This is a truly lovely local place that we love supporting. Everything about it says, " Hey, come as you are & feel welcome. Here's something healthy & tasty to nourish your body." One where people are accepted for who they are and treated with respect. I adore their bathroom signs, and how clean the restrooms are, how well stocked they are, and even, how private they are since you must go out their back door and around the corner. It's nice to not open the door after using the restroom and see all the rest of the customers sitting and eating two steps away. Their smoothie menu is long, and the smoothies fresh and satisfying. Their special coffees are yummy. Their food is good. I will say that you'll need to be patient with the cooks and servers. They can get pretty busy in there at lunchtime. It's tangy worth the right amount of spice to liven up the thick sliced bacon. Definitely worthy of a repeat order. They've got a nice coffee menu to get your daily dose in and their fruit lemonade are just divine. Fruit flavors depend on what they've got made that day, so you Knot it's going to be good! The staff is super friendly and helpful. We sat outside with a doggo and one of them brought out a water bowl for him! I would advise against the tri-tip sandwich. Editing this review: the owner's response is unprofessional and inaccurate. We did not see anybody else in the small lobby and we actually did look at the menus. We would have looked at them longer if the employees weren't glaring at us the second we even got to look at the menu. The cashier did say we could still order but the rest of the "crew" didn't express the same message through their actions and facial expressions. We were there at about 2:40PM and we are sure because we are very considerate when entering businesses before they close so we are always looking at the time under these circumstances. By the time we were back into our car, we noted the time being before 2:50PM. I appreciate the owner's timely response however I think customers can have a better experience here if the owner and the staff were professional and take these reviews as learning experiences instead of accusatory / false information as a cover up for what could be room for improvement. Original review: We stopped by a few days ago on Wednesday 08/16 at 2:40PM. We were a little hesitant because it was close to closing time but decided to go in and ask if we were still able to order a smoothie. As soon as we walked in, the workers were giving us the most rude stares. There was a female employee washing dishes in the sink who was staring at us, and then started crossing her arms and scowled at us while we were deciding what smoothie to order. This made us feel uncomfortable so we decided to leave instead since the workers were clearly upset we were there as they were cleaning up to close in 20 minutes. Apparently here there's no difference between soft scrambled eggs and raw and runny eggs. So to make it easy to prepare eggs, everyone who orders eggs gets a crispy omelette. Original review: The only eggs you can get are cooked until covered with a brown crust. Apparently there is some law against scrambled eggs the normal way. You will get a crispy egg omelette or crispy brown well done fried eggs no matter how you want your eggs. The menu is on the side wall and super colourful, We were greeted and the workers were very kind when taking our orders even when asking to modify our smoothies. They did prefer exact change but took apple pay/ card as a headsup! I don't regularly get smoothies but these ones make me wish I didn't drive 4 hours out here. After eating takeout for the part several days, we were excited to eat a bit healthier for lunch and stop by Glow Juicery for a quick bite to eat. Their menu was pretty diverse with a lot of interesting flavor options. My husband and I both opted for the smoothie bowls with all the toppings included. We were with two friends who ordered smoothies. Unfortunately the wait time for the bowls was really long. Over 40 minutes. One of our friends got their smoothie after 15 minutes, the second one got theirs at around 25-30 minutes. It didn't help that we arrived hungry, but watching 5 people that arrived after us walk out with their smoothies before we got our order was pretty frustrating. I would have understood a 40 minute wait if this was a sit down restaurant, but this supposed to be a quick turnaround type of place. Our friend who got his smoothie first ended up getting a second one later because they got confused and made his again. Seemed a little unorganized with their ordering system. When the bowls did finally arrive they were very good. They included granola, strawberries, blueberries, chia seeds, coconut, agave or honey drizzle, and peanut butter or almond butter drizzle. The price for the bowl was $9 and change, but I found it pretty filling so I don't mind the price. I would come back again if the wait time/ordering could be improved. read more
