Excellent service! Glad to have found this business. Strong recommendation for oven repair!

Giving 1 star because I can't give them zero. I knew the belt in the dryer was the issue and they assured me they would have a part in the car for a quick replacement. They did not, and had to order one. Next visit they completely disassembled the dryer and it was functional - but louder than it had ever been before and felt like it was going to tumble over. Not great, but whatever, we thought we could live with it. Three weeks later the dryer will not work at all - spins a few cycles and gets seemingly locked and won't budge. I tell GLOBO and they refuse to take any responsibility, or even guaranteeing to check out the drier 3 weeks after charging $415 to seemingly ruin it without charging again for another home visit. Anyway, if you're looking to give a business $415 to ruin an appliance look no further these are your guys! read more

Honestly fast and efficient service. My laundry unit was broken earlier last year and had another service come fix it for almost $300. I felt like if I called globo earlier; it would've been better priced. Technician came the next day and only charged $55 for diagnostic fee which was cheaper than most of the area. Tells me the truth of the cost and didn't push me to replace since he knows it won't be long term. Kept mask on, and wore boot covers. Amazing! Would call them again if I needed anything. He was really friendly as well. read more

Objectively excellent. We have two built-in microwave ovens, both with broken doors. Compare Sears with GLOBO: First we had the Sears team out. The result: (1) $250 for the initial visit, nonrefundable (2) The repairman said that parts would be needed. He said it would be best to just replace the second unit. (3) He proposed $450 to fix one of them + several weeks' wait for parts Then we had GLOBO out. The result: (1) $120 for the initial visit (2) They repaired both doors on the spot, without extra parts!! (3) Total bill: $350. These guys know their stuff, they are honest and quick. Best service call I've ever had. read more

Very professional and fast service. I will be recommending them to any and everyone I can.

We had a great experience with our technician, Roman. He came with boot covers, mask and tools. He took care to assess our issue with the refrigerator and took time to clean behind the fridge. We trust his assessment and expertise. read more

GLOBO was great to work with. They responded almost immediately and arrived exactly when arranged. The work was completed timely and as per the estimate and the work area was left cleaner than before the work was done. I wouldn't hesitate to call GLOBO again for appliance repair work. Couldn't be happier. read more

I was looking for a repairman to fix my washing machine on the YELP website ( Mind you, another technician from another company came to my apartment and told me a different type of diagnosis ) I decided to look for other options for repairman. I found GLOBO on YELP and was able to get the same day mid afternoon appointment. Technician who came out to my apartment was on time, got me a quote and was knowledgably about what the problem was with the washing machine. In no time, he fixed the washer and he was gone in less than an hour. Please Yelpers, look no further I highly RECOMMED this company. read more

Quick, kind, and affordable! Felt like I got a really honest quote. The handyman was on time and explained what needed to be done to repair my fridge without pressuring me. read more

Our Thermador dishwasher gave out on a Thursday night. I called around on a Saturday to get some some help. Many companies were outrageously priced or two weeks out with their openings. GLOBO picked up the phone right away and the repairman was out in an hour. They fixed the dishwasher ready well and really quick, gave good tips on maintaining it and were extremely reasonably priced. Really happy with our experience. read more

Had an issue with my washing Machine and scheduled an appointment for them to come that day. $65 for the diagnosis. Turns out they recommended getting a new machine. Worth the cost. read more

GLOBO responded to my request for a quote quickly, and were able to repair our dishwasher the next day after I confirmed. They were reasonable in price, and the technician was very thorough. He took his time to find the problem and explained what our longer term options are. I will definitely call them again. read more

Shady company would never use or recommend!!! I was charged over double for an oven ignitor part. The technician put in the parts without approval, then called for payment using threat of breaking the oven in front of the residents. Called in to complain and was met with hostility by the company. read more

They sent a technician that pulled my stove out, took back panels off, then scrolled on his phone for 40 minutes! I asked what he was doing and not sure if he couldnt hear me because he had an earpiece in or what the problem was.... but he barely replied! After about and hour he says the main board is out. Of course, the most expensive part! He writes up an order, but when he goes to have me sign it it says if it's not the main board I still had to pay for it! $360! Says board cost was $196, it's $135 at Sears with 10% discount they offer! He never tested harnesses! all the electronics work, all four burners work, stove and broiler light, come on for about 10 seconds then go out. Not sure how he knew it was main board. He was barely communicating with me. I was told on phone repairmen had most parts on their "trucks". He arrived in a small white SUV! Don't waste your time and hard earned money on this outfit! * possibly some of their crew is skilled, but that was not my experience. * when I texted a complaint and told them I'd be giving a bad review, they threaten me with a lawsuit read more

I booked an appointment via yelp & the GLOBO tech was able to come the same day, which I really appreciated. I was a little nervous about the appointment because after I made the appointment, I saw some of the unfavorable reviews. However, my experience was great. Gennadiy was the name of the tech who came. He accurately diagnosed the problem: a scarf I was washing with my laundry got sucked below my washing machine agitator & tore up the agitator, leaving plastic pieces from the agitator all over my washing machine & laundry. The agitator had to be replaced. He told me that because of the cost (over $500), we would be better off to buy a new washing machine, which what we did. A week prior, another company had come to assess the problem & did not diagnose the problem correctly, incorrectly telling me that I must have dropped something plastic in the machine & that is where the plastic pieces in the washer came from. He never bothered to remove the agitator to determine the true case. Especially because another company diagnosed the problem incorrectly, I really appreciated that GLOBO got it right. As such, I do recommend them and will call them again if I have any further appliance issues. read more

BUYER BEWARE! To add to my previous review... this company told me that the brackets the hold the dryer to the washer were broken but the company looking at it right now, just confirmed that they are nor broken. It looks more and more like they just took my money to 'diagnose' the problem, lied about all that was wrong then finally refused to fix it. read more

Super quick response, very easy to communicate about the service call and schedule an appointment! Helpful advice and assessment of our appliance problem. We will definitely use their services again! read more

We had a great experience with John as our technician. The part that we need to repair our dryer is not in stock, but he was able to talk us through a few different options which we really appreciated. We're hoping that he's able to find the part soon and continue to repair our appliance. Thanks for the speedy response and professionalism. read more

Excellent company from getting an appointment through the technician, John, looking at our broken washer. He was SO knowledgeable but didn't try to oversell us on an expensive fix. He helped us decide if fixing or buying new was better for us--at no extra charge. And the price was very reasonable in comparison to what we heard from other companies for a diagnostic appointment. I hope no other appliance needs fixing but if it does, I'm calling GLOBO. read more

Gena was awesome!!! Kept me informed on repairs and process. He arrived on time and gave an ample text notice prior to being on site. Once repairs were completed I was provided with a review and shown how the washing machine cycles was now working. Very happy with the repair. Thanks!! read more

They responded to my request very quickly and provided a good rate. They were able to come to my house on a Sunday to diagnose the problem with my Viking refrigerator. They determined the compressor was dead and recommended NOT to replace it and instead just buy a new refrigerator. Their recommendation saved me $$$$. I highly recommend them!!! read more

Came to fix my ice maker. The first one flooded my freezer.. Had I not been home, it would have ruined my floors. Then they came out again and that ice maker only worked to fill up once. We don't use ice frequently so when I noticed it didn't refill, they refused to come back and fix it. It have been 28 days after the repair. Now they won't answer texts or work anything out with me. read more

GLOBO diagnosed the issue with my microwave and charged me $75. After that, they were unwilling to actually repair the unit, despite the fact that the manufacturer would send them the necessary part for free, under warranty. So they were happy to take my $75, but refused to actually repair the unit. Avoid if you don't want to get scammed. read more

Good customer service but was unable to fix my slow water dispenser on my fridge. i had to go with another company to fix it

This was a great experience! The guy was so helpful and responsive. He helped quickly ma luckily the repair was a quicker fix.

Their repairman Gena, did an awesome job repairing the dryer. He explained what the issue was and showed me what was wrong. He fixed it and it looked like new because he cleaned the inner workings of the dryer, also. I highly recommend t hem! read more

technician came on time, gave me a price, fixed problem, no issues

My 10-year old built-in Bosch wall oven was taking a long time to pre-heat and some heating functions weren't working. John quickly diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, the necessary part is no longer manufactured, and even if it were, the likelihood of other things going wrong within 6 months is quite high. He honestly told me that the lifespan of an oven is about 10 years. Trying to repair it would be costly and only short-term at best. I appreciated his honesty. I paid the very reasonable $75 diagnostic fee and then ordered a new oven from Abt. read more

The repairman came right on time and did the job efficiently. Also, it was pretty reasonable I think for the dryer service. I'd recommend this company. read more
