Lash extensions never looked right on me- lash lifts are the way to go! You can't see my lashes without a lash lift- they are light and point straight down normally. Here are some pictures showing my 3-week old lash lift - my everyday look with eyeshadow only, (no mascara) and after a very light swipe of brown mascara. I love how fast and easy it is to get ready in the morning without spending a lot of time curling my lashes, adding mascara and doing my brows. Kashia also did my eyebrow microblading (she corrected the previous work done by another person who had turned my brows pinkish). I have light brows which are harder to do right than dark brows, so I had done my research before coming here. New Look does a very through job introducing and explaining laser removal techniques, procedures, and benefits. I am among the many who view my skin as a personal canvas and unique platform for art. I have two tattoos that have meaning to me and go unseen most of the time. As with any permanent results, the final decisions are sometimes made with a blind rush and pressure to just take the leap. Unfortunately, with tattoos, the results may vary. The artist may not be on his or her game that day, the equipment is haphazardly treated, the ink is of questionable sources, and your skin may react negatively to the process. Regardless, the once thought "permanent" result of a tattoo are now not as permanent as you may think. The societal impact of being able to remove a bad ink job or regretful display of art on your canvas gives a new light to second chances. Laser tattoo removal is not only well developed but now cost effective and within most people's budget. The reason I bring this up is because I've been reading forums on ideas for tattoos and most people are OK deciding on art that only has aesthetic appeal to the viewer and not the owner. As a result of changing fads and your kids asking why grandpa has a droopy skin cartoon character of woody wood pecker, many people hide and regret the ink. I watched a video of a guy grinding down his skin with an electric sander to reach the ink in the dermal layer. As a health professional, I would say a hideous scar and excruciating pain with the risk of infection in not worth the damage. Those who are interested in learning more about the process of tattooing to assist in making sound decisions should check out the Science of Tattoos: http://www.newlookhouston.com/TattooRemoval_Tattoo.html#a6 I don't work for this company but they offer great information on laser tattoo removal and they bring up great points for those getting tattoos and for those who regretfully got tattooed. Hindsight is 20/20 but let me give you the chance to get ink with the comfort of knowing it doesn't have to live with you forever. read more

Dear Cousin: I have heard all about your courageous, spontaneous and independent decision to get a tattoo. All I can say is #you'rethetalkofthefamily! Is that what turning 18 years-old feels like? Do you think when I turn the magical independent age of 18 this will work for my much deserved belly ring? Just in case you have any regrets about that cool and smart tattoo, I stumbled upon New Look Laser Tattoo Removal website. If you follow this link: http://www.newlookhouston.com/TattooRemoval.html, you will find imperative information about the tattoo process. The website provides a review and discussion of the best available information that public should know concerning getting a tattoo or having a tattoo removed. Apparently laser tattoo removal is the preferred method of removing an unwanted tattoo. The process is highly effective with minimal side effects within the budget of most patients. Whenever you remove a tattoo there are typical side effects and risk involved in the process. One of the goals from the Tattoo Removal Guide is to "shatter ink in the skin but leave the skin as undamaged as possible." I think that will be important if you decide to remove that very visible tattoo from your body. I heard you got a good deal of the life time because a group of your friends decided to take the plunge together. If you ever get the urge to dwell into a second tattoo, be the wise and informed leader of the group. The New Look website will assist you and your friends in making a good decision regarding the tattoo process. The website (www.newlookhouston.com) was patient friendly and outlined scientific perspective on tattoos, laser physics and tattoo removal, medical components of laser tattoo removal and advice to tattoo removal patients. All easy reads! You have always been the courageous and spontaneous out the bunch. Hopefully, this note will help you and your friends become an educated consumer the next time you feel like plunging into the tattoo life! #Newlooktattooremoval Sincerely, Your less courageous cousin AMC read more

So, this place is the most professional and informative place that I found. I had a lot of questions about getting my tattoo removed. I've heard of a lot of bad horror stories about tattoo removal so obviously I had a lot of questions. I went to a few other places in the area to get a quote and every place I went felt like a sales pitch. The other places could give me a dollar amount just fine but knew NOTHING about the procedures. One place I went to the manager actually used the words "I don't know". . . The experience I had at NEW LOOK was nothing like my experience at the other places!! I was pleasantly surprised at how knowledgeable the ENTIRE staff was. Everyone was friendly and warm the minute I walked in. There was no rush during my consultation and the manager patiently answered all of my questions! Not only did she give me pricing but also knew everything there was to know about the procedure and what I could expect. After my consult I knew I found the right place. I would seriously recommend this place to anyone wanting tattoo removal! read more

As you are growing up, your parent tell you that tattoos are permanent. I, as a teenager got several tattoos (Persons name and pictures in visualible places). After High school, I relalized that my passion was in healthcare. After several interviews hearing the same thing, "your tattoos need to be covered or removed". I realized that my tattoos were not such i good idea or maybe the places I choose to put them weren't such A goos idea. Either way, I had to find a way to make my tattoos disappear or go unnoticed. I tried makeup, fabric cover ups and more. Nothing seemed to be a good solution. I then found New look tattoo laser removal. The way it is designed, what my parent said is not true. These people know what they are doing... I have had a tattoo that has bothered me ever since I got it on my shoulder (a little embarrassing). Their tattoo removal equipment is top of the line and they are very knowledgeable about the process/machines. After a couple treatments it is gone! The lasers sting a little but that is normal... or that's what I was told. Shoutout to Haley! Also... I don't do hair removal, but my girlfriend had been to some shady places around town. We are both happy with the results and the treatment was painless in her opinion. Lacey (I think that was her name... works up front) explained both treatments in detail. It's nice knowing there was a place in town that gives you real answers and makes you comfortable. Thanks to all there! read more

The staff does their job. Knowledgeable on SOME services. Some questions I've asked, the tech, and manager, stuttered and kind of just gave a vague explanation to my questions. Only issue I have is they are never on time. I've waited up to 20 minutes to be seen past my scheduled appointment before. Usually I have to wait about 12-15min. Which is still annoying. I don't know what they could possibly be doing ? Zap, clean the table, get the next person in guys! I've worked in one of these places before it's not hard. They Always offer new specials and products which is nice. Not too much of a hard up sell which is also nice. Clean. Aesthetically pleasing decor. Staff is nice. Talkative. Decent prices. Good sales. I just wish the wait wasn't so long. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !! HIGH RISK OF PARADOXICAL HYPERTRICHOSIS!!!!!!…read more I wish I could give Renova zero stars. I've been a customer for over five years, spending thousands of dollars on full-body laser hair removal, full-body touch-ups, and multiple 3-section packages. Instead of solving my hair growth issues, these treatments have caused an even worse problem. After the first few sessions, I noticed the hair on my face and neck growing thicker, darker, and coarser, while the rest of my body responded fine. Each time I voiced my concerns, I was told it must be a hormonal issue and advised to continue with more treatments. So, I did--spending more money on countless sessions, doctor visits and blood work, only to watch the hair on my face and neck grow back thicker and darker than before. Sure enough, there is nothing medically wrong with me (thank god!!) and I have been misled and lied to by this place. It wasn't until recently that a technician finally admitted the truth: in areas with minimal hair growth, laser hair removal can cause paradoxical hypertrichosis--the exact issue I've been experiencing. But by then, the damage was done. My facial hair is now thick, dark, and patchy, leaving me feeling self-conscious, depressed, and hopeless. After years of treatments that only made the problem worse, I demanded a refund. Instead of taking responsibility for their error, the owner flatly refused. They offered a few "free sessions," but this is completely useless--more treatments cannot fix what has already been done. The follicles have been stimulated, and the damage is irreversible. Not only have I wasted thousands of dollars on these treatments, but now I must spend even more on corrective procedures like electrolysis to try and undo the damage caused by Renova. These additional treatments will likely cost me far more than I've already spent, and I'm left with a significant financial burden. Renova's treatment of my concerns has been disgraceful. They took my money, ignored my repeated complaints, and now I'm left to deal with the consequences. If you're considering laser hair removal here, be warned: they don't prioritize your well-being. Once they have your money, they don't care about the results. Before purchasing any sessions or packages, save yourself the heartbreak and do your research. Even if they tell you about the risks of paradoxical hypertrichosis, ask yourself: Do you want to trust a clinic that treats its customers with this level of disregard? I know of at least four other people who've experienced the same issue at this location--this could easily happen to you or someone you care about. Renova has ruined my appearance, my confidence, and my finances. The owner's (Dr. Naghavi) refusal to issue a refund is further proof that they don't care about their clients. Don't make the same mistake I did. There are plenty of other places that will actually listen to your concerns and deliver safe, effective results. Renova is not one of them.
