The tattooing room felt very clean, safe, and creative. We passed the time and chatted about music and books while he was working on my tattoo. I am in love with how it turned out! He made sure I understood all the aftercare instructions and told me I could come back after sitting with it for a few days if I want anything added/ touched up. I would definitely recommend Ratatat Tats to anyone looking for a friendly, fun, talented artist! I had Gabriella. She did an amazing job on my tattoo. It was my first tattoo. Sebastian was so nice. He communicated with me throughout the process. The facility was very clean. They made you where masks and checked you temperature as you came in. Gabrielle did an amazing job! I was shaking a little bit and she still was able to do amazing line work. I also received my tattoo on the rib and surprisingly it wasn't as painful as I had thought. This must be because of the experience of the artist. Highly recommend coming here. read more

I always went to Warlocks to see Julio and when I heard he moved to another shop I just had to follow him there. The shop is super clean and doesn't really even look like a tattoo shop.
