Mandy has done all my tans and she is a sweetheart. I have never had a problem with my tans and they have all been the shade I wanted and have come out even. The shade you pick stays in your file so each time you come back you can refer to it if you want to do that shade again or go lighter or darker. You need to prepare for the tan just as they recommend that you do in the instructions they send you prior to the appointment if you want this to be worth it. Also, follow the instructions on how to get to their location just as they are written. The first time I came I was confused and a bit skeptical after entering a regular building, going up an elevator, and then down an empty hall to a simple door (then again, it is exactly what they write to expect, but still!) However, after having learned the directions on how to get around the space it is fine now. A big thing is their cancelation policy (full charge if you are late or cancel within 24 hours) which I read from other reviews is a big turn-away for some. I mean, it IS extreme, but that's what it is. I always factor in extra time when traveling to my appointments and like to give myself an extra 45 minutes- 1 hour just in case (it's the city so who knows what traffic jam you can get into). I do not expect to be seen early when I arrive and one time did have to wait until my scheduled appointment time, however got lucky during my last visit and was able to tan earlier. The salon provides scrunchies, shower caps, and wipes, if you need any of the products for the tan. Going back to the package of 6 tans that I purchased, the receptionist informed me that I can leave a tip for all 6 tans in advance with my purchase right now, and it will then be applied to each tan during my future visits. For me this was a very convenient feature and now I do not need to think about payments during my next visits, as they are already prepaid with tip as well!

Jackie informed me that anything they do would fade considerably by the time my event came around. She said she would ask her boss for a recommendation in California and call me back. Within five minutes, she called me back with the name of a salon in California. They went above and beyond without knowing me. They were honest with me as to what the results would look like if I did it a week ahead of time, even if it meant losing the business. When I do decide to use a tanning salon in New York, this will be the only place I will be calling. This is old school customer service at its best!

She was assured by the two employees that her credit card would not be charged again. But that's not what happened. Mr. Win Grueber charged my daughter's credit card $65.31 for 11 months beginning in August, 2024 through June , 2025. He billed each month despite seeing no appointments were ever made. I wrote Mr. Grueber in July 2024 hoping to resolve what I thought was a billing error. His response - this was not an billing error. He said my daughter "didn't cancel properly". This despite telling his employees, in person that she was returning to school and was closing her account - and her credit card should not be billed. As employees of UES Tan, if there was anything else to do to close the account, shouldn't his employees have told her? At the very least, as a courtesy. I've spent almost 2 years trying to get my money back from Mr. Win Grueber - for no services rendered. While our credit card company was able to recover some of money he charged, there were four months of charges not recovered. I reached out again to Mr. Grueber in April, 2026 for the 4 months he charged $261.24. His response was - no response. This is a horrible way to treat people. I am sharing this as a cautionary tale to please be aware of your credit card charges with this vendor. The billing name is BLVD UES Tan.

Rosse was so sweet and kind and really worked with my schedule to fit me in. She also made me feel so comfortable! She really took the time to explain everything to me about the process and the after care. The lashes took a little while and my eyes were a little sensitive, but Rosse did an amazing job and the lashes look great. The spray tan was quick, easy, and came out really nice and even. No offer of refund or discount. After $80+ after tip i feel that ive been robbed. If you do go here, id recommend checking your tan very carefully after and asking for help with it before you leave. I decided on the Daith piercing which can be a little spicy in the best of times. My piercer took her time, explained every step of the process, and the piercing went smoothly. After she was finished, she told me how to take care of my new piercing and answered all my questions-and there were a lot of questions. Overall, I am very pleased and will go back again.

My daughter received a total of 3 piercings and I received one piercing - paid north of $700. The first time one of my daughter's piercings fell out, they fixed it with no questions asked, no documentation needed. It fell out again this morning, the person who helped us EVERY SINGLE TIME, asked for an original receipt before they put the piercing back in. We didn't have the original receipt and they only had the signed waivers (seriously?!?!?). The person who rang us out each time said the person who rang us out (you) must have not sent you the original receipt and the waivers aren't enough. We showed him the receipt where they fixed it a couple weeks ago and we weren't asked for documentation then and he still refused to perform the service without payment. We paid him the $65 and he told us to take it up with corporate (we will be) and kept saying how nice he was and we shouldn't be angry. The piercer had the nerve to want a tip after this interaction. Good luck with that! Niceness + incompetence doesn't = great customer service. Stay far away from this place.
