Clean Canvas Laser - Tramp stamp is on its way OUT! - Tattoo Removal Near Me - Houston, Texas

I have been going to see John for over six years. Not to remove the same tattoo!! He has done an amazing job on removing multiple tattoos on me. The education he gives you and the passion he has for his craft is unlike any other provider I went to. I went to a couple of other places during that time and I wish I hadn't. Thank you clean canvas laser for taking care of me and my mistakes! read more

I came across Clean Canvas Laser through Ink-Removal.com and decided to give it a shot. Even though I'm in Dallas, the results mattered more than the location because i've seen the horror stories. John knows his stuff, and he's very realistic with the expectations...even with that, the progress is more than i could have expected in the first 2 sessions. My tattoo isn't gone yet, but it's definitely fading 5 stars! read more

I'm a very nice guy. And I respect all the hard work people do. I admit this guy is good at what he is doing. But he is very arrogant. And he is not a careful person and he seems like rushing the job done. When I point out the part where I want. He accidentally wash my other fine tattoo. And he also miss a part where I suppose to wash out. After i try to ask for redo. He wants to add extra money on top. Very disrespect. I'm not coming back to this guy anymore. read more

John is up front and realistic about the tattoo removal process - he told me from the start it may take awhile if the ink quality used was good and after 10+ sessions the results have been great, no scaring . The process is quick, a bit painful but tolerable. I highly recommend going here if you're serious about removing a tattoo the right way, requires patience but definitely worth it. The clinic was professional and clean! read more

This place is the best place for removing tattoos. I came from a different tattoo removal spot in Sugar Land that's notorious for scamming people to Clean Canvas Laser and this place gives me hope. 10/10 read more

Clean Canvas Laser - After one session - Tattoo Removal Near Me - Houston, Texas

I've been wanting to remove a small tattoo on my finger for two years. After much research, I am pleased to say I had an incredible experience with John. He was honest, professional and informative. The old saying that goes "Good tattoos are not cheap, cheap tattoos are not good" applies the same for tattoo removal. Don't discount your skin. In regards to pain, I'm a huge wimp. It wasn't necessarily painful, it was more irritating and like a sharp rubber band snapping. I started to get scared and teared up out of fear but John did a great job of calming me down. I will follow up with more progress over the next 6-8 months. read more

Clean Canvas Laser - Before, right after, 3 hrs later. No bleeding or blistering like so many other removal photos & videos I have seen. Stay tuned. - Tattoo Removal Near Me - Houston, Texas

This is an UPDATE of my initial review. I received about 11 treatments over the course of 4 years. I waited a year between treatment 10 & 11 and took longer breaks in between the other treatments. I would not have trusted this process with anyone else other than John. He knows what he's doing and he also helped hold me accountable to adjust my lifestyle in order to achieve the best results throughout the process. Once I quit smoking is when it really started to disappear. I had to make changes of my own in order for the removal to really work. Im happy with the results and happy I found someone I could trust to do a great job without any scarring. The results are pretty incredible. Thanks John read more

Will definitely come back! Had a difficult time finding the right place to remove my tattoo. I actually didn't want to have it removed, but once I applied with the Houston Police Department I was told it had to go. Sure enough I chose Clean Canvas and I am more than pleased with the results. I was able to continue my process with HPD after one session, but I decided to continue to remove it and was done in three sessions (we thought it would take longer). If you follow care instructions you'll definitely see results. John was very straight forward which made me want to continue with Clean Canvas. Also, very easy to make appointments and no long waiting time. Thank you Clean Canvas!(: read more

Clean Canvas Laser - Tattoo Removal Near Me - Houston, Texas

So this was my first removal here with john. This was NOT my first removal process for my tattoo removal. My previous experience at a high end day spa fried my foot. My foot turned black. I had blisters covering my foot the size of large grapes, er visit, urgent care visit, dermatologist visit and a total if 8 meds and over a month of healing with one session!!! Now with John at clean canvas laser. HE WAS AMAZING!!! He was beyond knowledgeable! He was beyond patient with me and my pain! He was realistic with the whole process it will take and didn't just feed me what I wanted to hear. Let's just say clean canvas laser is the only only only place I will trust with my tattoo removal! I work in a hospital for a living so I can see real quick if a place is a place I would trust and this place is truly as top notch as it gets! I could keep going but I'm sure you get the point of how pleased I am. Last thing, I feel great! Like amazing! It does not get any better that clean canvas laser!! read more

Super satisfied with my results!!! I don't have a shortage of good things to say about this place. Clean, State of the art equipment, affordable, less painful, informative... I could go on and on. Like other reviews I have read, I would consider myself a tattoo removal veteran as well... I have been to 3 others in Houston and gotten the same over-priced treatment, the same lack in results and them treating 2 totally different color tattoos with the same lasers EVERY time. I am shocked I don't have scares considering the inch high blisters I would get afterwards!!! I was losing hope in them every being gone until I was treated at Clean Canvas. John the owner/operator is fantastic! He explained every step in detail at each appointment. You are well informed on the entire removal process. He even checks in with you to see how you are doing a few days after treatment. That means a lot and shows he really cares for his clients. My first visit with him was my sixth treatment total but the first that I saw a dramatic difference in the tattoos. I cringe at the thought of all the wasted $$$ I spent at the other clinics. It was WAY more than the tattoos cost that's for sure. I have been so pleased I am already starting on a few more I would like gone as well. Not to mention he has been to other laser clinics in town himself so he knows first-hand the frustrations we have gone through. I most certainly recommend going here if you need to get rid of any unwanted ink! Best price and service in town by far!!! Save yourself the trouble of visiting other clinics with "fancy" radio and possibly TV advertising, they are a complete waste of time and money I promise...Been there done that! Go see John at Clean Canvas! read more

I did my research when it came to tattoo removal, as I eventually want to get a few more removed. This place had nothing but good reviews, so I decided to go to them. My work schedule is crazy, so John was nice enough to schedule me outside of business hours. My first appointment was great, the procedure itself is not too bad. It only takes a few seconds, but I couldn't handle it very well, so I took a few breaks. Before I left, I made a Sunday appointment that was 1 and a half months from that day. Fast forward to the day of my appointment, John was a NO SHOW. As I waited in the parking lot, I tried every method of communication to try to get through. Facebook, 2 different emails, text, and call. Eventually I left and went home (45 minute drive). I understand sometimes things happen, so I waited. I didn't get a response until an hour and a half later. His assistant said I wasn't even scheduled. He later emailed saying he tried to call me. He was calling a number I had 2 years ago! I updated all my information, including phone number, on the day of my first appointment. He gave me some excuse about the weather and some pipes busting. NOT ONCE did I get an apology from John. Did I mention that I prepaid for my session? I wish things would have worked out, as I know this place is one of the best. But the level of communication was low. Customer service was lacking as well. I had to call up there 4 times until my money was returned. Overall not a good experience. read more

Very professional, scensere, knowledgeable doctor. I am a professional Tattoo artist and have owned and operated more then 6 Tattoo Studios in Houston, Tx. And Los Angeles,Ca.... I can say without a doubt that this place is the best in the industry. I myself went 2 months ago to get a tattoo lasered off and I am extremely happy, not just the outcome, but the complete process, this doctor takes his time and gives a non rush very detailed explanation of the skin and ink. Look no further , this is a very knowledgeable doctor with a great attitude . read more

This place is great! John is very knowledgable and has wonderful customer service. He has a machine that cools your skin to make it numb before applying the laser. The cooling machine definetly helps with the pain. I am seeing awesome results. I wouldnt trust or recommend anyone else in houston but clean canvas. read more

I recommend John for your tattoo removal. I have been other places and the service and quality is superior at Clean Canvas. I drive in from College Station because I know what I'm getting here. Try it...you won't be disappointed. read more

John is so knowledgeable about the business. I've had a horrible 1/2 back tattoo for 12 years and finally decided to get it removed. He quoted me a great price. I appreciate the fact that he doesn't guarantee anything... you're forced to trust the process. Does it hurt? Of course. But it's bearable. The cooling system makes it less painful. The receptionist is amazing too. Can't wait to return to finish my removal process read more

As a former client of Dr.Tatoff I was really eager to find somebody that had the right tools and the right price to begin my tattoo removal after two years. John was very knowledgeable and gave me the rundown that sounded rather rehearsed however I could understand because he has so many clients and wants them to truly understand the process of removal and expectations. His pricing is fair enough although I got quoted less else where I felt comfortable doing it with him. My only complaint is that he advised me that someone from his office would contact me the next day to check up on me and to schedule my next appointment. That was about a month ago and I have yet to receive a call. I'm hoping to return as a client. read more

I came in for the first time . I was very nervous , as it is my first time being there . Or any tattoo removal place. The front desk girl wasn't really memorable , such as being welcoming at all. She made me fill out some paper work and asked for my I.d. Honestly when a guest comes in I believe the front desk really sets the mood. As they are the first person we speak to . Which made me even more nervous. I was able to get a consultation with John quickly . I appreciate his introduction and knowledge of tattoo removal. He answered all my questions . He seemed very professional. And what made me feel like John cared for his craft more than the money , was that he suggested I held off from the sessions until I was done nursing my baby . That I truly respect him as an artist. I may be back . If I could give John 5 stars alone I would. Unfortunately the front desk just set a bad tone for me. read more

Best place ever! I was hesitant on which tattoo removal facility I should go to for my tattoo removals. You can Google tattoo laser removals in Houston and a lot of places will pop up. I am glad I came to John. He was very professional and took his time to educate me on the type of different inks tattoo artist use. I am happy with my work so far and can definitely see the difference with just 2 sessions. Although he could not tell exactly how many sessions my tattoo removals are needing, I see a fast progress. Thanks John! See you in December! read more

Worst experience I can have, technician and office desk chick were just bitchy and non informative of anything except universal information. When u question it they get quiet and defensive. I JUST WALKED OUT. And the tech just posted my name as a comment except.... it's all bogus info read more

after searching all over Houston I decided on clean canvas. Well I'm absolutely glad that I did! I went in today. I had an appointment, of course. For who it may concern, The office was very neat and clean. Bathroom was tidy . love the way john sat down and explained to me the different type of inks from professional to home made , Indian inks etc. It was so much information and knowledge he gave me I almost felt like I took a class! I love how he was realistic. He doesn't sell you dreams or tell you what you want to hear and he actually does this because he enjoys it. I can tell it isn't a job to him, it's clearly a passion! We talked for so long I felt like I was sitting in his home on the couch . He's so very genuine, down to earth, intelligent , knows what he's doing and the icing on the cake is he's very handsome hey John ! LOLLL had to put that in there! Let's get to the good stuff. Well the session had some pain of course but it was over so fast AND as of right now the area doesn't even hurt. No blistering , no burning etc. really can't wait to get the tattoo fully removed but patience . I will be following up in 6 weeks for my second session. We will see how many session this will take . For now I will be drinking plenty of water, moisturizing with coconut oil and spending some time in the sauna ! doing a sauna tomorrow , john! ) . I have taken a picture now and I will take pictures every time I go in . I will post pics after the second treatment has had time to fade . Probably when I go in for my third treatment is when I will take a picture before he does the third treatment so you guys can see how much it has faded in two treatments ! read more

I purchased a full tattoo removal package from UnInk and received one treatment before they closed their doors without notice. I figured I was out $100's. Luckily I was informed that Clean Canvas was taking all of UnInk's former customers. I made an appointment and went and talked to John. He is very knowledgable and honest about tattoo removal. I have been in for two treatments with him and am very satisfied with the work so far. I highly recommend for anyone that is looking for honest and fair priced tattoo removal. read more

Today I had my first consultation and treatment with John ! I was a referral from another client of his that has had some work done. I have to say, this place was the best place a person could go!!! John was so informative and educational. Prior to him I went to a lady ( that I WILL NEVER go back to) that left some scarring and he was just plain honest he said " I can remove the tattoo but I can't do anything about the scar" . I liked that there was no grey , just black and white, shoot it to me straight. He informed me on types of ink, how the process was going to go then we started my treatment. It's not exactly a great feeling but he did allow me to stop a few times, let me lay down and restarted . He was super patient! I HIGHLY recommend this place! read more

John is very accommodating and knowledgeable. Experience and great equipment will make sessions almost painless. I had large dark tattoos that are almost gone. If you need a tattoo removed, Clean Canvas Laser is worth the trip and definitely worth the cost. read more

Trust the owner, John & his services over any other removal place in Houston!!! Believe me, I checked around and some of the quotes were 3 times higher. He knows what he is doing. He has the latest equipment and stays up to date on tattoo removal procedures. He is a nice young man, graduate of Texas A&M...this is the only place to go in my opinion. My son reported that the procedure was painless as well. Thank you, John and staff, for a 100% wonderful job with 100% removal! read more

Quick update... it's been about 5 years since I first had Clean Canvas treat my tattoos (4 total). I've taken a few extended breaks due to pregnancy, relocations, etc. My last treatment was about 2 years ago. I'd figure I've have about 2-2.5 yrs of visits once you take out my breaks. In that time, two tattoos are gone to my satisfaction. I have two that still need some additional work. I plan to start that back up soon. I had a bird on my back. All that's left there is a small area with faded blue ink. The other is a faded black dragon. The tattoo artist went too deep on the dragon and scarred my back. John's laser treatments have actually helped smooth the scarring. I know every tattoo is different for results and treatment time varies but John is very transparent about expectations. He will also recommend things to help the process (like the sauna) and if you follow his recommendations you'll be better off than where you started. read more

Very professional, informative, and affordable! My red shoulder tattoo is completely gone after. I would recommend them to anyone!

I loved my dolphin tattoo, but I don't want to be a 50 year old with a tattoo, so I have 9 months to go. However, after five treatments, my dolphin is swimming away thanks to John at Clean Canvas, he is a pro and his equipment is state of the art. read more

I've had one treatment from Clean Canvas Laser and have seen more results than the three previous treatments I've received from UnInk. John is very professional and experienced in tattoo removal. He explained why his machines works better than others out there and proved it with very good results on my first visit. I was a prepaid from Unink Tattoo Removal that thought I was going to lose out on all my upfront payments. John went above and beyond to honor what I've already paid and has given better results. Unink closing down may have been the best thing that could have happened to me. I am having a dark blue tattoo removed on my stomach. I didn't see any fading from the first three treatments that were done at UnInk (very discouraging). One treatment from Clean Canvas and I can already see where the blue is breaking up. I am very hopeful and excited to see John completely remove my embarrassing and unwanted tattoo. read more

I walked into Clean Canvas Laser just for information & answers but I walked out with my very first session completed. The procedure was well explained and very thrall. Thank goodness I found John! I previously went to North Houston Laser Tattoo Removal for 6 sessions and was scammed out of money along with scarring and no improvement of removal. A client of mine recommended John to me and he has been a LIFESAVER. He's very polite, prompt and knows what he's doing. He has managed to reduce scarring caused by the previous shop and almost erase my tattoo completely in 7 sessions. He is worth every penny and every week in between! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking! read more

I made a rash decision a few months ago and got a tattoo. Me being young and irrational sometimes, I didn't think through my decision. I had a tattoo in a fairly visible place that I am not confident about. I started doing research online and after just a little while I stumbled across Clean Canvas Laser. I decided to schedule an appointment with them after emailing them for an estimate; the price seemed very reasonable for the task at hand. I was able to schedule an appointment the very next day! Today I went in and was very nervous going in about the whole process of tattoo removal. I have heard some scary stories about tattoo removal, but I just couldn't go any longer with this tattoo. As I went in they were very nice at the front desk. As I went back to start the consultation and removal process, John explained everything that I could possibly need to know. Any questions or doubts I had going in disappeared. The process of removing wasn't painless, but it was not nearly as bad as I was expecting. I cannot begin to express how highly I would rate Clean Canvas Laser! Anyone that wants to get a tattoo removed, go to Clean Canvas Laser!! read more

I can't recommend John and his team enough. From the moment you walk into the office, you know you are around professionals.
