I don't usually leave reviews, but overall I had a great experience! The lady who did my pedicure was very gentle and personable! Everyone was very nice and the atmosphere was light. I showed up unknowingly right before they closed with my 3 year old, and they got us in immediately without complaint. The lady who did my daughter's toes was so sweet to her and made sure she was comfortable. The next day I had noticed my big toe wasn't fully dry and had came off on the tip. So I went back in to hopefully get it fixed. They were packed, and the front desk man actually stopped what he was doing to help me immediately at no charge. I will definitely be coming back. I felt like they actually do care about their job and their customers!!!! That's very hard to find for a nail salon. Wonderful place! read more

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a nail place. I will not be going back. I asked for a simple pink French tip and I was very disappointed with the service and the way my nails ended up turning out. 5 dollars for shaping is to expensive. And my friend spent 60 for a simple acrylic with one color. She said the man was rough with her nails and the shape was not good. I don't think I've ever left a negative review before now. But I need to speak up on this one. This was my first visit to Glossy Nails, and I hate to say, it was the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. I brought my own gel polish that I like, and requested just the basic pedicure from the menu they gave me. This was $30. The young man was like a speed racer and very rough. When he began trimming my nails, I asked to please only cut the big toe straight across because I'm prone to painful ingrown toe nails. He nodded, and began clipping. Got to the the first big toe and cut down the side of the nail! Again, at lightning speed, and rough enough that it was painful. I assured him I wasn't in a hurry, and he could slow down a little. But he didn't. He proceeded to slap on cuticle cream and rub it in very fast and rough. Then came what is normally everyone's favorite part. A nice, relaxing foot and leg massage (which was included in the pedicure I requested) he went ripping through it, rubbing hard and fast, and for longer than usual. I guess he thought he was giving me better servic e, I honestly don't know what he was thinking. But it was painful and couldn't wait for it to be over. The polish portion was fine. But by now, im actually feeling more stressed out than when I arrived! To add to all of that he said it would be $45! I realize that having gel applied costs about $5 more. And even though I supplied my own gel, I was fine paying a little extra. But $15? And such an aggressive pedicure, was too much! As horrible as it makes me sound ( I've never done this before) I did not tip. I went home stressed with sore feet and legs. By the time I did get home, the top of my one feet was stinging for some reason. I don't think it was the product, but rather the aggressive way it was all applied. Tonight, my toes are sore. Im sure the other techs didn't operate that way, because I saw the normal treatment the othe ladie were receiving. I feel bad for the shop owner, because I just cant give a good review. Glossy nails is always a wonderful experience I've been going here for 3 years now and have had several different techs during that time, they are all wonderful at their jobs. Although Tony is my favorite, he does a wonderful job with the massage during pedicures. Really takes his time on the massage and the nails always come out looking good. Stopped in for the first time to try these guys out. My quick review... 1) Tony greeted me and although they had a full schedule, shuffled a few appointments to make it work. 2) extremely sterile! Tub liners, gloves, sterile equipment, etc 3) one of the best gel pedicures I've had in a long time- that shouldn't be a surprise, but I've had some bad experiences lately and this one was great. 4) manicure was great! I abuse my nails and I didn't feel shamed about it! Lol 5) the largest selection of colors I've ever seen. So many colors... almost overwhelming to pick out colors! 6) the lady next to me got powder and it turned out amazing! Everyone else I've seen looks like m&ms glued to the finger nails... I decided to try Glossy Nails because of the great reviews but I most likely will not go back and let me tell you why. When I go for a pedicure, it is to relax and enjoy the massage portion. Never have I been rushed so fast...in & out in less than 30 minutes & that was for the spa pedicure. When I asked the difference afterward I was told the inly difference was the exfoliator used at the same time as the cream. Not worth the difference in price. My callouses were not touched on my toes although she did do the heels. She did a good job on the polish but the actual clipping, etc was not great. The place appears to be clean & instruments sterilized. Just is not the type of experience I expect when paying for a spa service so won't be returning. read more

I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon without an appointment. It seemed like they were very busy, but they were happy to work me in for a pedicure and gel manicure. Eric did my pedi, and seriously gave me the best foot massage of my life, in addition to doing a great job on my toenails that had been in winter hibernation. His wife did my gel mani, and picked out a great color for me. It lasted a full 2 weeks with no chipping, and my pedi is still going strong. This was my first visit to Glossy Nails having moved to Bella Vista a few months ago. I had a mani/pedi and I left with red and raw cuticles from the technican cutting too close and drawing blood on a couple of my nails. She didn't apologize and poured something on the bleeding fingers, making them burn. I haven't had this happen in a long time and will for look for another technician and/or nail salon who knows what they are doing. read more

Worst nail salon I have ever been to! Employees were very rude. Nails looked nothing like the picture I showed them of what I wanted. They were odd shaped and very thick, sharp edges underneath that were not cleaned properly. When I drew the technicians attention to the multiple mistakes and asked her to fix them, she gave me attitude and even recommended that I go to P & P Nails across the street! Her recommendation wasn't necessary, I will go anywhere except glossy nails in the future. read more

Worst pedicure ever. I've been to Glossy Nails numerous times, but today was the last. Technician didn't say "Hello, how are you?", just gestured at the pedi tub and adjusted her ear buds. She did ask about the water temp. Never spoke a word to me during the entire process except once to ask if the towel temp was okay. Talk about a rough pedi. She literally pushed my feet back into the water after completing a stage, not gently at all. I kept wondering what I could have done to her to make her so noticeably grumpy (but the use of ear buds indicated it wasn't just me). When she was finished she just got up and left. I sat for 15 minutes without a sign of her (which was fine as nails were drying). Then she came out and sat in front of another pedicure client and began doing their pedicure. When I asked the technician next to me if I was done he suggested I wait a few minutes. She got up, came over and helped me into my sandals, then checked me out. This is the very first (and hopefully last) time I left zero tip, and I am a generous tipper. I wanted to ask her if she actually expected a tip, but decided to just leave it at that. I've has my nails dipped here every two weeks for the last three months. The staff is always super nice, the owner and his wife are working every time I go in, and they always do a great job. My friends and I have tried other places but all of us have made this our usual place because they do such a great job and have way more dip polish choices than other places. I will say call ahead or make an appointment because they're always busy, if you call like a day ahead they can usually get you in though. Also the dip polish will last a month or more and you can't bite or peel it off, so it's amazing. I only go so frequently because the grow out drives me nuts. LOVE THIS PLACE! read more

I'm thrilled that they are at Cunningham Corner because it is closer to where I live. I happen to be partial to Tina, but all the technicians are very good and they are always busy. Their prices are reasonable and the salon is clean. I've gone in for one nail to be fixed when it was my own fault, and they did not charge me. I am a very happy customer. read more
